Job 12

English: And Job answered and said,

Malayalam: അതിന്നു ഇയ്യോബ് ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

English: No doubt but all of you are the people, and wisdom shall die with you.

Malayalam: ഓഹോ, നിങ്ങൾ ആകുന്നു വിദ്വജ്ജനം! നിങ്ങൾ മരിച്ചാൽ ജ്ഞാനം മരിക്കും.

English: But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: yea, who knows not such things as these?

Malayalam: നിങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ എനിക്കും ബുദ്ധി ഉണ്ടു; നിങ്ങളെക്കാൾ ഞാൻ അധമനല്ല; ആർക്കാകുന്നു ഈവക അറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാത്തതു?

English: I am as one mocked of his neighbour, who calls upon God, and he answers him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn.

Malayalam: ദൈവത്തെ വിളിച്ചു ഉത്തരം ലഭിച്ച ഞാൻ എന്റെ സഖിക്കു പരിഹാസവിഷയമായിത്തീർന്നു; നീതിമാനും നഷ്കളങ്കനുമായവൻ തന്നേ പരിഹാസവിഷയമായിത്തീർന്നു.

English: He that is ready to slip with his feet is as a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.

Malayalam: വിപത്തു നിന്ദ്യം എന്നു സുഖിയന്റെ വിചാരം; കാൽ ഇടറുന്നവർക്കു അതു ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God brings abundantly.

Malayalam: പിടിച്ചുപറിക്കാരുടെ കൂടാരങ്ങൾ ശുഭമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ദൈവത്തെ കോപിപ്പിക്കുന്നവർ നിർഭയമായ്‍വസിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ കയ്യിൽ ദൈവം എത്തിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്നു.

English: But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach you; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell you:

Malayalam: മൃഗങ്ങളോടു ചോദിക്ക; അവ നിന്നെ ഉപദേശിക്കും; ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികളോടു ചോദിക്ക; അവ പറഞ്ഞുതരും;

English: Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach you: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto you.

Malayalam: അല്ല, ഭൂമിയോടു സംഭാഷിക്ക; അതു നിന്നെ ഉപദേശിക്കും; സമുദ്രത്തിലെ മത്സ്യം നിന്നോടു വിവരിക്കും.

English: Who knows not in all these that the hand of the LORD has wrought this?

Malayalam: യഹോവയുടെ കൈ ഇതു പ്രർത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഇവയെല്ലാംകൊണ്ടും ഗ്രഹിക്കാത്തവനാർ?

English: In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.

Malayalam: സകലജീവജന്തുക്കളുടെയും പ്രാണനും സകലമനുഷ്യവർഗ്ഗത്തിന്റെയും ശ്വാസവും അവന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Does not the ear try words? and the mouth taste his food?

Malayalam: ചെവി വാക്കുകളെ പരിശോധിക്കുന്നില്ലയോ? അണ്ണാകൂ ഭക്ഷണം രുചിനോക്കുന്നില്ലയോ?

English: With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.

Malayalam: വൃദ്ധന്മാരുടെ പക്കൽ ജ്ഞാനവും വയോധികന്മാരിൽ വിവേകവും ഉണ്ടു.

English: With him is wisdom and strength, he has counsel and understanding.

Malayalam: ജ്ഞാനവും ശക്തിയും അവന്റെ പക്കൽ, ആലോചനയും വിവേകവും അവന്നുള്ളതു.

English: Behold, he breaks down, and it cannot be built again: he shuts up a man, and there can be no opening.

Malayalam: അവൻ ഇടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞാൽ ആർക്കും പണിതുകൂടാ; അവൻ മനുഷ്യനെ ബന്ധിച്ചാൽ ആരും അഴിച്ചുവിടുകയില്ല.

English: Behold, he withholds the waters, and they dry up: also he sends them out, and they overturn the earth.

Malayalam: അവൻ വെള്ളം തടുത്തുകളഞ്ഞാൽ അതു വറ്റിപ്പോകുന്നു; അവൻ വിട്ടയച്ചാൽ അതു ഭൂമിയെ മറിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.

English: With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are his.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ പക്കൽ ശക്തിയും സാഫല്യവും ഉണ്ടു; വഞ്ചിതനും വഞ്ചകനും അവന്നുള്ളവർ.

English: He leads counsellors away spoiled, and makes the judges fools.

Malayalam: അവൻ മന്ത്രിമാരെ കവർച്ചയായി കൊണ്ടു പോകുന്നു; ന്യായാധിപന്മാരെ ഭോഷന്മാരാക്കുന്നു.

English: He looses the bond of kings, and girds their loins with a girdle.

Malayalam: രാജാക്കന്മാർ ബന്ധിച്ചതിനെ അഴിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ അരെക്കു കയറു കെട്ടുന്നു.

English: He leads princes away spoiled, and overthrows the mighty.

Malayalam: അവൻ പുരോഹിതന്മാരെ കവർച്ചയായി കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നു; ബലശാലികളെ തള്ളിയിട്ടുകളയുന്നു.

English: He removes away the speech of the trusty, and takes away the understanding of the aged.

Malayalam: അവൻ വിശ്വസ്തന്മാർക്കു വാക്കു മുട്ടിക്കുന്നു. വൃദ്ധന്മാരുടെ ബുദ്ധി എടുത്തുകളയുന്നു.

English: He pours contempt upon princes, and weakens the strength of the mighty.

Malayalam: അവൻ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെമേൽ ധിക്കാരം പകരുന്നു; ബലവാന്മാരുടെ അരക്കച്ച അഴിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.

English: He discovers deep things out of darkness, and brings out to light the shadow of death.

Malayalam: അവൻ അഗാധകാര്യങ്ങളെ അന്ധകാരത്തിൽ നിന്നു വെളിച്ചത്താക്കുന്നു; അന്ധതമസ്സിനെ പ്രകാശത്തിൽ വരുത്തുന്നു.

English: He increases the nations, and destroys them: he enlarges the nations, and straitens them again.

Malayalam: അവൻ ജാതികളെ വർദ്ധിപ്പക്കയും നശിപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; അവൻ ജാതികളെ ചിതറിക്കയും കൂട്ടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: He takes away the heart of the chief of the people of the earth, and causes them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way.

Malayalam: അവൻ ഭൂവാസികളിൽ തലവന്മാരെ ധൈര്യം കെടുക്കുന്നു; വഴിയില്ലാത്ത ശൂന്യപ്രദേശത്തു അവരെ ഉഴലുമാറാക്കുന്നു;

English: They grope in the dark without light, and he makes them to stagger like a drunken man.

Malayalam: അവർ വെളിച്ചമില്ലാതെ ഇരുട്ടിൽ തപ്പിനടക്കുന്നു; അവൻ മത്തന്മാരെപ്പോലെ അവരെ ചാഞ്ചാടുമാറാക്കുന്നു.
