Matthew 21

English: And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,

Malayalam: അനന്തരം അവർ യെരൂശലേമിനോടു സമീപിച്ചു ഒലിവുമലയരികെ ബേത്ത്ഫഗയിൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ, യേശു രണ്ടു ശിഷ്യന്മാരെ അയച്ചു:

English: Saying unto them, Go into the village opposite to you, and immediately all of you shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.

Malayalam: “നിങ്ങൾക്കു എതിരെയുള്ള ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ ചെല്ലുവിൻ; അവിടെ കെട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പെൺകഴുതയെയും അതിന്റെ കുട്ടിയെയും നിങ്ങൾ ഉടനെ കാണും; അവയെ അഴിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുവരുവിൻ.

English: And if any man say ought unto you, all of you shall say, The Lord has need of them; and immediately he will send them.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങളോടു ആരാനും വല്ലതും പറഞ്ഞാൽ: കർത്താവിന്നു ഇവയെക്കൊണ്ടു ആവശ്യം ഉണ്ടു എന്നു പറവിൻ; തൽക്ഷണം അവൻ അവയെ അയയക്കും” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,

Malayalam: “സീയോൻ പുത്രിയോടു: ഇതാ, നിന്റെ രാജാവു സൌമ്യനായി കഴുതപ്പുറത്തും വാഹനമൃഗത്തിന്റെ കുട്ടിയുടെ പുറത്തും കയറി നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുന്നു എന്നു പറവിൻ ”

English: Tell all of you the daughter of Sion, Behold, your King comes unto you, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

Malayalam: എന്നിങ്ങനെ പ്രവാചകൻ മുഖാന്തരം അരുളിചെയ്തതിന്നു നിവൃത്തിവരുവാൻ ഇതു സംഭവിച്ചു.

English: And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,

Malayalam: ശിഷ്യന്മാർ പുറപ്പെട്ടു യേശു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ചെയ്തു,

English: And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.

Malayalam: കഴുതയെയും കുട്ടിയെയും കൊണ്ടുവന്നു തങ്ങളുടെ വസ്ത്രം അവയുടെ മേൽ ഇട്ടു; അവൻ കയറി ഇരുന്നു.

English: And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and scattered them in the way.

Malayalam: പുരുഷാരം മിക്കതും തങ്ങളുടെ വസ്ത്രം വഴിയിൽ വിരിച്ചു: മറ്റു ചിലർ വൃക്ഷങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നു കൊമ്പു വെട്ടി വഴിയിൽ വിതറി.

English: And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

Malayalam: മുന്നും പിന്നും നടന്ന പുരുഷാരം: ദാവീദ് പുത്രന്നു ഹോശന്നാ; കർത്താവിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ വരുന്നവൻ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവൻ; അത്യുന്നതങ്ങളിൽ ഹോശന്നാ എന്നു ആർത്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

English: And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?

Malayalam: അവൻ യെരൂശലേമിൽ കടന്നപ്പോൾ നഗരം മുഴുവനും ഇളകി: ഇവൻ ആർ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

Malayalam: ഇവൻ ഗലീലയിലെ നസറെത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ള പ്രവാചകനായ യേശു എന്നു പുരുഷാരം പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

Malayalam: യേശു ദൈവലായത്തിൽ ചെന്നു, ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ വില്ക്കുന്നവരെയും കൊള്ളുന്നവരെയും എല്ലാം പുറത്താക്കി, പൊൻവാണിഭക്കാരുടെ മേശകളെയും പ്രാവുകളെ വില്ക്കുന്നവരുടെ പീഠങ്ങളെയും മറിച്ചു കളഞ്ഞു അവരോടു:

English: And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but all of you have made it a den of thieves.

Malayalam: “എന്റെ ആലയം പ്രാർത്ഥാനാലയം എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെടും എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങളോ അതിനെ കള്ളന്മാരുടെ ഗുഹയാക്കിത്തിർക്കുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.

Malayalam: കുരുടന്മാരും മുടന്തന്മാരും ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു; അവൻ അവരെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കി.

English: And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; they were sore displeased,

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരും ശാസ്ത്രിമാരും അവൻ ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെയും ദാവീദ് പുത്രന്നു ഹോശന്നാ എന്നു ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ ആർക്കുന്ന ബാലന്മാരെയും കണ്ടിട്ടു നീരസപ്പെട്ടു;

English: And said unto him, Hear you what these say? And Jesus says unto them, Yea; have all of you never read, Out of the mouth of babes and infants you have perfected praise?

Malayalam: ഇവൻ പറയുന്നതു കേൾക്കുന്നുവോ എന്നു അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചു. യേശു അവരോടു: “ഉവ്വു: ശിശുക്കളുടെയും മുലകുടിക്കുന്നവരുടെയും വായിൽ നിന്നു നീ പുകഴ്ച ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നുള്ളതു നിങ്ങൾ ഒരിക്കലും വായിച്ചിട്ടല്ലയോ” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

English: And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there.

Malayalam: പിന്നെ അവരെ വിട്ടു നഗരത്തിൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു ബെഥാന്യയിൽ ചെന്നു അവിടെ രാത്രി പാർത്തു.

English: Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.

Malayalam: രാവിലെ അവൻ നഗരത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകുന്ന സമയം വിശന്നിട്ടു വഴിയരികെ ഒരു അത്തിവൃക്ഷം കണ്ടു

English: And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on you henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

Malayalam: അടുക്കെ ചെന്നു, അതിൽ ഇലയല്ലാതെ ഒന്നും കാണായ്കയാൽ: “ഇനി നിന്നിൽ ഒരുനാളും ഫലം ഉണ്ടാകാതെ പോകട്ടെ” എന്നു അതിനോടു പറഞ്ഞു; ക്ഷണത്തിൽ അത്തി ഉണങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

English: And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!

Malayalam: ശിഷ്യന്മാർ അതു കണ്ടാറെ: അത്തി ഇത്ര ക്ഷണത്തിൽ ഉണങ്ങിപ്പോയതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെട്ടു.

English: Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If all of you have faith, and doubt not, all of you shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if all of you shall say unto this mountain, Be you removed, and be you cast into the sea; it shall be done.

Malayalam: അതിന്നു യേശു: “നിങ്ങൾ സംശയിക്കാതെ വിശ്വാസം ഉള്ളവരായാൽ ഈ അത്തിയോടു ചെയ്തതു നിങ്ങളും ചെയ്യും; എന്നു മാത്രമല്ല, ഈ മലയോടു: നീങ്ങി കടലിലേക്കു ചാടിപ്പോക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാൽ അതും സംഭവിക്കും എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.”

English: And all things, whatsoever all of you shall ask in prayer, believing, all of you shall receive.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ വിശ്വസിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു പ്രാർത്ഥനയിൽ എന്തു യാചിച്ചാലും നിങ്ങൾക്കു ലഭിക്കും എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority do you these things? and who gave you this authority?

Malayalam: അവൻ ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ ചെന്നു ഉപദേശിക്കുമ്പോൾ മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരും ജനത്തിന്റെ മൂപ്പന്മാരും അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു: നീ എന്തു അധികാരം കൊണ്ടു ഇതു ചെയ്യുന്നു? ഈ അധികാരം നിനക്കു തന്നതു ആർ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

English: And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if all of you tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.

Malayalam: യേശു അവരോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതു: “ഞാനും നിങ്ങളോടു ഒരു വാക്കു ചോദിക്കും; അതു നിങ്ങൾ എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞാൽ എന്തു അധികാരം കൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ ഇതു ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നുള്ളതു ഞാനും നിങ്ങളോടു പറയും.

English: The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did all of you not then believe him?

Malayalam: യോഹന്നാന്റെ സ്നാനം എവിടെ നിന്നു? സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽനിന്നോ മനുഷ്യരിൽ നിന്നോ?” അവർ തമ്മിൽ ആലോചിച്ചു: സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ നിന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാൽ, പിന്നെ നിങ്ങൾ അവനെ വിശ്വസിക്കാഞ്ഞതു എന്തു എന്നു അവൻ നമ്മോടു ചോദിക്കും;

English: But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.

Malayalam: മനുഷ്യരിൽ നിന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാലോ, നാം പുരുഷാരത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു; എല്ലാവരും യോഹന്നാനെ പ്രവാചകൻ എന്നല്ലോ എണ്ണുന്നതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ അവർ യേശുവിനോടു: ഞങ്ങൾക്കു അറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാ എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു. അവൻ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: “എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ ഇതു എന്തു അധികാരംകൊണ്ടു ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നുള്ളതു ഞാനും നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നില്ല.”

English: But what think all of you? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.

Malayalam: എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങൾക്കു എന്തു തോന്നുന്നു? ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്നു രണ്ടു പുത്രന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവൻ ഒന്നാമത്തവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു: മകനേ ഇന്നു എന്റെ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടത്തിൽ പോയി വേല ചെയ്ക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.

Malayalam: എനിക്കു മനസ്സില്ല എന്നു അവൻ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു; എങ്കിലും പിന്നത്തേതിൽ അനുതപിച്ചു അവൻ പോയി.

English: And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.

Malayalam: രണ്ടാമത്തെവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അവൻ ചെന്നു അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ: ഞാൻ പോകാം അപ്പാ എന്നു അവൻ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു; പോയില്ലതാനും.

English: Whether of them two did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus says unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.

Malayalam: ഈ രണ്ടുപേരിൽ ആർ ആകുന്നു അപ്പന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം ചെയ്തതു?” ഒന്നാമത്തവൻ എന്നു അവർ പറഞ്ഞു. യേശു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: “ചുങ്കക്കാരും വേശ്യമാരും നിങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പായി ദൈവരാജ്യത്തിൽ കടക്കുന്നു എന്നു സത്യമായിട്ടു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

English: For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and all of you believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and all of you, when all of you had seen it, repented not afterward, that all of you might believe him.

Malayalam: യോഹന്നാൻ നീതിമാർഗ്ഗം ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു: നിങ്ങൾ അവനെ വിശ്വസിച്ചില്ല; എന്നാൽ ചുങ്കക്കാരും വേശ്യമാരും അവനെ വിശ്വസിച്ചു; അതു കണ്ടിട്ടും നിങ്ങൾ അവനെ വിശ്വസിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം പിന്നത്തേതിൽ അനുതപിച്ചില്ല.

English: Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and dug a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:

Malayalam: മറ്റൊരു ഉപമ കേൾപ്പിൻ. ഗൃഹസ്ഥനായോരു മനുഷ്യൻ ഒരു മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടം നട്ടുണ്ടാക്കി, അതിന്നു വേലികെട്ടി, അതിൽ ചകൂ കുഴിച്ചിട്ടു ഗോപുരവും പണിതു; പിന്നെ കുടിയാന്മാരെ പാട്ടത്തിന്നു ഏല്പിച്ചിട്ടു പരദേശത്തുപോയി.

English: And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.

Malayalam: ഫലകാലം സമീപിച്ചപ്പോൾ തനിക്കുള്ള അനുഭവം വാങ്ങേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ ദാസന്മാരെ കുടിയാന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചു.

English: And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.

Malayalam: കുടിയാന്മാരോ അവന്റെ ദാസന്മാരെ പിടിച്ചു, ഒരുവനെ തല്ലി, ഒരുവനെ കൊന്നു, മറ്റൊരുവനെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞു.

English: Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.

Malayalam: അവൻ പിന്നെയും മുമ്പിലത്തേതിലും അധികം ദാസന്മാരെ അയച്ചു; അവരോടും അവർ അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ചെയ്തു.

English: But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.

Malayalam: ഒടുവിൽ അവൻ: എന്റെ മകനെ അവർ ശങ്കിക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു, മകനെ അവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചു.

English: But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.

Malayalam: മകനെ കണ്ടിട്ടു കുടിയാന്മാർ: ഇവൻ അവകാശി; വരുവിൻ, നാം അവനെ കൊന്നു അവന്റെ അവകാശം കൈവശമാക്കുക എന്നു തമ്മിൽ പറഞ്ഞു,

English: And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.

Malayalam: അവനെ പിടിച്ചു തോട്ടത്തിൽനിന്നു പുറത്താക്കി കൊന്നു കളഞ്ഞു.

English: When the lord therefore of the vineyard comes, what will he do unto those husbandmen?

Malayalam: ആകയാൽ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടത്തിന്റെ ഉടയവൻ വരുമ്പോൾ ആ കുടിയാന്മാരോടു എന്തു ചെയ്യും?”

English: They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.

Malayalam: അവൻ ആ വല്ലാത്തവരെ വല്ലാതെ നിഗ്രഹിച്ചു തക്കസമയത്തു അനുഭവം കൊടുക്കുന്ന വേറെ കുടിയാന്മാർക്കു തോട്ടം ഏല്പിക്കും എന്നു അവർ അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Jesus says unto them, Did all of you never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

Malayalam: യേശു അവരോടു: “വീടുപണിയുന്നവർ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞ കല്ലു മൂലക്കല്ലായി തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇതു കർത്താവിനാൽ സംഭവിച്ചു നമ്മുടെ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽ ആശ്ചര്യവുമായിരിക്കുന്നു' എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ തിരുവെഴുത്തുകളിൽ ഒരിക്കലും വായിച്ചിട്ടില്ലയോ?

English: Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു ദൈവരാജ്യം നിങ്ങളുടെ പക്കൽനിന്നു എടുത്തു അതിന്റെ ഫലം കൊടുക്കുന്ന ജാതിക്കു കൊടുക്കും എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

English: And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

Malayalam: ഈ കല്ലിന്മേൽ വീഴുന്നവൻ തകർന്നുപോകും; അതു ആരുടെ മേൽ എങ്കിലും വീണാൽ അവനെ ധൂളിപ്പിക്കും” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spoke of them.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ ഉപമകളെ മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരും പരീശരും കേട്ടിട്ടു, തങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടു പറയന്നു എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞു,

English: But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.

Malayalam: അവനെ പിടിപ്പാൻ അന്വേഷിച്ചു; എന്നാൽ പുരുഷാരം അവനെ പ്രവാചകൻ എന്നു എണ്ണുകകൊണ്ടു അവരെ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു.
