Numbers 32

English: Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of cattle: and when they saw the land of Jazer, and the land of Gilead, that, behold, the place was a place for cattle;

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ രൂബേന്യർക്കും ഗാദ്യർക്കും എത്രയും വളരെ ആടുമാടുകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവർ യസേർദേശവും ഗിലെയാദ്‌ദേശവും ആടുമാടുകൾക്കു കൊള്ളാകുന്ന സ്ഥലം എന്നു കണ്ടിട്ടു വന്നു

English: The children of Gad and the children of Reuben came and spoke unto Moses, and to Eleazar the priest, and unto the princes of the congregation, saying,

Malayalam: മോശെയൊടും പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരിനോടും സഭയിലെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരോടും സംസാരിച്ചു:

English: Ataroth, and Dibon, and Jazer, and Nimrah, and Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Shebam, and Nebo, and Beon,

Malayalam: അതാരോത്ത്, ദീബോൻ, യസേർ, നിമ്രാ, ഹെശ്ബോൻ, എലെയാലേ, സെബാം, നെബോ, ബെയോൻ

English: Even the country which the LORD stroke before the congregation of Israel, is a land for cattle, and your servants have cattle:

Malayalam: എന്നിങ്ങനെ യഹോവ യിസ്രായേൽ സഭയുടെ മുമ്പിൽ ജയിച്ചടക്കിയ ദേശം ആടുമാടുകൾക്കു കൊള്ളാകുന്ന പ്രദേശം; അടിയങ്ങൾക്കോ ആടുമാടുകൾ ഉണ്ടു.

English: Wherefore, said they, if we have found grace in your sight, let this land be given unto your servants for a possession, and bring us not over Jordan.

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു നിനക്കു അടയങ്ങളോടു കൃപയുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ഈ ദേശം അടിയങ്ങൾക്കു അവകാശമായി തരേണം; ഞങ്ങളെ യോർദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ കൊണ്ടു പോകരുതേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And Moses said unto the children of Gad and to the children of Reuben, Shall your brethren go to war, and shall all of you sit here?

Malayalam: മോശെ ഗാദ്യരോടും രൂഹേന്യരോടും പറഞ്ഞതു: നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മർ യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പോകുമ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഇവിടെ ഇരിക്കേണമെന്നോ?

English: And wherefore discourage all of you the heart of the children of Israel from going over into the land which the LORD has given them?

Malayalam: യഹോവ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കു കൊടുത്തിട്ടുള്ള ദേശത്തേക്കു അവർ കടക്കാതിരിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം നിങ്ങൾ അവരെ അധൈര്യപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതു എന്തിന്നു?

English: Thus did your fathers, when I sent them from Kadeshbarnea to see the land.

Malayalam: ഒറ്റുനോക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെ കാദേശ്ബർന്നേയയിൽനിന്നു അയച്ചപ്പോൾ അവർ ഇങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ചെയ്തു.

English: For when they went up unto the valley of Eshcol, and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not go into the land which the LORD had given them.

Malayalam: അവർ എസ്കോൽ താഴ്വരയൊളം ചെന്നു ദേശം കണ്ടശേഷം യഹോവ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കു കൊടുത്തിട്ടുള്ള ദേശത്തേക്കു പോകാതിരിക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം അവരെ അധൈര്യപ്പെടുത്തി.

English: And the LORD's anger was kindled the same time, and he swore, saying,

Malayalam: അന്നു യഹോവയുടെ കോപം ജ്വലിച്ചു; അവൻ സത്യംചേയ്തു കല്പിച്ചതു:

English: Surely none of the men that came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I swore unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me:

Malayalam: കെനിസ്യനായ യെഫുന്നെയുടെ മകൻ കാലേബും നൂന്റെ മകൻ യോശുവയും യഹോവയോടു പൂർണ്ണമായി പറ്റിനിന്നതുകൊണ്ടു

English: Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite, and Joshua the son of Nun: for they have wholly followed the LORD.

Malayalam: അവരല്ലാതെ മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു പോന്നവരിൽ ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതൽ മേലോട്ടുള്ള ഒരുത്തനും ഞാൻ അബ്രാഹാമിനോടും യിസ്ഹാക്കിനോടും യാക്കോബിനോടും സത്യം ചെയ്ത ദേശത്തെ കാണുകയില്ല; അവർ എന്നോടു പൂർണ്ണമായി പറ്റി നിൽക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ.

English: And the LORD's anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of the LORD, was consumed.

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ യഹോവയുടെ കോപം യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ നേരെ ജ്വലിച്ചു; യഹോവെക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്ത തലമുറ എല്ലാം മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകുവോളം അവൻ നാല്പതു സംവത്സരം അവരെ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ അലയുമാറാക്കി.

English: And, behold, all of you are risen up in your fathers' position, an increase of sinful men, to augment yet the fierce anger of the LORD toward Israel.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ നേരെ യഹോവയുടെ ഉഗ്രകോപം ഇനിയും വർദ്ധിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർക്കു പകരം നിങ്ങൾ പാപികളുടെ ഒരു കൂട്ടമായി എഴുന്നേറ്റിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: For if all of you turn away from after him, he will yet again leave them in the wilderness; and all of you shall destroy all this people.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ അവനെ വിട്ടു പിന്നോക്കം പോയാൽ അവൻ ഇനിയും അവരെ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ വിട്ടുകളയും; അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങൾ ഈ ജനത്തെയെല്ലാം നശിപ്പിക്കും.

English: And they came near unto him, and said, We will build sheepfolds here for our cattle, and cities for our little ones:

Malayalam: അപ്പോൾ അവർ അടുത്തു ചെന്നു പറഞ്ഞതു: ഞങ്ങൾ ഇവിടെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ആടുമാടുകൾക്കു തൊഴുത്തുകളും ഞങ്ങളുടെ കുഞ്ഞുകുട്ടികൾക്കു പട്ടണങ്ങളും പണിയട്ടെ.

English: But we ourselves will go ready armed before the children of Israel, until we have brought them unto their place: and our little ones shall dwell in the fenced cities because of the inhabitants of the land.

Malayalam: എങ്കിലും യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളെ അവരുടെ സ്ഥലത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോയി ആക്കുന്നതുവരെ ഞങ്ങൾ യുദ്ധസന്നദ്ധരായി അവർക്കു മുമ്പായി നടക്കും; ഞങ്ങളുടെ കുഞ്ഞുകുട്ടികളോ ദേശത്തിലെ നിവാസികൾ നിമിത്തം ഉറപ്പുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങളിൽ പാർക്കട്ടെ.

English: We will not return unto our houses, until the children of Israel have inherited every man his inheritance.

Malayalam: യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ അവകാശം അടക്കിക്കൊള്ളുംവരെ ഞങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങളുടെ വീടുകളിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോരികയില്ല.

English: For we will not inherit with them on yonder side Jordan, or forward; because our inheritance is fallen to us on this side Jordan eastward.

Malayalam: യോർദ്ദാന്നക്കരെയും അതിന്നപ്പുറവും ഞങ്ങൾ അവരോടുകൂടെ അവകാശം വാങ്ങുകയില്ല; കിഴക്കു യോർദ്ദാന്നിക്കരെ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു അവകാശം ഉണ്ടല്ലോ.

English: And Moses said unto them, If all of you will do this thing, if all of you will go armed before the LORD to war,

Malayalam: അതിന്നു മോശെ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: നിങ്ങൾ ഈ കാര്യം ചെയ്യുമെങ്കിൽ, യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ യുദ്ധസന്നദ്ധരായി പുറപ്പെട്ടു

English: And will go all of you armed over Jordan before the LORD, until he has driven out his enemies from before him,

Malayalam: യഹോവ തന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു ശത്രുക്കളെ നീക്കിക്കളയുവോളം നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും അവന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ യുദ്ധസന്നദ്ധരായി യോർദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ കടന്നുപോകുമെങ്കിൽ

English: And the land be subdued before the LORD: then afterward all of you shall return, and be guiltless before the LORD, and before Israel; and this land shall be your possession before the LORD.

Malayalam: ദേശം യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ കീഴമർന്നശേഷം നിങ്ങൾ മടങ്ങിപ്പോരികയും യഹോവയുടെയും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെയും മുമ്പാകെ കുറ്റമില്ലാത്തവരായിരിക്കയും ചെയ്യും; അപ്പോൾ ഈ ദേശം യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അവകാശമാകും.

English: But if all of you will not do so, behold, all of you have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്കയില്ല എങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവയോടു പാപം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപഫലം നിങ്ങൾ അനുഭവിക്കും.

English: Build you cities for your little ones, and folds for your sheep; and do that which has proceeded out of your mouth.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങളുടെ കുട്ടികൾക്കായി പട്ടണങ്ങളും നിങ്ങളുടെ ആടുകൾക്കായി തൊഴുത്തുകളും പണിതു നിങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ ചെയ്തുകൊൾവിൻ.

English: And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben spoke unto Moses, saying, Your servants will do as my lord commands.

Malayalam: ഗാദ്യരും രൂബേന്യരും മോശെയോടു യജമാനൻ കല്പിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അടിയങ്ങൾ ചെയ്തുകൊള്ളാം.

English: Our little ones, our wives, our flocks, and all our cattle, shall be there in the cities of Gilead:

Malayalam: ഞങ്ങളുടെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളും ഭാര്യമാരും ഞങ്ങളുടെ കന്നുകാലികളും മൃഗങ്ങളൊക്കെയും ഗിലെയാദിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിൽ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ.

English: But your servants will pass over, every man armed for war, before the LORD to battle, as my lord says.

Malayalam: അടിയങ്ങളോ യജമാനൻ കല്പിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ എല്ലാവരും യുദ്ധസന്നദ്ധരായി യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു കടന്നു പോകാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: So concerning them Moses commanded Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel:

Malayalam: ആകയാൽ മോശെ അവരെക്കുറിച്ചു പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരിനോടും നൂന്റെ മകനായ യോശുവയോടും യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രപ്രധാനികളോടും കല്പിച്ചതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

English: And Moses said unto them, If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over Jordan, every man armed to battle, before the LORD, and the land shall be subdued before you; then all of you shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession:

Malayalam: ഗാദ്യരും രൂബേന്യരും ഓരോരുത്തൻ യുദ്ധസന്നദ്ധനായി യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ യോർദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ കടന്നുപോരികയും ദേശം നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പാകെ കീഴടങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്താൽ നിങ്ങൾ അവർക്കു ഗിലെയാദ് ദേശം അവകാശമായി കൊടുക്കേണം.

English: But if they will not pass over with you armed, they shall have possessions among you in the land of Canaan.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ അവർ നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ യുദ്ധസന്നദ്ധരായി അക്കരെക്കു കടക്കാതിരുന്നാൽ അവരുടെ അവകാശം നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ കനാൻ ദേശത്തുതന്നേ ആയിരിക്കേണം.

English: And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben answered, saying, As the LORD has said unto your servants, so will we do.

Malayalam: ഗാദ്യരും രൂബേന്യരും അതിന്നു: യഹോവ അടിയങ്ങളോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുപോലെ ചെയ്തുകൊള്ളാം.

English: We will pass over armed before the LORD into the land of Canaan, that the possession of our inheritance on this side Jordan may be ours.

Malayalam: ഞങ്ങളുടെ അവകാശം ലഭിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ യുദ്ധസന്നദ്ധരായി കനാൻ ദേശത്തേക്കു കടന്നുപോകാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And Moses gave unto them, even to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, and unto half the tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land, with the cities thereof in the coasts, even the cities of the country round about.

Malayalam: അപ്പോൾ മോശെ ഗാദ്യർക്കും രൂബേന്യർക്കും യോസേഫിന്റെ മകനായ മനശ്ശെയുടെ പാതിഗോത്രത്തിന്നും അമോർയ്യരാജാവായ സീഹോന്റെ രാജ്യവും ബാശാൻ രാജാവായ ഓഗിന്റെ രാജ്യവുമായ ദേശവും അതിന്റെ അതിരുകളിൽ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ദേശത്തിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങളും കൊടുത്തു.

English: And the children of Gad built Dibon, and Ataroth, and Aroer,

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ ഗാദ്യർ ദീബോൻ, അതാരോത്ത്,

English: And Atroth, Shophan, and Jaazer, and Jogbehah,

Malayalam: അരോയേർ, അത്രോത്ത്, ശോഫാൻ, യസേർ, യൊഗ്ബെഹാ,

English: And Bethnimrah, and Bethharan, fenced cities: and folds for sheep.

Malayalam: ബേത്ത്-നിമ്രാ, ബേത്ത്-ഹാരാൻ എന്നിവയെ ഉറപ്പുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങളായും ആടുകൾക്കു തൊഴുത്തുകളായും പണിതു.

English: And the children of Reuben built Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Kirjathaim,

Malayalam: രൂബേന്യർ ഹെശ്ബോനും എലെയാലേയും കിർയ്യത്തയീമും പേരുമാറ്റിക്കളഞ്ഞ നെബോ,

English: And Nebo, and Baalmeon, (their names being changed,) and Shibmah: and gave other names unto the cities which they built.

Malayalam: ബാൽമെയോൻ എന്നിവയും സിബ്മയും പണിതു; അവർ പണിത പട്ടണങ്ങൾക്കു പുതിയ പേരിട്ടു.

English: And the children of Machir the son of Manasseh went to Gilead, and took it, and dispossessed the Amorite which was in it.

Malayalam: മനശ്ശെയുടെ മകനായ മാഖീരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ ഗിലെയാദിൽ ചെന്നു അതിനെ അടക്കി, അവിടെ പാർത്തിരുന്ന അമോർയ്യരെ ഓടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

English: And Moses gave Gilead unto Machir the son of Manasseh; and he dwelt therein.

Malayalam: മോശെ ഗിലെയാദ് ദേശം മനശ്ശെയുടെ മകനായ മാഖീരിന്നു കൊടുത്തു; അവൻ അവിടെ പാർത്തു.

English: And Jair the son of Manasseh went and took the small towns thereof, and called them Havothjair.

Malayalam: മനശ്ശെയുടെ പുത്രനായ യായീർ ചെന്നു അതിലെ ഊരുകളെ അടക്കി, അവെക്കു ഹവവോത്ത്-യായീർ (യായീരിന്റെ ഊരുകൾ) എന്നു പേരിട്ടു.

English: And Nobah went and took Kenath, and the villages thereof, and called it Nobah, after his own name.

Malayalam: നോബഹ് ചെന്നു കെനാത്ത് പട്ടണവും അതിന്റെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും അടക്കി; അതിന്നു തന്റെ പേരിൻ പ്രകാരം നോബഹ് എന്നു പേരിട്ടു.
