Song of Solomon 4

English: Behold, you are fair, my love; behold, you are fair; you have doves' eyes within your locks: your hair is as a flock of goats, that appear from mount Gilead.

Malayalam: എന്റെ പ്രിയേ, നീ സുന്ദരി; നീ സുന്ദരി തന്നേ. നിന്റെ മൂടുപടത്തിൻ നടുവെ നിന്റെ കണ്ണു പ്രാവിൻ കണ്ണുപോലെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ തലമുടി ഗിലെയാദ് മലഞ്ചെരിവിൽ കിടക്കുന്ന കോലാട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടം പോലെയാകുന്നു.

English: Your teeth are like a flock of sheep that are even shorn, which came up from the washing; whereof every one bear twins, and none is barren among them.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ പല്ലു, രോമം കത്രിച്ചിട്ടു കുളിച്ചു കയറിവരുന്ന ആടുകളെപ്പോലെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; അവയിൽ ഒന്നും മച്ചിയായിരിക്കാതെ എല്ലാം ഇരട്ടപ്രസവിക്കുന്നു.

English: Your lips are like a thread of scarlet, and your speech is comely: your temples are like a piece of a pomegranate within your locks.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ അധരം കടുംചുവപ്പുനൂൽപോലെയും നിന്റെ വായ് മനോഹരവും ആകുന്നു; നിന്റെ ചെന്നികൾ നിന്റെ മൂടുപടത്തിൻ ഉള്ളിൽ മാതളപ്പഴത്തിൻ ഖണ്ഡംപോലെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Your neck is like the tower of David built for an armoury, whereon there hang a thousand bucklers, all shields of mighty men.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ കഴുത്തു ആയുധശാലയായി പണിതിരിക്കുന്ന ദാവീദിൻ ഗോപുരത്തോടു ഒക്കും; അതിൽ ആയിരം പരിച തൂക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവ ഒക്കെയും വീരന്മാരുടെ പരിച തന്നേ.

English: Your two breasts are like two young roes that are twins, which feed among the lilies.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ സ്തനം രണ്ടും താമരെക്കിടയിൽ മേയുന്ന ഇരട്ട പിറന്ന രണ്ടു മാൻ കുട്ടികൾക്കു സമം.

English: Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, I will get me to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense.

Malayalam: വെയലാറി നിഴൽ കാണാതെയാകുവോളം ഞാൻ മൂറിൻ മലയിലും കുന്തുരുക്കക്കുന്നിലും ചെന്നിരിക്കാം.

English: You are all fair, my love; there is no spot in you.

Malayalam: എന്റെ പ്രിയേ, നീ സർവ്വാംഗസുന്ദരി; നിന്നിൽ യാതൊരു ഊനവും ഇല്ല.

English: Come with me from Lebanon, my spouse, with me from Lebanon: look from the top of Amana, from the top of Shenir and Hermon, from the lions' dens, from the mountains of the leopards.

Malayalam: കാന്തേ ലെബാനോനെ വിട്ടു എന്നോടുകൂടെ, ലെബാനോനെ വിട്ടു എന്നോടുകൂടെ വരിക; അമാനാമുകളും ശെനീർ ഹെർമ്മോൻ കൊടുമുടികളും സിംഹങ്ങളുടെ ഗുഹകളും പുള്ളിപ്പുലികളുടെ പർവ്വതങ്ങളും വിട്ടുപോരിക.

English: You have ravished my heart, my sister, my spouse; you have ravished my heart with one of yours eyes, with one chain of your neck.

Malayalam: എന്റെ സഹോദരി എന്റെ കാന്തേ. നീ എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ അപഹരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ഒരു നോട്ടംകൊണ്ടും കഴുത്തിലെ മാലകൊണ്ടും നീ എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ അപഹരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: How fair is your love, my sister, my spouse! how much better is your love than wine! and the smell of yours ointments than all spices!

Malayalam: എന്റെ സഹോദരീ, എന്റെ കാന്തേ, നിന്റെ പ്രേമം എത്ര മനോഹരം! വീഞ്ഞിനെക്കാൾ നിന്റെ പ്രേമവും സകലവിധ സുഗന്ധവർഗ്ഗത്തെക്കാൾ നിന്റെ തൈലത്തിന്റെ പരിമളവും എത്ര രസകരം!

English: Your lips, O my spouse, drop as the honeycomb: honey and milk are under your tongue; and the smell of your garments is like the smell of Lebanon.

Malayalam: അല്ലയോ കാന്തേ, നിന്റെ അധരം തേൻ കട്ട പൊഴിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ നാവിൻ കീഴിൽ തേനും പാലും ഉണ്ടു; നിന്റെ വസ്ത്രത്തിന്റെ വാസന ലെബാനോന്റെ വാസനപോലെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

English: A garden enclosed is my sister, my spouse; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed.

Malayalam: എന്റെ സഹോദരി, എന്റെ കാന്ത കെട്ടി അടെച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു തോട്ടം, അടെച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു നീരുറവു, മുദ്രയിട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു കിണറു.

English: Your plants are an orchard of pomegranates, with pleasant fruits; camphire, with spikenard,

Malayalam: നിന്റെ ചിനെപ്പുകൾ വിശിഷ്ടഫലങ്ങളോടു കൂടിയ മാതളത്തോട്ടം; മയിലാഞ്ചിയോടുകൂടെ ജടാമാംസിയും,

English: Spikenard and saffron; calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices:

Malayalam: ജടാമാംസിയും കുങ്കുമവും, വയമ്പും ലവംഗവും, സകലവിധ കുന്തുരുക്കവൃക്ഷങ്ങളും, മൂറും അകിലും സകലപ്രധാന സുഗന്ധവർഗ്ഗവും തന്നേ.

English: A fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon.

Malayalam: നീ തോട്ടങ്ങൾക്കു ഒരു നീരുറവും, വറ്റിപ്പോകാത്ത കിണറും ലെബാനോനിൽനിന്നു ഒഴുകുന്ന ഒഴുക്കുകളും തന്നേ.

English: Awake, O north wind; and come, you south; blow upon my garden, that the spices thereof may flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits.

Malayalam: വടതിക്കാറ്റേ ഉണരുക; തെന്നിക്കാറ്റേ വരിക; എന്റെ തോട്ടത്തിൽനിന്നു സുഗന്ധം വീശേണ്ടതിന്നു അതിന്മേൽ ഊതുക; എന്റെ പ്രിയൻ തന്റെ തോട്ടത്തിൽ വന്നു അതിനെ വിശിഷ്ടഫലം ഭുജിക്കട്ടെ.
