2 Kings 20

English: In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus says the LORD, Set yours house in order; for you shall die, and not live.

Malayalam: ആ കാലത്തു ഹിസ്കീയാവിന്നു മരിക്കത്തക്ക രോഗം പിടിച്ചു; ആമോസിന്റെ മകനായ യെശയ്യാപ്രവാചകൻ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു അവനോടു: നിന്റെ ഗൃഹകാര്യം ക്രമത്തിൽ ആക്കുക; നീ മരിച്ചുപോകും, ശേഷിക്കയില്ല എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying,

Malayalam: അപ്പോൾ ഹിസ്കീയാവു മുഖം ചുവരിന്റെ നേരെ തിരിച്ചു യഹോവയോടു പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു:

English: I plead to you, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before you in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in your sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

Malayalam: അയ്യോ യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ വിശ്വസ്തതയോടും ഏകാഗ്രഹൃദയത്തോടും കൂടെ തിരുമുമ്പിൽ നടന്നു നിനക്കു പ്രസാദമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഓർക്കേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. ഹിസ്കീയാവു ഏറ്റവും കരഞ്ഞു.

English: And it came to pass, before Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying,

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ യെശയ്യാവു നടുമുറ്റം വിട്ടു പോകുംമുമ്പെ അവന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുപ്പാടു ഉണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

English: Return, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father, I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears: behold, I will heal you: on the third day you shall go up unto the house of the LORD.

Malayalam: നീ മടങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭുവായ ഹിസ്കീയാവോടു പറയേണ്ടതു: നിന്റെ പിതാവായ ദാവീദിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ നിന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥന കേട്ടു നിന്റെ കണ്ണുനീർ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിന്നെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കും; മൂന്നാം ദിവസം നീ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ പോകും.

English: And I will add unto your days fifteen years; and I will deliver you and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ആയുസ്സിനോടു പതിനഞ്ചു സംവത്സരം കൂട്ടും; ഞാൻ നിന്നെയും ഈ നഗരത്തെയും അശ്ശൂർരാജാവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ നിന്നു വിടുവിക്കും. എന്റെ നിമിത്തവും എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിന്റെ നിമിത്തവും ഈ നഗരം ഞാൻ കാത്തു രക്ഷിക്കും.

English: And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.

Malayalam: പിന്നെ യെശയ്യാവു ഒരു അത്തിപ്പഴക്കട്ട കൊണ്ടുവരുവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അവർ അതു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു പരുവിന്മേൽ ഇട്ടു അവന്നു സൌഖ്യമായി.

English: And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I shall go up into the house of the LORD the third day?

Malayalam: ഹിസ്കീയാവു യെശയ്യാവോടു: യഹോവ എന്നെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കുകയും ഞാൻ മൂന്നാം ദിവസം യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ പോകയും ചെയ്യുമെന്നതിന്നു അടയാളം എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

English: And Isaiah said, This sign shall you have of the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he has spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?

Malayalam: അതിന്നു യെശയ്യാവു: യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത കാര്യം നിവർത്തിക്കുമെന്നുള്ളതിന്നു യഹോവയിങ്കൽനിന്നു ഇതു നിനക്കു അടയാളം ആകും: നിഴൽ പത്തു പടി മുമ്പോട പോകേണമോ? പത്തു പടി പിന്നോക്കം തിരിയേണമോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

English: And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees.

Malayalam: അതിന്നു ഹിസ്കീയാവു: നിഴൽ പത്തു പടി ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോകുന്നതു എളുപ്പം ആകുന്നു; അങ്ങനെയല്ല, നിഴൽ പത്തുപടി പിന്നോക്കം തിരിയട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the LORD: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz.

Malayalam: അപ്പോൾ യെശയ്യാപ്രവാചകൻ യഹോവയെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ചു; അവൻ ആഹാസിന്റെ സൂര്യഘടികാരത്തിൽ ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോയിരുന്ന നിഴലിനെ പത്തു പടി പിന്നോക്കം തിരിയുമാറാക്കി.

English: At that time Berodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present unto Hezekiah: for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick.

Malayalam: ആ കാലത്തു ബലദാന്റെ മകനായ ബെരോദാക്-ബലദാൻ എന്ന ബാബേൽരാജാവു ഹിസ്കീയാവു ദീനമായ്ക്കിടന്നിരുന്നു എന്നു കേട്ടിട്ടു ഹിസ്കീയാവിന്നു എഴുത്തും സമ്മാനവും കൊടുത്തയച്ചു.

English: And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and showed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah showed them not.

Malayalam: ഹിസ്കീയാവു അവരുടെ വാക്കു കേട്ടു തന്റെ ഭണ്ഡാരഗൃഹം മുഴുവനും പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയും സുഗന്ധവർഗ്ഗവും പരിമളതൈലവും തന്റെ ആയുധശാലയും തന്റെ ഭണ്ഡാരങ്ങളിൽ ഉള്ളതൊക്കെയും അവരെ കാണിച്ചു. രാജധാനിയിലും തന്റെ ആധിപത്യത്തിലും ഹിസ്കീയാവു അവരെ കാണിക്കാത്ത ഒരു വസ്തുവും ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു.

English: Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto you? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country, even from Babylon.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ യെശയ്യാപ്രവാചകൻ ഹിസ്കീയാരാജാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു അവനോടു: ഈ പുരുഷന്മാർ എന്തു പറഞ്ഞു? അവർ എവിടെ നിന്നു നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു ഹിസ്കീയാവു: അവർ ദൂരദേശത്തുനിന്നു, ബാബേലിൽനിന്നു വന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And he said, What have they seen in yours house? And Hezekiah answered, All the things that are in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not showed them.

Malayalam: അവർ രാജധാനയിൽ എന്തെല്ലാം കണ്ടു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു ഹിസ്കീയാവു: രാജധാനിയിലുള്ളതൊക്കെയും അവർ കണ്ടു; എന്റെ ഭണ്ഡാരത്തിൽ ഞാൻ അവർക്കു കാണിക്കാത്ത ഒരു വസ്തുവും ഇല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD.

Malayalam: യെശയ്യാവു ഹിസ്കീയാവോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേൾക്ക:

English: Behold, the days come, that all that is in yours house, and that which your fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon: nothing shall be left, says the LORD.

Malayalam: രാജധാനിയിലുള്ളതൊക്കെയും നിന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാർ ഇന്നുവരെ ശേഖരിച്ചുവെച്ചതും ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ ബാബേലിലേക്കു എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടു പോകുന്ന കാലം വരുന്നു.

English: And of your sons that shall issue from you, which you shall brought forth, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.

Malayalam: നീ ജനിപ്പിച്ചവരായി നിന്നിൽനിന്നുത്ഭവിക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിലും ചിലരെ അവർ കൊണ്ടുപോകും; അവർ ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ അരമനയിൽ ഷണ്ഡന്മാരായിരിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which you have spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if peace and truth be in my days?

Malayalam: അതിന്നു ഹിസ്കീയാവു യെശയ്യാവോടു: നീ പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന യഹോവയുടെ വചനം നല്ലതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; എന്റെ ജീവകാലത്തു സമാധാനവും സത്യവും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുമല്ലോ എന്നും അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a pool, and a conduit, and brought water into the city, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

Malayalam: ഹിസ്കീയാവിന്റെ മറ്റുള്ള വൃത്താന്തങ്ങളും അവന്റെ സകല പരാക്രമപ്രവൃത്തികളും അവൻ ഒരു കുളവും കല്പാത്തിയും ഉണ്ടാക്കി വെള്ളം നഗരത്തിന്നകത്തു വരുത്തിയതും യെഹൂദാരാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ വൃത്താന്തപുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

English: And Hezekiah slept with his fathers: and Manasseh his son reigned in his position.

Malayalam: ഹിസ്കീയാവു തന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെപ്പോലെ നിദ്രപ്രാപിച്ചു; അവന്റെ മകനായ മനശ്ശെ അവന്നു പകരം രാജാവായി.
