Matthew 7

English: Judge not, that all of you be not judged.

Malayalam: “നിങ്ങൾ വിധിക്കപ്പെടാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു വിധിക്കരുതു.

English: For with what judgment all of you judge, all of you shall be judged: and with what measure all of you mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ വിധിക്കുന്ന വിധിയാൽ നിങ്ങളെയും വിധിക്കും; നിങ്ങൾ അളക്കുന്ന അളവിനാൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കും അളന്നു കിട്ടും.

English: And why behold you the splinter that is in your brother's eye, but consider not the beam that is in yours own eye?

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ സ്വന്തകണ്ണിലെ കോൽ ഓർക്കാതെ സഹോദരന്റെ കണ്ണിലെ കരടു നോക്കുന്നതു എന്തു?

English: Or how will you say to your brother, Let me pull out the splinter out of yours eye; and, behold, a beam is in yours own eye?

Malayalam: അല്ല, സ്വന്ത കണ്ണിൽ കോൽ ഇരിക്കെ നീ സഹോദരനോടു: നില്ലു, നിന്റെ കണ്ണിൽ നിന്നു കരടു എടുത്തുകളയട്ടേ, എന്നു പറയുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ?

English: You hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of yours own eye; and then shall you see clearly to cast out the splinter out of your brother's eye.

Malayalam: കപട ഭക്തിക്കാരാ, മുമ്പെ സ്വന്തകണ്ണിൽനിന്നു കോൽ എടുത്തുകളക; പിന്നെ സഹോദരന്റെ കണ്ണിൽ കരടു എടുത്തുകളവാൻ വെടിപ്പായി കാണും.

English: Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast all of you your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and return and rend you.

Malayalam: വിശുദ്ധമായതു നായ്ക്കൾക്കു കൊടുക്കരുതു; നിങ്ങളുടെ മുത്തുകളെ പന്നികളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ ഇടുകയുമരുതു; അവ കാൽകൊണ്ടു അവ ചവിട്ടുകയും തിരിഞ്ഞു നിങ്ങളെ ചീന്തിക്കളകയും ചെയ്‍വാൻ ഇടവരരുതു.

English: Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and all of you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Malayalam: യാചിപ്പിൻ എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കിട്ടും; അന്വേഷിപ്പിൻ എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ കണ്ടെത്തും; മുട്ടുവിൻ എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു തുറക്കും.

English: For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened.

Malayalam: യാചിക്കുന്ന ഏവന്നും ലഭിക്കുന്നു; അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവൻ കണ്ടെത്തുന്നു; മുട്ടുന്നവന്നു തുറക്കും.

English: Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?

Malayalam: മകൻ അപ്പം ചോദിച്ചാൽ അവന്നു കല്ലു കൊടുക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യൻ നിങ്ങളിൽ ആരുള്ളൂ?

English: Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?

Malayalam: മീൻ ചോദിച്ചാൽ അവന്നു പാമ്പിനെ കൊടുക്കുമോ?

English: If all of you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ ദോഷികളായ നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കൾക്കു നല്ല ദാനങ്ങളെ കൊടുപ്പാൻ അറിയുന്നു എങ്കിൽ സ്വർഗ്ഗസ്ഥനായ നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവു തന്നോടു യാചിക്കുന്നവർക്കു നന്മ എത്ര അധികം കൊടുക്കും!

English: Therefore all things whatsoever all of you would that men should do to you, do all of you even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Malayalam: മനുഷ്യർ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ചെയ്യേണം എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ ഇച്ഛിക്കന്നതു ഒക്കെയും നിങ്ങൾ അവർക്കും ചെയ്‍വിൻ; ന്യായപ്രമാണവും പ്രവാചകന്മാരും ഇതു തന്നേ.

English: Enter all of you in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Malayalam: ഇടുക്കുവാതിലൂടെ അകത്തു കടപ്പിൻ; നാശത്തിലേക്കു പോകുന്ന വാതിൽ വീതിയുള്ളതും വഴി വിശാലവും അതിൽകൂടി കടക്കുന്നവർ അനേകരും ആകുന്നു.

English: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it.

Malayalam: ജീവങ്കലേക്കു പോകുന്ന വാതിൽ ഇടുക്കവും വഴി ഞെരുക്കവുമുള്ളതു; അതു കണ്ടെത്തുന്നവർ ചുരുക്കമത്രേ.

English: Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Malayalam: കള്ള പ്രവാചകന്മാരെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ; അവർ ആടുകളുടെ വേഷം പൂണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ വരുന്നു; അകമെയോ കടിച്ചുകീറുന്ന ചെന്നായ്ക്കൾ ആകുന്നു.

English: All of you shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Malayalam: അവരുടെ ഫലങ്ങളാൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു അവരെ തിരിച്ചറിയാം; മുള്ളുകളിൽനിന്നു മുന്തിരിപ്പഴവും ഞെരിഞ്ഞിലുകളിൽനിന്നു അത്തിപ്പഴവും പറിക്കുമാറുണ്ടോ?

English: Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit.

Malayalam: നല്ല വൃക്ഷം ഒക്കെയും നല്ല ഫലം കായക്കുന്നു; ആകാത്ത വൃക്ഷമോ ആകാത്ത ഫലം കായക്കുന്നു.

English: A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Malayalam: നല്ല വൃക്ഷത്തിന്നു ആകാത്ത ഫലവും ആകാത്ത വൃക്ഷത്തിന്നു നല്ല ഫലവും കായ്പ്പാൻ കഴിയില്ല.

English: Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Malayalam: നല്ല ഫലം കായ്ക്കാത്തവൃക്ഷം ഒക്കെയും വെട്ടി തീയിൽ ഇടുന്നു.

English: Wherefore by their fruits all of you shall know them.

Malayalam: ആകയാൽ അവരുടെ ഫലത്താൽ നിങ്ങൾ അവരെ തിരിച്ചറിയും.

English: Not every one that says unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Malayalam: എന്നോടു കർത്താവേ, കർത്താവേ, എന്നു പറയുന്നവൻ ഏവനുമല്ല, സ്വർഗ്ഗസ്ഥനായ എന്റെ പിതാവിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ അത്രേ സ്വർഗ്ഗരാജ്യത്തിൽ കടക്കുന്നതു.

English: Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works?

Malayalam: കർത്താവേ, കർത്താവേ, നിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ പ്രവചിക്കയും നിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ ഭൂതങ്ങളെ പുറത്താക്കുകയും നിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ വളരെ വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികൾ പ്രവർത്തിക്കയും ചെയ്തില്ലയോ എന്നു പലരും ആ നാളിൽ എന്നോടു പറയും.

English: And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, all of you that work iniquity.

Malayalam: അന്നു ഞാൻ അവരോടു: ഞാൻ ഒരു നാളും നിങ്ങളെ അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല; അധർമ്മം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവരേ, എന്നെ വിട്ടു പോകുവിൻ എന്നു തീർത്തു പറയും.

English: Therefore whosoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

Malayalam: ആകയാൽ എന്റെ ഈ വചനങ്ങളെ കേട്ടു ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ ഒക്കെയും പാറമേൽ വീടു പണിത ബുദ്ധിയുള്ള മനുഷ്യനോടു തുല്യനാകുന്നു.

English: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

Malayalam: വന്മഴ ചൊരിഞ്ഞു നദികൾ പൊങ്ങി കാറ്റു അടിച്ചു ആ വീട്ടിന്മേൽ അലെച്ചു; അതു പാറമേൽ അടിസ്ഥാനമുള്ളതാകയാൽ വീണില്ല.

English: And every one that hears these sayings of mine, and does them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

Malayalam: എന്റെ ഈ വചനങ്ങളെ കേട്ടു ചെയ്യാത്തവൻ ഒക്കെയും മണലിന്മേൽ വീടുപണിത മനുഷ്യനോടു തുല്യനാകുന്നു.

English: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Malayalam: വന്മഴ ചൊരിഞ്ഞു നദികൾ പൊങ്ങി കാറ്റു അടിച്ചു ആ വീട്ടിന്മേൽ അലെച്ചു, അതു വീണു; അതിന്റെ വീഴ്ച വലിയതായിരുന്നു.”

English: And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:

Malayalam: ഈ വചനങ്ങളെ യേശു പറഞ്ഞു തീർന്നപ്പോൾ പുരുഷാരം അവന്റെ ഉപദേശത്തിൽ വിസ്മയിച്ചു;

English: For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

Malayalam: അവരുടെ ശാസ്ത്രിമാരെപ്പോലെ അല്ല, അധികാരമുള്ളവനായിട്ടത്രേ അവൻ അവരോടു ഉപദേശിച്ചതു.
