1 Chronicles 4

English: The sons of Judah; Pharez, Hezron, and Carmi, and Hur, and Shobal.

Malayalam: യെഹൂദയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: പേരെസ്, ഹെസ്രോൻ, കർമ്മി, ഹൂർ, ശോബൽ.

English: And Reaiah the son of Shobal brings forth Jahath; and Jahath brings forth Ahumai, and Lahad. These are the families of the Zorathites.

Malayalam: ശോബലിന്റെ മകനായ രെയായാവു യഹത്തിനെ ജനപ്പിച്ചു; യഹത്ത് അഹൂമായിയെയും ലാഹദിനെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു. ഇവർ സോരത്യരുടെ കുലങ്ങൾ.

English: And these were of the father of Etam; Jezreel, and Ishma, and Idbash: and the name of their sister was Hazelelponi:

Malayalam: ഏതാമിന്റെ അപ്പനിൽ നിന്നുത്ഭവിച്ചവർ ഇവർ: യിസ്രെയേൽ, യിശ്മാ, യിദ്ബാശ്; അവരുടെ സഹോദരിക്കു ഹസ്സെലൊല്പോനി എന്നു പേർ.

English: And Penuel the father of Gedor, and Ezer the father of Hushah. These are the sons of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah, the father of Bethlehem.

Malayalam: പെനൂവേൽ ഗെദോരിന്റെ അപ്പനും, ഏസെർ ഹൂശയുടെ അപ്പനും ആയിരുന്നു. ഇവർ ബേത്ത്ളേഹെമിന്റെ അപ്പനായ എഫ്രാത്തയുടെ ആദ്യജാതനായ ഹൂരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ.

English: And Ashur the father of Tekoa had two wives, Helah and Naarah.

Malayalam: തെക്കോവയുടെ അപ്പനായ അശ്ഹൂരിന്നു ഹേലാ, നയരാ എന്ന രണ്ടു ഭാര്യമാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

English: And Naarah bare him Ahuzam, and Hepher, and Temeni, and Haahashtari. These were the sons of Naarah.

Malayalam: നയരാ അവന്നു അഹുസ്സാം, ഹേഫെർ, തേമനി, ഹായഹസ്താരി എന്നിവരെ പ്രസവിച്ചു. ഇവർ നയരയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ.

English: And the sons of Helah were, Zereth, and Jezoar, and Ethnan.

Malayalam: ഹേലയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: സേരെത്ത്, യെസോഹർ, എത്നാൻ.

English: And Coz brings forth Anub, and Zobebah, and the families of Aharhel the son of Harum.

Malayalam: കോസ് ആനൂബിനെയും സോബേബയെയും ഹാരൂമിന്റെ മകനായ അഹർഹേലിന്റെ കുലങ്ങളെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

English: And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.

Malayalam: യബ്ബേസ് തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെക്കാൾ ഏറ്റവും മാന്യൻ ആയിരുന്നു; അവന്റെ അമ്മ: ഞാൻ അവനെ വ്യസനത്തോടെ പ്രസവിച്ചു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവന്നു യബ്ബേസ് എന്നു പേരിട്ടു.

English: And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that you would bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that yours hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

Malayalam: യബ്ബേസ് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവത്തോടു: നീ എന്നെ നിശ്ചയമായി അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു എന്റെ അതിർ വിസ്താരമാക്കുകയും നിന്റെ കൈ എന്നോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്നു അനർത്ഥം എനിക്കു വ്യസനകാരണമായി തീരാതവണ്ണം എന്നെ കാക്കുകയും ചെയ്താൽ കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു എന്നു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു. അവൻ അപേക്ഷിച്ചതിനെ ദൈവം അവന്നു നല്കി.

English: And Chelub the brother of Shuah brings forth Mehir, which was the father of Eshton.

Malayalam: ശൂഹയുടെ സഹോദരനായ കെലൂബ് മെഹീരിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; ഇവൻ എസ്തോന്റെ അപ്പൻ.

English: And Eshton brings forth Bethrapha, and Paseah, and Tehinnah the father of Irnahash. These are the men of Rechah.

Malayalam: എസ്തോൻ ബേത്ത്-രാഫയെയും പാസേഹയെയും ഈർനാഹാസിന്റെ അപ്പനായ തെഹിന്നയെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു. ഇവർ രേഖാനിവാസികൾ ആകുന്നു.

English: And the sons of Kenaz; Othniel, and Seraiah: and the sons of Othniel; Hathath.

Malayalam: കെനസ്സിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഒത്നീയേൽ, സെരായാവു; ഒത്നീയേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഹഥത്ത്.

English: And Meonothai brings forth Ophrah: and Seraiah brings forth Joab, the father of the valley of Charashim; for they were craftsmen.

Malayalam: മെയോനോഥയി ഒഫ്രയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; സെരായാവു ഗേ-ഹരാശീമിന്റെ അപ്പനായ യോവാബിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; അവർ കൌശലപ്പണിക്കാർ ആയിരുന്നുവല്ലോ.

English: And the sons of Caleb the son of Jephunneh; Iru, Elah, and Naam: and the sons of Elah, even Kenaz.

Malayalam: യെഫുന്നെയുടെ മകനായ കാലേബിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഈരൂ, ഏലാ, നായം; ഏലയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: കെനസ്.

English: And the sons of Jehaleleel; Ziph, and Ziphah, Tiria, and Asareel.

Malayalam: യെഹലലേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: സീഫ്, സീഫാ, തീർയ്യാ, അസരെയേൽ.

English: And the sons of Ezra were, Jether, and Mered, and Epher, and Jalon: and she bare Miriam, and Shammai, and Ishbah the father of Eshtemoa.

Malayalam: എസ്രയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: യേഥെർ, മേരെദ്, ഏഫെർ, യാലോൻ എന്നിവരായിരുന്നു. അവൾ മിർയ്യാമിനെയും ശമ്മയെയും എസ്തെമോവയുടെ അപ്പനായ യിശ്ബഹിനെയും പ്രസവിച്ചു.

English: And his wife Jehudijah bare Jered the father of Gedor, and Heber the father of Socho, and Jekuthiel the father of Zanoah. And these are the sons of Bithiah the daughter of Pharaoh, which Mered took.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ ഭാര്യയായ യെഹൂദീയ ഗെദോരിന്റെ അപ്പനായ യേരെദിനെയും സോഖോവിന്റെ അപ്പനായ ഹേബെരിനെയും സാനോഹയുടെ അപ്പനായ യെക്കൂഥീയേലിനെയും പ്രസവിച്ചു. ഇവരാകുന്നു മേരെദ് പരിഗ്രഹിച്ച ഫറവോന്റെ മകളായ ബിഥ്യയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ.

English: And the sons of his wife Hodiah the sister of Naham, the father of Keilah the Garmite, and Eshtemoa the Maachathite.

Malayalam: നഹമിന്റെ സഹോദരിയും ഹോദീയാവിന്റെ ഭാര്യയുമായവളുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഗർമ്മ്യനായ കെയീലയുടെ അപ്പനും മയഖാത്യനായ എസ്തെമോവയും തന്നേ.

English: And the sons of Shimon were, Amnon, and Rinnah, Benhanan, and Tilon. And the sons of Ishi were, Zoheth, and Benzoheth.

Malayalam: ശീമോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അമ്നോൻ, രിന്നാ, ബെൻ-ഹാനാൻ, തീലോൻ. യിശിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: സോഹേത്ത്, ബെൻ-സോഹേത്ത്.

English: The sons of Shelah the son of Judah were, Er the father of Lecah, and Laadah the father of Mareshah, and the families of the house of them that wrought fine linen, of the house of Ashbea,

Malayalam: യെഹൂദയുടെ മകനായ ശേലയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ലേഖയുടെ അപ്പനായ ഏരും മാരേശയുടെ അപ്പനായ ലദയും ബേത്ത്-അശ്ബെയയിൽ ശണപടം നെയ്യുന്ന കൈത്തൊഴിൽക്കാരുടെ കുലങ്ങളും;

English: And Jokim, and the men of Chozeba, and Joash, and Saraph, who had the dominion in Moab, and Jashubilehem. And these are ancient things.

Malayalam: യോക്കീമും കോസേബാനിവാസികളും മോവാബിൽ അധികാരം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന യോവാശ്, സാരാഫ് എന്നിവരും യാശുബീ-ലേഹെമും തന്നേ. ഇവ പുരാണവൃത്താന്തങ്ങൾ അല്ലോ.

English: These were the potters, and those that dwelt among plants and hedges: there they dwelt with the king for his work.

Malayalam: ഇവർ നെതായീമിലും ഗെദേരയിലും പാർത്ത കുശവന്മാർ ആയിരുന്നു; അവർ രാജാവിനോടുകൂടെ അവന്റെ വേല ചെയ്‍വാൻ അവിടെ പാർത്തു.

English: The sons of Simeon were, Nemuel, and Jamin, Jarib, Zerah, and Shaul:

Malayalam: ശിമെയോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: നെമൂവേൽ, യാമീൻ, യാരീബ്, സേരഹ്, ശൌൽ;

English: Shallum his son, Mibsam his son, Mishma his son.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ മകൻ ശല്ലൂം; അവന്റെ മകൻ മിബ്ശാം; അവന്റെ മകൻ മിശ്മാ.

English: And the sons of Mishma; Hamuel his son, Zacchur his son, Shimei his son.

Malayalam: മിശ്മയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അവന്റെ മകൻ ഹമ്മൂവേൽ; അവന്റെ മകൻ സക്കൂർ; അവന്റെ മകൻ ശിമെയി;

English: And Shimei had sixteen sons and six daughters: but his brethren had not many children, neither did all their family multiply, like to the children of Judah.

Malayalam: ശിമെയിക്കു പതിനാറു പുത്രന്മാരും ആറു പുത്രിമാരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; എങ്കിലും അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർക്കു അധികം മക്കളില്ലായ്കയാൽ അവരുടെ കുലമെല്ലാം യെഹൂദാമക്കളോളം വർദ്ധിച്ചില്ല.

English: And they dwelt at Beersheba, and Moladah, and Hazarshual,

Malayalam: അവർ ബേർ-ശേബയിലും

English: And at Bilhah, and at Ezem, and at Tolad,

Malayalam: മോലാദയിലും ഹസർ-ശൂവാലിലും ബിൽഹയിലും

English: And at Bethuel, and at Hormah, and at Ziklag,

Malayalam: ഏസെമിലും തോലാദിലും ബെഥൂവേലിലും

English: And at Bethmarcaboth, and Hazarsusim, and at Bethbirei, and at Shaaraim. These were their cities unto the reign of David.

Malayalam: ഹൊർമ്മയിലും സിക്ളാഗിലും ബേത്ത്-മർക്കാബോത്തിലും ഹസർ-സൂസീമിലും ബേത്ത്-ബിരിയിലും ശയരയീമിലും പാർത്തു. ഇവ ദാവീദിന്റെ വാഴ്ചവരെ അവരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങൾ ആയിരുന്നു.

English: And their villages were, Etam, and Ain, Rimmon, and Tochen, and Ashan, five cities:

Malayalam: അവരുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങൾ: ഏതാം, അയീൻ, രിമ്മോൻ, തോഖെൻ, ആശാൻ ഇങ്ങനെ അഞ്ചു പട്ടണവും

English: And all their villages that were round about the same cities, unto Baal. These were their habitations, and their genealogy.

Malayalam: ഈ പട്ടണങ്ങളുടെ ചുറ്റും ബാൽവരെ അവെക്കുള്ള സകലഗ്രാമങ്ങളും തന്നേ. ഇവ അവരുടെ വാസസ്ഥലങ്ങൾ. അവർക്കു സ്വന്തവംശാവലിയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

English: And Meshobab, and Jamlech, and Joshah, the son of Amaziah,

Malayalam: മെശോബാബ്, യമ്ളേക്, അമസ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ യോശാ, യോവേൽ,

English: And Joel, and Jehu the son of Josibiah, the son of Seraiah, the son of Asiel,

Malayalam: അസീയേലിന്റെ മകനായ സെരായാവിന്റെ മകനായ യോശിബ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ യേഹൂ, എല്യോവേനായി,

English: And Elioenai, and Jaakobah, and Jeshohaiah, and Asaiah, and Adiel, and Jesimiel, and Benaiah,

Malayalam: യയക്കോബാ, യെശോഹായാവു, അസായാവു, അദീയേൽ, യസീമീയേൽ,

English: And Ziza the son of Shiphi, the son of Allon, the son of Jedaiah, the son of Shimri, the son of Shemaiah;

Malayalam: ബെനായാവു, ശെമെയാവിന്റെ മകനായ ശിമ്രിയുടെ മകനായ യെദായാവിന്റെ മകനായ അല്ലോന്റെ മകനായ ശിഫിയുടെ മകനായ സീസാ;

English: These mentioned by their names were princes in their families: and the house of their fathers increased greatly.

Malayalam: പേർ വിവരം പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന ഇവർ തങ്ങളുടെ കുലങ്ങളിൽ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരായിരുന്നു; അവരുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങൾ ഏറ്റവും വർദ്ധിച്ചിരുന്നു.

English: And they went to the entrance of Gedor, even unto the east side of the valley, to seek pasture for their flocks.

Malayalam: അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടങ്ങൾക്കു മേച്ചൽ തിരയേണ്ടതിന്നു ഗെദോർപ്രവേശനത്തോളം താഴ്വരയുടെ കിഴക്കുവശംവരെ യാത്രചെയ്തു.

English: And they found fat pasture and good, and the land was wide, and quiet, and peaceable; for they of Ham had dwelt there of old.

Malayalam: അവർ പുഷ്ടിയുള്ളതും നല്ലതുമായ മേച്ചൽ കണ്ടെത്തി; ദേശം വിസ്താരവും സ്വസ്ഥതയും സമാധാനവും ഉള്ളതായിരുന്നു; അവിടത്തെ പൂർവ്വനിവാസികൾ ഹാംവംശക്കാരായിരുന്നു.

English: And these written by name came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and stroke their tents, and the habitations that were found there, and destroyed them utterly unto this day, and dwelt in their rooms: because there was pasture there for their flocks.

Malayalam: പേർവിവരം എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്ന ഇവർ യെഹൂദ്യരാജാവായ യഹിസ്കീയാവിന്റെ കാലത്തു അവിടെ ചെന്നു അവരുടെ കൂടാരങ്ങളെയും അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന മെയൂന്യരെയും ആക്രമിച്ചു, ഇന്നുവരെ അവർക്കു നിർമ്മൂലനാശം വരുത്തുകയും അവിടെ തങ്ങളുടെ ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടങ്ങൾക്കു മേച്ചൽ ഉള്ളതുകൊണ്ടു അവർക്കു പകരം പാർക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

English: And some of them, even of the sons of Simeon, five hundred men, went to mount Seir, having for their captains Pelatiah, and Neariah, and Rephaiah, and Uzziel, the sons of Ishi.

Malayalam: ശിമെയോന്യരായ ഇവരിൽ അഞ്ഞൂറുപേർ, യിശിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാരായ, പെലത്യാവു, നെയർയ്യാവു, രെഫായാവു, ഉസ്സീയേൽ എന്നീ തലവന്മാരോടുകൂടെ സേയീർപർവ്വതത്തിലേക്കു യാത്രചെയ്തു.

English: And they stroke the rest of the Amalekites that were escaped, and dwelt there unto this day.

Malayalam: അവർ അമാലേക്യരിൽ ചാടിപ്പോയിരുന്ന ശിഷ്ടജനത്തെ വെട്ടിക്കൊന്നു ഇന്നുവരെ അവിടെ പാർക്കുന്നു.
