English: After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.

Malayalam: അതിന്റെ ശേഷം യേശു ഗലീലയിൽ സഞ്ചരിച്ചു; യെഹൂദന്മാർ അവനെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ അന്വേഷിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു യെഹൂദ്യയിൽ സഞ്ചരിപ്പാൻ അവന്നു മനസ്സില്ലായിരുന്നു.

English: Now the Jew's feast of tabernacles was at hand.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ കൂടാരപ്പെരുനാൾ അടുത്തിരുന്നു.

English: His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart behind, and go into Judaea, that your disciples also may see the works that you do.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർ അവനോടു: നീ ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രവൃത്തികളെ നിന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരും കാണേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇവിടം വിട്ടു യെഹൂദ്യയിലേക്കു പോക.

English: For there is no man that does any thing in secret, and he himself seeks to be known openly. If you do these things, show yourself to the world.

Malayalam: പ്രസിദ്ധൻ ആകുവാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവൻ ആരും രഹസ്യത്തിൽ ഒന്നും ചെയ്യുന്നില്ലല്ലോ; നീ ഇതു ചെയ്യുന്നു എങ്കിൽ ലോകത്തിന്നു നിന്നെത്തന്നേ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: For neither did his brethren believe in him.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരും അവനിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചില്ല.

English: Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is always ready.

Malayalam: യേശു അവരോടു: “എന്റെ സമയം ഇതുവരെ വന്നിട്ടില്ല; നിങ്ങൾക്കോ എല്ലയ്പോഴും സമയം തന്നേ.

English: The world cannot hate you; but me it hates, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങളെ പകെപ്പാൻ ലോകത്തിന്നു കഴിയുന്നതല്ല; എന്നാൽ അതിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ ദോഷമുള്ളവ എന്നു ഞാൻ അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അതു എന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നു.

English: Go all of you up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast: for my time is not yet full come.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ പെരുനാളിന്നു പോകുവിൻ; എന്റെ സമയം ഇതുവരെ വന്നിട്ടില്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ ഈ പെരുനാളിന്നു ഇപ്പോൾ പോകുന്നില്ല.

English: When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee.

Malayalam: ഇങ്ങനെ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞിട്ടു ഗലീലയിൽ തന്നേ പാർത്തു.

English: But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർ പെരുനാളിന്നു പോയശേഷം അവനും പരസ്യമായിട്ടല്ല രഹസ്യത്തിൽ എന്നപോലെ പോയി.

English: Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he?

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ യെഹൂദന്മാർ പെരുനാളിൽ: അവൻ എവിടെ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു അവനെ അന്വേഷിച്ചു.

English: And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceives the people.

Malayalam: പുരുഷാരത്തിൽ അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു വളരെ കുശുകുശുപ്പു ഉണ്ടായി; അവൻ നല്ലവൻ എന്നു ചിലരും അല്ല, അവൻ പുരുഷാരത്തെ വഞ്ചിക്കുന്നു എന്നു മറ്റു ചിലരും പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Nevertheless no man spoke openly of him for fear of the Jews.

Malayalam: എങ്കിലും യെഹൂദന്മാരെ പേടിച്ചിട്ടു ആരും പ്രസിദ്ധമായി അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിച്ചില്ല.

English: Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.

Malayalam: പെരുനാൾ പാതി കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം യേശു ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ ചെന്നു ഉപദേശിച്ചു.

English: And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knows this man letters, having never learned?

Malayalam: വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം ചെയ്യാത്ത ഇവൻ ശാസ്ത്രം അറിയുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു യെഹൂദന്മാർ പറഞ്ഞു ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെട്ടു.

English: Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

Malayalam: യേശു അവരോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതു: “എന്റെ ഉപദേശം എന്റേതല്ല, എന്നെ അയച്ചവന്റേതത്രേ.

English: If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം ചെയ്‍വാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നവൻ ഈ ഉപദേശം ദൈവത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ളതോ ഞാൻ സ്വയമായി പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നതോ എന്നു അറിയും.

English: He that speaks of himself seeks his own glory: but he that seeks his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

Malayalam: സ്വയമായി പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നവൻ സ്വന്തമഹത്വം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നു; തന്നെ അയച്ചവന്റെ മഹത്വം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവൻ സത്യവാൻ ആകുന്നു; നീതികേടു അവനിൽ ഇല്ല.

English: Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keeps the law? Why go all of you about to kill me?

Malayalam: മോശെ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ന്യായപ്രമാണം തന്നിട്ടില്ലയോ? എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളിൽ ആരും ന്യായപ്രമാണം ആചരിക്കുന്നില്ല. നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു?

English: The people answered and said, You have a devil: who goes about to kill you?

Malayalam: അതിന്നു പുരുഷാരം: നിനക്കു ഒരു ഭൂതം ഉണ്ടു; ആർ നിന്നെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and all of you all marvel.

Malayalam: യേശു അവരോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതു: “ഞാൻ ഒരു പ്രവൃത്തി ചെയ്തു; അതിങ്കൽ നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെടുന്നു.

English: Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and all of you on the sabbath day circumcise a man.

Malayalam: മോശെ നിങ്ങൾക്കു പരിച്ഛേദന നിയമിച്ചിരിക്കയാൽ--അതു മോശെയുടെ കാലത്തല്ല പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ കാലത്തത്രെ തുടങ്ങിയതു--നിങ്ങൾ ശബ്ബത്തിൽ മനുഷ്യനെ പരിച്ഛേദന കഴിക്കുന്നു.

English: If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are all of you angry at me, because I have made a man everything whole on the sabbath day?

Malayalam: മോശെയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്നു നീക്കം വരാതിരിപ്പാൻ ശബ്ബത്തിലും മനുഷ്യൻ പരിച്ഛേദന ഏല്ക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ ശബ്ബത്തിൽ ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെ മുഴുവനും സൌഖ്യമാക്കിയതിനാൽ എന്നോടു ഈർഷ്യപ്പെടുന്നുവോ?

English: Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

Malayalam: കാഴ്ചപ്രകാരം വിധിക്കരുതു; നീതിയുള്ള വിധി വിധിപ്പിൻ.

English: Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill?

Malayalam: യെരൂശലേമ്യരിൽ ചിലർ: അവർ കൊല്ലുവാൻ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവൻ ഇവൻ അല്ലയോ?

English: But, lo, he speaks boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ?

Malayalam: അവൻ ധൈര്യത്തോടെ സംസാരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ; അവർ അവനോടു ഒന്നും പറയുന്നില്ല; ഇവൻ ക്രിസ്തു ആകുന്നു എന്നു പ്രമാണികൾ യഥാർത്ഥമായി ഗ്രഹിച്ചുവോ?

English: Nevertheless we know this man whence he is: but when Christ comes, no man knows whence he is.

Malayalam: എങ്കിലും ഇവൻ എവിടെനിന്നു എന്നു നാം അറിയുന്നു; ക്രിസ്തു വരുമ്പോഴോ അവൻ എവിടെനിന്നു എന്നു ആരും അറികയില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, All of you both know me, and all of you know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom all of you know not.

Malayalam: ആകയാൽ യേശു ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ ഉപദേശിക്കുമ്പോൾ: “നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ അറിയുന്നു; ഞാൻ എവിടെനിന്നെന്നും അറിയുന്നു. ഞാൻ സ്വയമായിട്ടു വന്നവനല്ല, എന്നെ അയച്ചവൻ സത്യവാൻ ആകുന്നു; അവനെ നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നില്ല.

English: But I know him: for I am from him, and he has sent me.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ നിന്നു വന്നതുകൊണ്ടും അവൻ എന്നെ അയച്ചതുകൊണ്ടും ഞാൻ അവനെ അറിയുന്നു” എന്നു വിളിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞു.

English: Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come.

Malayalam: ആകയാൽ അവർ അവനെ പിടിപ്പാൻ അന്വേഷിച്ചു എങ്കിലും അവന്റെ നാഴിക വന്നിട്ടില്ലായ്കയാൽ ആരും അവന്റെ മേൽ കൈ വെച്ചില്ല.

English: And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ comes, will he do more miracles than these which this man has done?

Malayalam: പുരുഷാരത്തിൽ പലരും: ക്രിസ്തു വരുമ്പോൾ ഇവൻ ചെയ്തതിൽ അധികം അടയാളം ചെയ്യുമോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവനിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചു.

English: The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him.

Malayalam: പുരുഷാരം അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഇങ്ങനെ കുശുകുശുക്കുന്നു എന്നു പരീശന്മാർ കേട്ടാറെ അവനെ പിടിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരും പരീശന്മാരും ചേവകരെ അയച്ചു.

English: Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.

Malayalam: യേശുവോ: “ഞാൻ ഇനി കുറെനേരം നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; പിന്നെ എന്നെ അയച്ചവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പോകുന്നു.

English: All of you shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither all of you cannot come.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കും കണ്ടെത്തുകയില്ലതാനും; ഞാൻ ഇരിക്കുന്നേടത്തു നിങ്ങൾക്കു വരുവാൻ കഴികയുമില്ല ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Then said the Jews among themselves, Where will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?

Malayalam: അതു കേട്ടിട്ടു യെഹൂദന്മാർ: നാം കണ്ടെത്താതവണ്ണം ഇവൻ എവിടേക്കു പോകുവാൻ ഭാവിക്കുന്നു? യവനന്മാരുടെ ഇടയിൽ ചിതറിപ്പാർക്കുന്നവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ പോയി യവനരെ ഉപദേശിപ്പാൻ ഭാവമോ?

English: What manner of saying is this that he said, All of you shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither all of you cannot come?

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കും, എന്നെ കണ്ടെത്തുകയില്ലതാനും; ഞാൻ ഇരിക്കുന്നേടത്തു നിങ്ങൾക്കു വരുവാൻ കഴികയുമില്ല എന്നു ഈ പറഞ്ഞ വാക്കു എന്തു എന്നു തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ പറഞ്ഞു.

English: In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

Malayalam: ഉത്സവത്തിന്റെ മഹാദിനമായ ഒടുക്കത്തെ നാളിൽ യേശുനിന്നുകൊണ്ടു: “ദാഹിക്കുന്നവൻ എല്ലാം എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു കുടിക്കട്ടെ.

English: He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

Malayalam: എന്നിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ നിന്നു തിരുവെഴുത്തു പറയുന്നതുപോലെ ജീവജലത്തിന്റെ നദികൾ ഒഴുകും” എന്നു വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: (But this spoke he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Spirit was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Malayalam: അവൻ ഇതു തന്നിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവർക്കു ലഭിപ്പാനുള്ള ആത്മാവിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ആകുന്നു പറഞ്ഞതു; യേശു അന്നു തേജസ്കരിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടില്ലായ്കയാൽ ആത്മാവു വന്നിട്ടില്ലായിരുന്നു.

English: Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Truthfully this is the Prophet.

Malayalam: പുരുഷാരത്തിൽ പലരും ആ വാക്കു കേട്ടിട്ടു: ഇവൻ സാക്ഷാൽ ആ പ്രവാചകൻ ആകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee?

Malayalam: വേറെ ചിലർ: ഇവൻ ക്രിസ്തു തന്നേ എന്നും മറ്റു ചിലർ: ഗലീലയിൽ നിന്നോ ക്രിസ്തു വരുന്നതു?

English: Has not the scripture said, That Christ comes of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?

Malayalam: ദാവീദിന്റെ സന്തതിയിൽ നിന്നും ദാവീദ് പാർത്ത ഗ്രാമമായ ബേത്ത്ളേഹെമിൽനിന്നും ക്രിസ്തു വരുന്നു എന്നു തിരുവെഴുത്തു പറയുന്നില്ലയോ എന്നും പറഞ്ഞു.

English: So there was a division among the people because of him.

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ പുരുഷാരത്തിൽ അവനെച്ചൊല്ലി ഭിന്നത ഉണ്ടായി.

English: And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him.

Malayalam: അവരിൽ ചിലർ അവനെ പിടിപ്പാൻ ഭാവിച്ചു എങ്കിലും ആരും അവന്റെ മേൽ കൈവെച്ചില്ല.

English: Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have all of you not brought him?

Malayalam: ചേവകർ മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെയും പരീശന്മാരുടെയും അടുക്കൽ മടങ്ങിവന്നപ്പോൾ അവർ അവരോടു: നിങ്ങൾ അവനെ കൊണ്ടുവരാഞ്ഞതു എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു:

English: The officers answered, Never man spoke like this man.

Malayalam: ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ സംസാരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ആരും ഒരുനാളും സംസാരിച്ചിട്ടില്ല എന്നു ചേവകർ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Then answered them the Pharisees, Are all of you also deceived?

Malayalam: പരീശന്മാർ അവരോടു: നിങ്ങളും തെറ്റിപ്പോയോ?

English: Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him?

Malayalam: പ്രമാണികളിൽ ആകട്ടെ പരീശന്മാരിൽ ആകട്ടെ ആരെങ്കിലും അവനിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ?

English: But this people who knows not the law are cursed.

Malayalam: ന്യായപ്രമാണം അറിയാത്ത പുരുഷാരമോ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരാകുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Nicodemus says unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them,)

Malayalam: അവരിൽ ഒരുത്തനായി, മുമ്പെ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നിരുന്ന നിക്കൊദേമൊസ് അവരോടു:

English: Does our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he does?

Malayalam: ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ വാമൊഴി ആദ്യം കേട്ടു, അവൻ ചെയ്യുന്നതു ഇന്നതു എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടല്ലാതെ നമ്മുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം അവനെ വിധിക്കുന്നുവോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: They answered and said unto him, Are you also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee arises no prophet.

Malayalam: അവർ അവനോടു: നീയും ഗലീലക്കാരനോ? പരിശോധിച്ചുനോക്കുക; ഗലീലയിൽ നിന്നു പ്രവാചകൻ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കുന്നില്ലല്ലോ എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And every man went unto his own house.

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ പോയി.
