Genesis 46

English: And Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beersheba, and offered sacrifices unto the God of his father Isaac.

Malayalam: അനന്തരം യിസ്രായേൽ തനിക്കുള്ള സകലവുമായി യാത്ര പുറപ്പെട്ടു ബേർ-ശേബയിൽ എത്തി തന്റെ പിതാവായ യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു യാഗം കഴിച്ചു.

English: And God spoke unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I.

Malayalam: ദൈവം യിസ്രായേലിനോടു രാത്രി ദർശനങ്ങളിൽ: യാക്കോബേ, യാക്കോബേ എന്നു വിളിച്ചതിന്നു ഞാൻ ഇതാ എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And he said, I am God, the God of your father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of you a great nation:

Malayalam: അപ്പോൾ അവൻ: ഞാൻ ദൈവം ആകുന്നു; നിന്റെ പിതാവിന്റെ ദൈവം തന്നേ; മിസ്രയീമിലേക്കു പോകുവാൻ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; അവിടെ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വലിയ ജാതിയാക്കും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

English: I will go down with you into Egypt; and I will also surely bring you up again: and Joseph shall put his hand upon yours eyes.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ നിന്നോടുകൂടെ മിസ്രയീമിലേക്കു പോരും; ഞാൻ നിന്നെ മടക്കി വരുത്തും; യോസേഫ് സ്വന്തകൈകൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ കണ്ണു അടെക്കും എന്നും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

English: And Jacob rose up from Beersheba: and the sons of Israel carried Jacob their father, and their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him.

Malayalam: പിന്നെ യാക്കോബ് ബേർ-ശേബയിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ അപ്പനായ യാക്കോബിനെ കയറ്റുവാൻ ഫറവോൻ അയച്ച രഥങ്ങളിൽ അവനെയും തങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളെയും ഭാര്യമാരെയും കയറ്റി കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

English: And they took their cattle, and their goods, which they had got in the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt, Jacob, and all his seed with him:

Malayalam: തങ്ങളുടെ ആടുമാടുകളെയും കനാൻ ദേശത്തുവെച്ചു സമ്പാദിച്ച സമ്പത്തുകളെയും കൊണ്ടുപോയി; അങ്ങനെ യാക്കോബും സന്തതികളുമെല്ലാം മിസ്രയീമിൽ എത്തി.

English: His sons, and his sons' sons with him, his daughters, and his sons' daughters, and all his seed brought he with him into Egypt.

Malayalam: അവൻ തന്റെ പുത്രിപുത്രന്മാരെയും പൌത്രിപൌത്രന്മാരെയും തന്റെ സന്തതികളെയൊക്കെയും കൂട്ടി മിസ്രയീമിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

English: And these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt, Jacob and his sons: Reuben, Jacob's firstborn.

Malayalam: മിസ്രയീമിൽ വന്ന യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ പേരുകൾ ആവിതു: യാക്കോബും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും; യാക്കോബിന്റെ ആദ്യജാതനായ രൂബേൻ.

English: And the sons of Reuben; Hanoch, and Phallu, and Hezron, and Carmi.

Malayalam: രൂബേന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഹാനോക്, ഫല്ലൂ, ഹെസ്രോൻ, കർമ്മി.

English: And the sons of Simeon; Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman.

Malayalam: ശിമെയോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: യെമൂവേൽ, യാമീൻ, ഓഹദ്, യാഖീൻ, സോഹർ, കനാന്യക്കാരത്തിയുടെ മകനായ ശൌൽ.

English: And the sons of Levi; Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

Malayalam: ലേവിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഗേർശോൻ, കഹാത്ത്, മെരാരി.

English: And the sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah, and Pharez, and Zarah: but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan. And the sons of Pharez were Hezron and Hamul.

Malayalam: യെഹൂദയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഏർ, ഓനാൻ, ശേലാ, പേരെസ്, സേരഹ്; എന്നാൽ ഏർ ഓനാൻ എന്നിവർ കനാൻ ദേശത്തുവെച്ചു മരിച്ചുപോയി. പേരെസിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ:

English: And the sons of Issachar; Tola, and Phuvah, and Job, and Shimron.

Malayalam: ഹെസ്രോൻ, ഹാമൂൽ. യിസ്സാഖാരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: തോലാ, പുവ്വാ, യോബ്, ശിമ്രോൻ.

English: And the sons of Zebulun; Sered, and Elon, and Jahleel.

Malayalam: സെബൂലൂന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: സേരെദ്, ഏലോൻ, യഹ്ളെയേൽ.

English: These be the sons of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob in Padanaram, with his daughter Dinah: all the souls of his sons and his daughters were thirty and three.

Malayalam: ഇവർ ലേയയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ; അവൾ അവരെയും യാക്കോബിന്റെ മകളായ ദീനയെയും അവന്നു പദ്ദൻ-അരാമിൽവെച്ചു പ്രസവിച്ചു; അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും പുത്രിമാരും എല്ലാം കൂടെ മുപ്പത്തുമൂന്നു പേർ ആയിരുന്നു.

English: And the sons of Gad; Ziphion, and Haggi, Shuni, and Ezbon, Eri, and Arodi, and Areli.

Malayalam: ഗാദിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: സിഫ്യോൻ, ഹഗ്ഗീ, ശൂനീ, എസ്ബോൻ, ഏരി, അരോദീ, അരേലീ.

English: And the sons of Asher; Jimnah, and Ishuah, and Isui, and Beriah, and Serah their sister: and the sons of Beriah; Heber, and Malchiel.

Malayalam: ആശേരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: യിമ്നാ, യിശ്വാ, യിശ്വീ, ബെരീയാ; ഇവരുടെ സഹോദരി സേരഹ്. ബെരീയാവിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ:

English: These are the sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to Leah his daughter, and these she bare unto Jacob, even sixteen souls.

Malayalam: ഹേബെർ, മൽക്കീയേൽ. ഇവർ ലാബാൻ തന്റെ മകളായ ലേയെക്കു കൊടുത്ത സില്പയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ; അവൾ യാക്കോബിന്നു ഈ പതിനാറു പേരെ പ്രസവിച്ചു.

English: The sons of Rachel Jacob's wife; Joseph, and Benjamin.

Malayalam: യാക്കോബിന്റെ ഭാര്യയായ റാഹേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ:

English: And unto Joseph in the land of Egypt were born Manasseh and Ephraim, which Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On bare unto him.

Malayalam: യോസേഫ്, ബെന്യാമീൻ. യോസേഫിന്നു മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു മനശ്ശെയും എഫ്രയീമും ജനിച്ചു; അവരെ ഓനിലെ പുരോഹിതനായ പോത്തിഫേറയുടെ മകളായ ആസ്നത്ത് അവന്നു പ്രസവിച്ചു.

English: And the sons of Benjamin were Belah, and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, Ehi, and Rosh, Muppim, and Huppim, and Ard.

Malayalam: ബെന്യാമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ബേല, ബേഖെർ, അശ്ബെൽ, ഗേരാ, നാമാൻ, ഏഹീ, രോശ്, മുപ്പീം, ഹുപ്പീം, ആരെദ്.

English: These are the sons of Rachel, which were born to Jacob: all the souls were fourteen.

Malayalam: ഇവർ റാഹേൽ യാക്കോബിന്നു പ്രസവിച്ച പുത്രന്മാർ; എല്ലാംകൂടെ പതിന്നാലു പേർ.

English: And the sons of Dan; Hushim.

Malayalam: ദാന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ ഹൂശീം.

English: And the sons of Naphtali; Jahzeel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shillem.

Malayalam: നഫ്താലിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: യഹസേൽ, ഗൂനീ, യേസെർ, ശില്ലോ.

English: These are the sons of Bilhah, which Laban gave unto Rachel his daughter, and she bare these unto Jacob: all the souls were seven.

Malayalam: ഇവർ ലാബാൻ തന്റെ മകളായ റാഹേലിന്നു കൊടുത്ത ബിൽഹയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ; അവൾ യാക്കോബിന്നു ഇവരെ പ്രസവിച്ചു; എല്ലാംകൂടെ ഏഴുപേർ.

English: All the souls that came with Jacob into Egypt, which came out of his loins, besides Jacob's sons' wives, all the souls were threescore and six;

Malayalam: യാക്കോബിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ ഭാര്യമാരെ കൂടാതെ അവന്റെ കടിപ്രദേശത്തുനിന്നു ജനിച്ചവരായി അവനോടുകൂടെ മിസ്രയീമിൽ വന്നവർ ആകെ അറുപത്താറു പേർ.

English: And the sons of Joseph, which were born him in Egypt, were two souls: all the souls of the house of Jacob, which came into Egypt, were threescore and ten.

Malayalam: യോസേഫിന്നു മിസ്രയീമിൽവെച്ചു ജനിച്ച പുത്രന്മാർ രണ്ടുപേർ; മിസ്രയീമിൽ വന്നരായ യാക്കോബിന്റെ കുടുംബം ആകെ എഴുപതു പേർ.

English: And he sent Judah before him unto Joseph, to direct his face unto Goshen; and they came into the land of Goshen.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ ഗോശെനിലേക്കു യോസേഫ് തനിക്കു വഴി കാണിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ യെഹൂദയെ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ മുമ്പിട്ടു അയച്ചു; ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ ഗോശെൻ ദേശത്തു എത്തി.

English: And Joseph made ready his chariot, and went up to meet Israel his father, to Goshen, and presented himself unto him; and he fell on his neck, and wept on his neck a good while.

Malayalam: യോസേഫ് രഥം കെട്ടിച്ചു അപ്പനായ യിസ്രായേലിനെ എതിരേല്പാൻ ഗോശെനിലേക്കു പോയി, അവനെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ കെട്ടിപ്പിടിച്ചു ഏറെനേരം കരഞ്ഞു.

English: And Israel said unto Joseph, Now let me die, since I have seen your face, because you are yet alive.

Malayalam: യിസ്രായെൽ യോസേഫിനോടു: നീ ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്റെ മുഖം കണ്ടറിഞ്ഞതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ തന്നേ മരിച്ചാലും വേണ്ടതില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And Joseph said unto his brethren, and unto his father's house, I will go up, and show Pharaoh, and say unto him, My brethren, and my father's house, which were in the land of Canaan, are come unto me;

Malayalam: പിന്നെ യോസേഫ് സഹോദരന്മാരോടും അപ്പന്റെ കുടുംബത്തോടും പറഞ്ഞതു: ഞാൻ ചെന്നു ഫറവോനോടു: കനാൻ ദേശത്തുനിന്നു എന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരും അപ്പന്റെ കുടുംബവും എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അറിയിക്കും.

English: And the men are shepherds, for their trade has been to feed cattle; and they have brought their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have.

Malayalam: അവർ ഇടയന്മാർ ആകുന്നു; കന്നുകാലികളെ മേയക്കുന്നതു അവരുടെ തൊഴിൽ; അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ആടുകളെയും കന്നുകാലികളെയും തങ്ങൾക്കുള്ളതൊക്കെയും കൊണ്ടുവന്നിട്ടുണ്ടു എന്നു അവനോടു പറയും.

English: And it shall come to pass, when Pharaoh shall call you, and shall say, What is your occupation?

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു ഫറവോൻ നിങ്ങളെ വിളിച്ചു: നിങ്ങളുടെ തൊഴിൽ എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിക്കുമ്പോൾ:

English: That all of you shall say, Your servants' trade has been about cattle from our youth even until now, both we, and also our fathers: that all of you may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd is an abomination unto the Egyptians.

Malayalam: അടിയങ്ങൾ ബാല്യംമുതൽ ഇന്നുവരെയും, ഞങ്ങളും ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരും ഗോപാലകന്മാരാകുന്നു എന്നു പറവിൻ; എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഗോശെനിൽ പാർപ്പാൻ സംഗതിയാകും; ഇടയന്മാരെല്ലാം മിസ്രയീമ്യർക്കു വെറുപ്പല്ലോ.
