Genesis 15

English: After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am your shield, and your exceeding great reward.

Malayalam: അതിന്റെ ശേഷം അബ്രാമിന്നു ദർശനത്തിൽ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു ഉണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ: അബ്രാമേ, ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; ഞാൻ നിന്റെ പരിചയും നിന്റെ അതി മഹത്തായ പ്രതിഫലവും ആകുന്നു.

English: And Abram said, LORD God, what will you give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?

Malayalam: അതിന്നു അബ്രാം: കർത്താവായ യഹോവേ, നീ എനിക്കു എന്തു തരും? ഞാൻ മക്കളില്ലാത്തവനായി നടക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ; എന്റെ അവകാശി ദമ്മേശെക്കുകാരനായ ഈ എല്യേസർ അത്രേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And Abram said, Behold, to me you have given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.

Malayalam: നീ എനിക്കു സന്തതിയെ തന്നിട്ടില്ല, എന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ ജനിച്ച ദാസൻ എന്റെ അവകാശിയാകുന്നു എന്നും അബ്രാം പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be yours heir; but he that shall come forth out of yours own bowels shall be yours heir.

Malayalam: അവൻ നിന്റെ അവകാശിയാകയില്ല; നിന്റെ ഉദരത്തിൽനിന്നുപുറപ്പെടുന്നവൻ തന്നേ നിന്റെ അവകാശിയാകും. എന്നു അവന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടുണ്ടായി.

English: And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if you be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall your seed be.

Malayalam: പിന്നെ അവൻ അവനെ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു: നീ ആകാശത്തേക്കു നോക്കുക; നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളെ എണ്ണുവാൻ കഴിയുമെങ്കിൽ എണ്ണുക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു. നിന്റെ സന്തതിഇങ്ങനെ ആകും എന്നും അവനോടു കല്പിച്ചു.

English: And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

Malayalam: അവൻ യഹോവയിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചു; അതു അവൻ അവന്നു നീതിയായി കണക്കിട്ടു.

English: And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought you out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give you this land to inherit it.

Malayalam: പിന്നെ അവനോടു: ഈ ദേശത്തെ നിനക്കു അവകാശമായി തരുവാൻ കൽദയപട്ടണമായ ഊരിൽനിന്നു നിന്നെ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുവന്ന യഹോവ ഞാൻ ആകുന്നു എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

English: And he said, LORD God, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?

Malayalam: കർത്താവായ യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ അതിനെ അവകാശമാക്കുമെന്നുള്ളതുഎനിക്കു എന്തൊന്നിനാൽ അറിയാം എന്നു അവൻ ചോദിച്ചു.

English: And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.

Malayalam: അവൻ അവനോടു: നീ മൂന്നു വയസ്സുള്ള ഒരു പശുക്കിടാവിനെയും മൂന്നുവയസ്സുള്ള ഒരു കോലാടിനെയും മൂന്നു വയസ്സുള്ള ഒരു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും ഒരു കുറുപ്രാവിനെയും ഒരു പ്രാവിൻ കുഞ്ഞിനെയും കൊണ്ടുവരിക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

English: And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.

Malayalam: ഇവയെയൊക്കെയും അവൻ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു ഒത്തനടുവെ പിളർന്നു ഭാഗങ്ങളെ നേർക്കുനേരെ വെച്ചു; പക്ഷികളെയോ അവൻ പിളർന്നില്ല.

English: And when the fowls came down upon the carcasses, Abram drove them away.

Malayalam: ഉടലുകളിന്മേൽ റാഞ്ചൻ പക്ഷികൾഇറങ്ങി വന്നപ്പോൾ അബ്രാം അവയെ ആട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

English: And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.

Malayalam: സൂര്യൻ അസ്തമിക്കുമ്പോൾ അബ്രാമിന്നു ഒരു ഗാഢനിദ്ര വന്നു; ഭീതിയും അന്ധതമസ്സും അവന്റെ മേൽ വീണു.

English: And he said unto Abram, Know certainly that your seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not their's, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

Malayalam: അപ്പോൾ അവൻ അബ്രാമിനോടു: നിന്റെ സന്തതി സ്വന്തമല്ലാത്ത ദേശത്തു നാനൂറു സംവത്സരം പ്രവാസികളായിരുന്നു ആ ദേശക്കാരെ സേവിക്കും; അവർ അവരെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കുമെന്നു നീ അറിഞ്ഞുകൊൾക.

English: And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ അവർ സേവിക്കുന്ന ജാതിയെ ഞാൻ വിധിക്കും; അതിന്റെ ശേഷം അവർ വളരെ സമ്പത്തോടുംകൂടെ പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോരും.

English: And you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried in a good old age.

Malayalam: നീയോ സമാധാനത്തോടെ നിന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു ചേരും; നല്ല വാർദ്ധക്യത്തിൽ അടക്കപ്പെടും.

English: But in the fourth generation they shall come here again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.

Malayalam: നാലാം തലമുറക്കാർ ഇവിടേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരും; അമോർയ്യരുടെ അക്രമം ഇതുവരെ തികഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

English: And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.

Malayalam: സൂര്യൻ അസ്തമിച്ചു ഇരുട്ടായശേഷം ഇതാ, പുകയുന്ന ഒരു തീച്ചൂള; ആ ഭാഗങ്ങളുടെ നടുവെ ജ്വലിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പന്തം കടന്നുപോയി.

English: In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto your seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

Malayalam: അന്നു യഹോവ അബ്രാമിനോടു ഒരു നിയമം ചെയ്തു: നിന്റെ സന്തതിക്കു ഞാൻ മിസ്രയീംനദി തുടങ്ങി ഫ്രാത്ത് നദിയായ മഹാനദിവരെയുള്ള ഈ ദേശത്തെ,

English: The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites,

Malayalam: കേന്യർ, കെനിസ്യർ, കദ്മോന്യർ, ഹിത്യർ,

English: And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims,

Malayalam: പെറിസ്യർ, രെഫായീമ്യർ, അമോർയ്യർ,

English: And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.

Malayalam: കനാന്യർ, ഗിർഗ്ഗശ്യർ, യെബൂസ്യർ എന്നിവരുടെ ദേശത്തെ തന്നേ, തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.
