Jeremiah 7

English: The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,

Malayalam: യഹോവയിങ്കൽനിന്നു യിരെമ്യാവിന്നുണ്ടായ അരുളപ്പാടു എന്തെന്നാൽ:

English: Stand in the gate of the LORD's house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the LORD, all you of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the LORD.

Malayalam: നീ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ വാതിൽക്കൽ നിന്നുകൊണ്ടു: യഹോവയെ നമസ്കരിപ്പാൻ ഈ വാതിലുകളിൽകൂടി കടക്കുന്നവരായ എല്ലാ യെഹൂദയുമായുള്ളോരേ, യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു കേൾപ്പിൻ എന്നീ വചനം വിളിച്ചു പറക.

English: Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.

Malayalam: യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നിങ്ങളുടെ നടപ്പും പ്രവൃത്തികളും നന്നാക്കുവിൻ; എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ഈ സ്ഥലത്തു വസിക്കുമാറാക്കും.

English: Trust all of you not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, are these.

Malayalam: യഹോവയുടെ മന്ദിരം, യഹോവയുടെ മന്ദിരം, യഹോവയുടെ മന്ദിരം എന്നിങ്ങനെയുള്ള വ്യാജവാക്കുകളിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കരുതു.

English: For if all of you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings; if all of you thoroughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour;

Malayalam: നിങ്ങളുടെ നടപ്പും പ്രവൃത്തികളും നിങ്ങൾ വാസ്തവമായി നന്നാക്കുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ, നിങ്ങൾ തമ്മിൽതമ്മിൽ ന്യായം നടത്തുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ,

English: If all of you oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt:

Malayalam: പരദേശിയെയും അനാഥനെയും വിധവയെയും പീഡിപ്പിക്കാതെയും കുറ്റമില്ലാത്ത രക്തം ഈ സ്ഥലത്തു ചിന്നിക്കാതെയും നിങ്ങൾക്കു ആപത്തിന്നായി അന്യദേവന്മാരോടു ചെന്നു ചേരാതെയും ഇരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ,

English: Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർക്കു കൊടുത്ത ദേശമായ ഈ സ്ഥലത്തു നിങ്ങളെ എന്നും എന്നേക്കും വസിക്കുമാറാക്കും.

English: Behold, all of you trust in lying words, that cannot profit.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ പ്രയോജനമില്ലാത്ത വ്യാജവാക്കുകളിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു.

English: Will all of you steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom all of you know not;

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ മോഷ്ടിക്കയും കുലചെയ്കയും വ്യഭിചരിക്കയും കള്ളസ്സത്യം ചെയ്കയും ബാലിന്നു ധൂപം കാട്ടുകയും നിങ്ങൾ അറിയാത്ത ദേവന്മാരോടു ചെന്നു ചേരുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?

Malayalam: പിന്നെ വന്നു എന്റെ നാമം വിളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ ആലയത്തിൽ എന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നിന്നുകൊണ്ടു: ഞങ്ങൾ രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറയുന്നതു ഈ മ്ളേച്ഛതകളൊക്കെയും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേയോ?

English: Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, says the LORD.

Malayalam: എന്റെ നാമം വിളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ ആലയം കള്ളന്മാരുടെ ഗുഹ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾക്കു തോന്നുന്നുവോ? എനിക്കും അതു അങ്ങിനെ തന്നേ തോന്നുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: But go all of you now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ ആദിയിൽ എന്റെ നാമം വിളിച്ചിരുന്ന ശീലോവിൽ ഉള്ള എന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലത്തു നിങ്ങൾ ചെന്നു എന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദുഷ്ടതനിമിത്തം ഞാൻ അതിനോടു ചെയ്തതു നോക്കുവിൻ!

English: And now, because all of you have done all these works, says the LORD, and I spoke unto you, rising up early and speaking, but all of you heard not; and I called you, but all of you answered not;

Malayalam: ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ഈ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ ഒക്കെയും ചെയ്കയും ഞാൻ അതികാലത്തും ഇടവിടാതെയും നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിച്ചുവന്നിട്ടും നിങ്ങൾ കേൾക്കാതിരിക്കയും ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ വിളിച്ചിട്ടും നിങ്ങൾ ഉത്തരം പറയാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്കകൊണ്ടു,

English: Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein all of you trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.

Malayalam: എന്റെ നാമം വിളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതും നിങ്ങൾ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നതുമായ ഈ ആലയത്തോടും നിങ്ങൾക്കും നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർക്കും ഞാൻ തന്നിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ സ്ഥലത്തോടും ശീലോവോടു ചെയ്തതുപോലെ ഞാൻ ചെയ്യും.

English: And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങളുടെ സകലസഹോദരന്മാരുമായ എഫ്രയീംസന്തതിയെ ഒക്കെയും ഞാൻ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളെയും എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു തള്ളിക്കളയും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: Therefore pray not you for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear you.

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു നീ ഈ ജനത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടി പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കരുതു; അവർക്കു വേണ്ടി യാചനയും പ്രാർത്ഥനയും കഴിക്കരുതു; എന്നോടു പക്ഷവാദം ചെയ്കയുമരുതു; ഞാൻ നിന്റെ അപേക്ഷ കേൾക്കയില്ല.

English: See you not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

Malayalam: യെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങളിലും യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ വീഥികളിലും അവർ ചെയ്യുന്നതു നീ കാണുന്നില്ലയോ?

English: The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.

Malayalam: എനിക്കു കോപം വരത്തക്കവണ്ണം അവർ ആകാശരാജ്ഞിക്കു അപ്പം ചുടേണ്ടതിന്നും അന്യദേവന്മാർക്കു പാനീയബലി പകരേണ്ടതിന്നും മക്കൾ വിറകു പെറുക്കുകയും അപ്പന്മാർ തീ കത്തിക്കയും സ്ത്രീകൾ മാവു കുഴെക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: Do they provoke me to anger? says the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ അവർ എന്നെയോ മുഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നതു? സ്വന്തലജ്ജെക്കായിട്ടു തങ്ങളെ തന്നേയല്ലയോ എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched.

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഇതാ, എന്റെ കോപവും എന്റെ ക്രോധവും ഈ സ്ഥലത്തു മനുഷ്യന്റെ മേലും മൃഗത്തിന്മേലും പറമ്പിലെ വൃക്ഷങ്ങളിന്മേലും നിലത്തിലെ വിളവിന്മേലും ചൊരിയും; അതു കെട്ടുപോകാതെ ജ്വലിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും.

English: Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh.

Malayalam: യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നിങ്ങൾ ഹനനയാഗങ്ങളോടു ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളും കൂട്ടി മാംസം തിന്നുവിൻ.

English: For I spoke not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:

Malayalam: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നാളിൽ ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചാകട്ടെ ഹനനയാഗങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചാകട്ടെ അവരോടു സംസാരിക്കയോ കല്പിക്കയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല.

English: But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and all of you shall be my people: and walk all of you in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

Malayalam: എന്റെ വാക്കു കേട്ടനുസരിപ്പിൻ; എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ദൈവമായും നിങ്ങൾ എനിക്കു ജനമായും ഇരിക്കും; നിങ്ങൾക്കു നന്നായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള വഴികളിലൊക്കെയും നടപ്പിൻ എന്നീ കാര്യമത്രേ ഞാൻ അവരോടു കല്പിച്ചതു.

English: But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ അവർ അനുസരിക്കയോ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കയോ ചെയ്യാതെ തങ്ങളുടെ ദുഷ്ടഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ ആലോചനയിലും ദുശ്ശാഠ്യത്തിലും നടന്നു മുമ്പോട്ടല്ല പുറകോട്ടു തന്നേ പൊയ്ക്കളഞ്ഞു.

English: Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:

Malayalam: നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ട നാൾമുതൽ ഇന്നുവരെയും ഞാൻ അതികാലത്തും ഇടവിടാതെയും പ്രവാചകന്മാരായ എന്റെ സകലദാസന്മാരെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ പറഞ്ഞയച്ചുവന്നു.

English: Yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers.

Malayalam: എന്നിട്ടും എന്നെ കേട്ടനുസരിക്കയോ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കയോ ചെയ്യാതെ അവർ ദുശ്ശാഠ്യം കാട്ടി തങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെക്കാൾ അധികം ദോഷം ചെയ്തു.

English: Therefore you shall speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to you: you shall also call unto them; but they will not answer you.

Malayalam: ഈ വചനങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും നീ അവരോടു പറയുമ്പോൾ അവർ നിനക്കു ചെവി തരികയില്ല; നീ അവരെ വിളിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവർ ഉത്തരം പറകയില്ല;

English: But you shall say unto them, This is a nation that obeys not the voice of the LORD their God, nor receives correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതു: തങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ വാക്കു കേട്ടനുസരിക്കയോ ഉപദേശം കൈക്കൊൾകയോ ചെയ്യാത്ത ജാതിയാകുന്നു ഇതു; വിശ്വസ്തത നശിച്ചു അവരുടെ വായിൽനിന്നും നിർമ്മൂലമായിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Cut off yours hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on high places; for the LORD has rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ തലമുടി കത്രിച്ചു എറിഞ്ഞുകളക; മൊട്ടക്കുന്നിന്മേൽ കയറി വിലാപം കഴിക്ക; യഹോവ തന്റെ ക്രോധത്തിന്റെ സന്തതിയെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, says the LORD: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to pollute it.

Malayalam: യെഹൂദാപുത്രന്മാർ എനിക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്തു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു. എന്റെ നാമം വിളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ആലയത്തെ മലിനമാക്കുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ മ്രേച്ഛവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ അതിൽ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart.

Malayalam: തങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും അഗ്നിയിൽ ഇട്ടു ദഹിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവർ ബെൻ ഹിന്നോംതാഴ്വരയിലുള്ള തോഫെത്തിലെ പൂജാഗിരികളെ പണിതിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു ഞാൻ കല്പിച്ചതല്ല; എന്റെ മനസ്സിൽ തോന്നിയതുമല്ല.

English: Therefore, behold, the days come, says the LORD, that it shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet, till there be no place.

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു ഇനി അതിന്നു തോഫെത്ത് എന്നും ബെൻ ഹിന്നോംതാഴ്വര എന്നും പേരു പറയാതെ കുലത്താഴ്വര എന്നു പേർ വിളിക്കുന്ന കാലം വരും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു. വേറെ സ്ഥലം ഇല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവർ തോഫെത്തിൽ ശവം അടക്കും.

English: And the carcasses of this people shall be food for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall frighten them away.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ ഈ ജനത്തിന്റെ ശവങ്ങൾ ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികൾക്കും ഭൂമിയിലെ കാട്ടുമൃഗങ്ങൾക്കും ഇരയായിത്തീരും; ആരും അവയെ ആട്ടിക്കളകയുമില്ല.

English: Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of delight, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: for the land shall be desolate.

Malayalam: അന്നു ഞാൻ യെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും യെരൂശലേം വീഥികളിൽനിന്നും ആനന്ദഘോഷവും സന്തോഷധ്വനിയും മണവാളന്റെ സ്വരവും മണവാട്ടിയുടെ സ്വരവും നീക്കിക്കളയും; ദേശമോ ശൂന്യമായിക്കിടക്കും.
