Job 32

English: So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ ഇയ്യോബ് തനിക്കുതന്നേ നീതിമാനായ്തോന്നിയതുകൊണ്ടു ഈ മൂന്നു പുരുഷന്മാർ അവനോടു വാദിക്കുന്നതു മതിയാക്കി.

English: Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.

Malayalam: അപ്പോൾ രാംവംശത്തിൽ ബൂസ്യനായ ബറഖേലിന്റെ മകൻ എലീഹൂവിന്റെ കോപം ജ്വലിച്ചു; ദൈവത്തെക്കാൾ തന്നെത്താൻ നീതീകരിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു ഇയ്യോബിന്റെ നേരെ അവന്റെ കോപം ജ്വലിച്ചു.

English: Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ മൂന്നു സ്നേഹിതന്മാർ ഇയ്യോബിന്റെ കുറ്റം തെളിയിപ്പാൻ തക്ക ഉത്തരം കാണായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവരുടെ നേരെയും അവന്റെ കോപം ജ്വലിച്ചു.

English: Now Elihu had waited till Job had spoken, because they were elder than he.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ അവർ തന്നെക്കാൾ പ്രായമുള്ളവരാകകൊണ്ടു എലീഹൂ ഇയ്യോബിനോടു സംസാരിപ്പാൻ താമസിച്ചു.

English: When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, then his wrath was kindled.

Malayalam: ആ മൂന്നു പുരുഷന്മാർക്കും ഉത്തരം മുട്ടിപ്പോയി എന്നു കണ്ടിട്ടു എലീഹൂവിന്റെ കോപം ജ്വലിച്ചു.

English: And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and all of you are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not show you mine opinion.

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ ബൂസ്യനായ ബറഖേലിന്റെ മകൻ എലീഹൂ പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ: ഞാൻ പ്രായം കുറഞ്ഞവനും നിങ്ങൾ വൃദ്ധന്മാരും ആകുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ ശങ്കിച്ചു, അഭിപ്രായം പറവാൻ തുനിഞ്ഞില്ല.

English: I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.

Malayalam: പ്രായം സംസാരിക്കയും വയോധിക്യം ജ്ഞാനം ഉപദേശിക്കയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ എന്നിങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ വിചാരിച്ചു.

English: But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty gives them understanding.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ മനുഷ്യരിൽ ആത്മാവുണ്ടല്ലോ; സർവ്വശക്തന്റെ ശ്വാസം അവർക്കു വിവേകം നല്കുന്നു.

English: Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

Malayalam: പ്രായം ചെന്നവരത്രേ ജ്ഞാനികൾ എന്നില്ല; വൃദ്ധന്മാരത്രേ ന്യായബോധമുള്ളവർ എന്നുമില്ല.

English: Therefore I said, Hearken to me; I also will show mine opinion.

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ പറയുന്നതു: എന്റെ വാക്കു കേട്ടുകൊൾവിൻ; ഞാനും എന്റെ അഭിപ്രായം പ്രസ്താവിക്കാം.

English: Behold, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasons, whilst all of you searched out what to say.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ വാക്കു ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ തക്ക മൊഴികൾ ആരാഞ്ഞു കണ്ടെത്തുമോ എന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉപദേശങ്ങൾക്കു ഞാൻ ചെവികൊടുത്തു.

English: Yea, I attended unto you, and, behold, there was none of you that convinced Job, or that answered his words:

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞതിന്നു ഞാൻ ശ്രദ്ധകൊടുത്തു; ഇയ്യോബിന്നു ബോധം വരുത്തുവാനോ അവന്റെ മൊഴികൾക്കുത്തരം പറവാനോ നിങ്ങളിൽ ആരുമില്ല.

English: Lest all of you should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusts him down, not man.

Malayalam: ഞങ്ങൾ ജ്ഞാനം കണ്ടുപിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു: മനുഷ്യനല്ല, ദൈവമത്രേ അവനെ ജയിക്കും എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറയരുതു.

English: Now he has not directed his words against me: neither will I answer him with your speeches.

Malayalam: എന്റെ നേരെയല്ലല്ലോ അവൻ തന്റെ മൊഴികളെ പ്രയോഗിച്ചതു; നിങ്ങളുടെ വചനങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അവനോടു ഉത്തരം പറകയുമില്ല.

English: They were amazed, they answered no more: they left off speaking.

Malayalam: അവർ പരിഭ്രമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ഉത്തരം പറയുന്നില്ല; അവർക്കു വാക്കു മുട്ടിപ്പോയി.

English: When I had waited, (for they spoke not, but stood still, and answered no more;)

Malayalam: അവർ ഉത്തരം പറയാതെ വെറുതെ നില്ക്കുന്നു; അവർ സംസാരിക്കായ്കയാൽ ഞാൻ കാത്തിരിക്കേണമോ?

English: I said, I will answer also my part, I also will show mine opinion.

Malayalam: എനിക്കു പറവാനുള്ളതു ഞാനും പറയും; എന്റെ അഭിപ്രായം ഞാൻ പ്രസ്താവിക്കും.

English: For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constrains me.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ മൊഴികൾകൊണ്ടു തിങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ഉള്ളിലെ ആത്മാവു എന്നെ നിർബ്ബന്ധിക്കുന്നു.

English: Behold, my belly is as wine which has no vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles.

Malayalam: എന്റെ ഉള്ളം അടെച്ചുവെച്ച വീഞ്ഞുപോലെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; അതു പുതിയ തുരുത്തികൾപോലെ പൊട്ടു മാറായിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.

Malayalam: എന്റെ വിമ്മിഷ്ടം തീരേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ സംസാരിക്കും; എന്റെ അധരം തുറന്നു ഉത്തരം പറയും.

English: Let me not, I pray you, accept any man's person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ ഒരുത്തന്റെയും പക്ഷം പിടിക്കയില്ല; ആരോടും മുഖസ്തുതി പറകയുമില്ല.

English: For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.

Malayalam: മുഖസ്തുതി പറവാൻ എനിക്കു അറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാ; അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്താൽ എന്റെ സ്രഷ്ടാവു ക്ഷണത്തിൽ എന്നെ നീക്കിക്കളയും.
