Isaiah 57

English: The righteous perishes, and no man lays it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

Malayalam: നീതിമാൻ നശിക്കുന്നു; ആരും അതു ഗണ്യമാക്കുന്നില്ല; ഭക്തന്മാരും കഴിഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നു; നീതിമാൻ അനർ‍ത്ഥത്തിന്നു മുമ്പെ കഴിഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നു എന്നു ആരും ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നില്ല.

English: He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.

Malayalam: അവൻ സമാധാനത്തിലേക്കു പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നു; നേരായി നടക്കുന്നവരൊക്കെയും താന്താന്റെ കിടക്കയിൽ വിശ്രാമം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.

English: But draw near here, all of you sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore.

Malayalam: ക്ഷുദ്രക്കാരത്തിയുടെ മക്കളേ, വ്യഭിചാരിയുടെയും വേശ്യയുടെയും സന്തതിയേ; ഇങ്ങോട്ടു അടുത്തുവരുവിൻ.

English: Against whom do all of you sport yourselves? against whom make all of you a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are all of you not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ ആരെയാകുന്നു കളിയാക്കുന്നതു? ആരുടെനേരെയാകുന്നു നിങ്ങൾ വായ്പിളർ‍ന്നു നാക്കു നീട്ടുന്നതു? നിങ്ങൾ അതിക്രമക്കാരും വ്യാജസന്തതിയും അല്ലയോ?

English: Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clefts of the rocks?

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ കരുവേലങ്ങൾക്കരികത്തും ഓരോ പച്ചമരത്തിൻ ‍കീഴിലും ജ്വലിച്ചു, പാറപ്പിളർ‍പ്പുകൾക്കു താഴെ തോട്ടുവക്കത്തുവെച്ചു കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ അറുക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

English: Among the smooth stones of the stream is your portion; they, they are your lot: even to them have you poured a drink offering, you have offered a food offering. Should I receive comfort in these?

Malayalam: തോട്ടിലെ മിനുസമുള്ള കല്ലു നിന്റെ പങ്കു; അതു തന്നേ നിന്റെ ഓഹരി; അതിന്നല്ലോ നീ പാനീയ ബലി പകർ‍ന്നു ഭോജനബലി അർ‍പ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതു? ഈ വക കണ്ടിട്ടു ഞാൻ ക്ഷമിച്ചിരിക്കുമോ?

English: Upon a lofty and high mountain have you set your bed: even thither went you up to offer sacrifice.

Malayalam: പൊക്കവും ഉയരവും ഉള്ള മലയിൽ നീ നിന്റെ കിടക്ക വിരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവിടേക്കു തന്നേ നീ ബലികഴിപ്പാൻ കയറിച്ചെന്നു.

English: Behind the doors also and the posts have you set up your remembrance: for you have discovered yourself to another than me, and are gone up; you have enlarged your bed, and made you a covenant with them; you loved their bed where you saw it.

Malayalam: കതകിന്നും കട്ടിളെക്കും പുറകിൽ നീ നിന്റെ അടയാളം വെച്ചു, നീ എന്നെ വിട്ടു ചെന്നു മറ്റുള്ളവർ‍ക്കു നിന്നെത്തന്നേ അനാവൃതയാക്കി കയറി നിന്റെ കിടക്ക വിസ്താരമാക്കി അവരുമായി ഉടമ്പടിചെയ്തു അവരുടെ ശയനം കൊതിച്ചു ആംഗ്യം നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

English: And you went to the king with ointment, and did increase your perfumes, and did send your messengers far off, and did debase yourself even unto hell.

Malayalam: നീ തൈലവുംകൊണ്ടു മോലെക്കിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു, നിന്റെ പരിമളവർ‍ഗ്ഗം ധാരാളം ചെലവു ചെയ്തു, നിന്റെ ദൂതന്മാരെ ദൂരത്തയച്ചു പാതാളത്തോളം ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു.

English: You are wearied in the greatness of your way; yet said you not, There is no hope: you have found the life of yours hand; therefore you were not grieved.

Malayalam: വഴിയുടെ ദൂരംകൊണ്ടു നീ തളർ‍ന്നുപോയിട്ടും അതു നിഷ്ഫലമെന്നു നീ പറഞ്ഞില്ല; നിന്റെ കൈവശം ജീവശക്തി കണ്ടതുകൊണ്ടു നിനക്കു ക്ഷീണം തോന്നിയില്ല.

English: And of whom have you been afraid or feared, that you have lied, and have not remembered me, nor laid it to your heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and you fear me not?

Malayalam: കപടം കാണിപ്പാനും എന്നെ ഓർ‍ക്കയോ കൂട്ടാക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യാതിരിപ്പാനും നീ ആരെയാകുന്നു ശങ്കിച്ചു ഭയപ്പെട്ടതു? ഞാൻ ബഹുകാലം മിണ്ടാതെ ഇരുന്നിട്ടല്ലയോ നീ എന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടാതിരിക്കുന്നതു?

English: I will declare your righteousness, and your works; for they shall not profit you.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ നീതി ഞാൻ വെളിച്ചത്താക്കും; നിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളോ നിനക്കു പ്രയോജനമാകയില്ല.

English: When you cry, let your companies deliver you; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that puts his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain;

Malayalam: നീ നിലവിളിക്കുമ്പോൾ നിന്റെ വിഗ്രഹസമൂഹം നിന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കട്ടെ; എന്നാൽ അവയെ ഒക്കെയും കാറ്റു പാറ്റിക്കൊണ്ടുപോകും; ഒരു ശ്വാസം അവയെ നീക്കിക്കളയും; എങ്കിലും എന്നെ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നവൻ ദേശത്തെ അവകാശമാക്കി എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപർ‍വ്വതത്തെ കൈവശമാക്കും.

English: And shall say, Cast all of you up, cast all of you up, prepare the way, take up the stumbling block out of the way of my people.

Malayalam: നികത്തുവിൻ‍, നികത്തുവിൻ‍, വഴി ഒരുക്കുവിൻ‍; എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ വഴിയിൽ നിന്നു ഇടർ‍ച്ച നീക്കിക്കളവിൻ എന്നു അവൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: For thus says the high and lofty One that inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Malayalam: ഉന്നതനും ഉയർ‍ന്നിരിക്കുന്നവനും ശാശ്വതവാസിയും പരിശുദ്ധൻ എന്നു നാമമുള്ളവനുമായവൻ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ ഉന്നതനും പരിശുദ്ധനുമായി വസിക്കുന്നു; താഴ്മയുള്ളവരുടെ മനസ്സിന്നും മനസ്താപമുള്ളവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്നും ചൈതന്യം വരുത്തുവാൻ മനസ്താപവും മനോവിനയവുമുള്ളവരോടു കൂടെയും വസിക്കുന്നു.

English: For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always angry: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ എന്നേക്കും വാദിക്കയില്ല; എല്ലായ്പോഴും കോപിക്കയുമില്ല; അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അവരുടെ ആത്മാവും ഞാൻ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ദേഹികളും എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നിന്നു ക്ഷയിച്ചു പോകുമല്ലോ.

English: For the iniquity of his covetousness was I angry, and stroke him: I hid me, and was angry, and he went on perversely in the way of his heart.

Malayalam: അവരുടെ അത്യാഗ്രഹത്തിന്റെ അകൃത്യംനിമിത്തം ഞാൻ കോപിച്ചു അവരെ അടിച്ചു; ഞാൻ കോപിച്ചു മുഖം മറെച്ചു; എന്നാറെ അവർ‍ തിരിഞ്ഞു തങ്ങൾക്കു തോന്നിയ വഴിയിൽ നടന്നു.

English: I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ അവരുടെ വഴികളെ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ അവരെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കും; ഞാൻ അവരെ നടത്തി അവർ‍ക്കു, അവരുടെ ദുഃഖിതന്മാർ‍ക്കു തന്നേ, വീണ്ടും ആശ്വാസം വരുത്തും;

English: I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, says the LORD; and I will heal him.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ അധരങ്ങളുടെ ഫലം സൃഷ്ടിക്കും; ദൂരസ്ഥന്നും സമീപസ്ഥന്നും സമാധാനം, സമാധാനം എന്നും ഞാൻ അവരെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കും എന്നും യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.

Malayalam: ദുഷ്ടന്മാരോ കലങ്ങിമറിയുന്ന കടൽപോലെയാകുന്നു; അതിന്നു അടങ്ങിയിരിപ്പാൻ കഴികയില്ല; അതിലെ വെള്ളം ചേറും ചെളിയും മേലോട്ടു തള്ളുന്നു.

English: There is no peace, says my God, to the wicked.

Malayalam: ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ‍ക്കു സമാധാനമില്ല എന്നു എന്റെ ദൈവം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
