1 Thessalonians 4

English: Furthermore then we plead to you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as all of you have received of us how all of you ought to walk and to please God, so all of you would abound more and more.

Malayalam: ഒടുവിൽ സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ദൈവ പ്രസാദം ലഭിപ്പാന്തക്കവണ്ണം നിങ്ങൾ എങ്ങനെ നടക്കേണം എന്നു ഞങ്ങളോടു ഗ്രഹിച്ചതുപോലെ — നിങ്ങൾ നടക്കുന്നതുപോലെ തന്നേ — ഇനിയും അധികം വർദ്ധിച്ചു വരേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ കർത്താവായ യേശുവിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ നിങ്ങളോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

English: For all of you know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.

Malayalam: ഞങ്ങൾ കർത്താവായ യേശുവിന്റെ ആജ്ഞയാൽ ഇന്ന കല്പനകളെ തന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.

English: For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that all of you should abstain from fornication:

Malayalam: ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടമോ നിങ്ങളുടെ ശുദ്ധീകരണം തന്നേ. നിങ്ങൾ ദുർന്നടപ്പു വിട്ടൊഴിഞ്ഞു

English: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;

Malayalam: ഓരോരുത്തൻ ദൈവത്തെ അറിയാത്ത ജാതികളെപ്പോലെ കാമവികാരത്തിലല്ല,

English: Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:

Malayalam: വിശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിലും മാനത്തിലും താന്താന്റെ പാത്രത്തെ നേടിക്കൊള്ളട്ടെ.

English: That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.

Malayalam: ഈ കാര്യത്തിൽ ആരും അതിക്രമിക്കയും സഹോദരനെ ചതിക്കയും അരുതു; ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളോടു മുമ്പെ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ ഈ വകെക്കു ഒക്കെയും പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ കർത്താവല്ലോ.

English: For God has not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

Malayalam: ദൈവം നമ്മെ അശുദ്ധിക്കല്ല വിശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിന്നത്രേ വിളിച്ചതു.

English: He therefore that despises, despises not man, but God, who has also given unto us his holy Spirit.

Malayalam: ആകയാൽ തുച്ഛീകരിക്കുന്നവൻ മനുഷ്യനെ അല്ല, തന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനെ നിങ്ങൾക്കു തരുന്ന ദൈവത്തെ തന്നേ തുച്ഛീകരിക്കുന്നു.

English: But as concerning brotherly love all of you need not that I write unto you: for all of you yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

Malayalam: സഹോദരപ്രീതിയെക്കുറിച്ചു നിങ്ങൾക്കു എഴുതുവാൻ ആവശ്യമില്ല; അന്യോന്യം സ്നേഹിപ്പാൻ നിങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്താൽ ഉപദേശം പ്രാപിച്ചതല്ലാതെ

English: And indeed all of you do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we plead to you, brethren, that all of you increase more and more;

Malayalam: മക്കെദൊന്യയിൽ എങ്ങുമുള്ള സഹോദരന്മാരോടു ഒക്കെയും അങ്ങനെ ആചരിച്ചും പോരുന്നുവല്ലോ; എന്നാൽ സഹോദരന്മാരേ, അതിൽ നിങ്ങൾ അധികമായി വർദ്ധിച്ചുവരേണം എന്നും

English: And that all of you study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;

Malayalam: പുറത്തുള്ളവരോടു മര്യാദയായി നടപ്പാനും ഒന്നിന്നും മുട്ടില്ലാതിരിപ്പാനും വേണ്ടി

English: That all of you may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that all of you may have lack of nothing.

Malayalam: ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളോടു ആജ്ഞാപിച്ചതുപോലെ അടങ്ങിപ്പാർപ്പാനും സ്വന്തകാര്യം നോക്കുവാനും സ്വന്തകൈകൊണ്ടു വേല ചെയ്‍വാനും അഭിമാനം തോന്നേണം എന്നും നിങ്ങളെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

English: But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that all of you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

Malayalam: സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങൾ പ്രത്യാശയില്ലാത്ത മറ്റുള്ളവരെപ്പോലെ ദുഃഖിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിദ്രകൊള്ളുന്നവരെക്കുറിച്ചു അറിവില്ലാതിരിക്കരുതു എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.

English: For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

Malayalam: യേശു മരിക്കയും ജീവിച്ചെഴുന്നേൽക്കയും ചെയ്തു എന്നു നാം വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ദൈവം നിദ്രകൊണ്ടവരെയും യേശുമുഖാന്തരം അവനോടുകൂടെ വരുത്തും.

English: For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

Malayalam: കർത്താവിന്റെ പ്രത്യക്ഷതവരെ ജീവനോടെ ശേഷിക്കുന്നവരായ നാം നിദ്രകൊണ്ടവർക്കു മുമ്പാകയില്ല എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ കർത്താവിന്റെ വചനത്താൽ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

English: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Malayalam: കർത്താവു താൻ ഗംഭീരനാദത്തോടും പ്രധാനദൂതന്റെ ശബ്ദത്തോടും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കാഹളത്തോടുംകൂടെ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽനിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിവരികയും ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ മരിച്ചവർ മുമ്പെ ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേൽക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

English: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Malayalam: പിന്നെ ജീവനോടെ ശേഷിക്കുന്ന നാം അവരോടു ഒരുമിച്ചു ആകാശത്തിൽ കർത്താവിനെ എതിരേല്പാൻ മേഘങ്ങളിൽ എടുക്കപ്പെടും; ഇങ്ങനെ നാം എപ്പോഴും കർത്താവിനോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കും.

English: Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Malayalam: ഈ വചനങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടു അന്യോന്യം ആശ്വസിപ്പിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ.
