Psalms 1

English: Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.

Malayalam: ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ ആലോചനപ്രകാരം നടക്കാതെയും പാപികളുടെ വഴിയിൽ നിൽക്കാതെയും പരിഹാസികളുടെ ഇരിപ്പിടത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കാതെയും

English: But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law does he meditate day and night.

Malayalam: യഹോവയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽ സന്തോഷിച്ചു അവന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തെ രാപ്പകൽ ധ്യാനിക്കുന്നവൻ ഭാഗ്യവാൻ.

English: And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper.

Malayalam: അവൻ, ആറ്റരികത്തു നട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതും തക്കകാലത്തു ഫലം കായ്ക്കുന്നതും ഇലവാടാത്തതുമായ വൃക്ഷംപോലെ ഇരിക്കും; അവൻ ചെയ്യുന്നതൊക്കെയും സാധിക്കും.

English: The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.

Malayalam: ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ അങ്ങനെയല്ല; അവർ കാറ്റു പാറ്റുന്ന പതിർപോലെയത്രേ.

English: Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

Malayalam: ആകയാൽ ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ ന്യായവിസ്താരത്തിലും പാപികൾ നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ സഭയിലും നിവർന്നു നിൽക്കുകയില്ല.

English: For the LORD knows the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Malayalam: യഹോവ നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ വഴി അറിയുന്നു; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ വഴിയോ നാശകരം ആകുന്നു.
