Job 36

English: Elihu also proceeded, and said,

Malayalam: എലീഹൂ പിന്നെയും പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

English: Suffer me a little, and I will show you that I have yet to speak on God's behalf.

Malayalam: അല്പം ക്ഷമിക്ക, ഞാൻ അറിയിച്ചുതരാം; ദൈവത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടി ഇനിയും ചില വാക്കു പറവാനുണ്ടു.

English: I will fetch my knowledge from far, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ ദൂരത്തുനിന്നു അറിവു കൊണ്ടുവരും; എന്റെ സ്രഷ്ടാവിന്നു നീതിയെ ആരോപിക്കും.

English: For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with you.

Malayalam: എന്റെ വാക്കു ഭോഷ്കല്ല നിശ്ചയം; അറിവു തികഞ്ഞവൻ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ നില്ക്കുന്നു.

English: Behold, God is mighty, and despises not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.

Malayalam: ദൈവം ബലവാനെങ്കിലും ആരെയും നിരസിക്കുന്നില്ല; അവൻ വിവേകശക്തിയിലും ബലവാൻ തന്നേ.

English: He perserves not the life of the wicked: but gives right to the poor.

Malayalam: അവൻ ദുഷ്ടന്റെ ജീവനെ രക്ഷിക്കുന്നില്ല; ദുഃഖിതന്മാർക്കോ അവൻ ന്യായം നടത്തിക്കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

English: He withdraws not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he does establish them for ever, and they are exalted.

Malayalam: അവൻ നീതിമാന്മാരിൽനിന്നു തന്റെ കടാക്ഷം മാറ്റുന്നില്ല; രാജാക്കന്മാരോടുകൂടെ അവരെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരുത്തുന്നു; അവർ എന്നേക്കും ഉയർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: And if they be bound in fetters, and be held in cords of affliction;

Malayalam: അവർ ചങ്ങലകളാൽ ബന്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടു കഷ്ടതയുടെ പാശങ്ങളാൽ പിടിക്കപ്പെട്ടാൽ

English: Then he shows them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded.

Malayalam: അവൻ അവർക്കു അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയും അഹങ്കരിച്ചുപോയ ലംഘനങ്ങളും കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും.

English: He opens also their ear to discipline, and commands that they return from iniquity.

Malayalam: അവൻ അവരുടെ ചെവി പ്രബോധനത്തിന്നു തുറക്കുന്നു; അവർ നീതികേടു വിട്ടുതിരിവാൻ കല്പിക്കുന്നു.

English: If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

Malayalam: അവർ കേട്ടനുസരിച്ചു അവനെ സേവിച്ചാൽ തങ്ങളുടെ നാളുകളെ ഭാഗ്യത്തിലും ആണ്ടുകളെ ആനന്ദത്തിലും കഴിച്ചുകൂട്ടും.

English: But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.

Malayalam: കേൾക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കിലോ അവർ വാളാൽ നശിക്കും; ബുദ്ധിമോശത്താൽ മരിച്ചുപോകും.

English: But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he binds them.

Malayalam: ദുഷ്ടമാനസന്മാർ കോപം സംഗ്രഹിച്ചുവെക്കുന്നു; അവൻ അവരെ ബന്ധിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവർ രക്ഷെക്കായി വിളിക്കുന്നില്ല.

English: They die in youth, and their life is among the unclean.

Malayalam: അവർ യൌവനത്തിൽ തന്നേ മരിച്ചു പോകുന്നു; അവരുടെ ജീവൻ ദുർന്നടപ്പുകാരുടേതു പോലെ നശിക്കുന്നു.

English: He delivers the poor in his affliction, and opens their ears in oppression.

Malayalam: അവൻ അരിഷ്ടനെ അവന്റെ അരിഷ്ടതയാൽ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു; പീഡയിൽ തന്നേ അവരുടെ ചെവി തുറക്കുന്നു.

English: Even so would he have removed you out of the strait into a broad place, where there is no strictness; and that which should be set on your table should be full of fatness.

Malayalam: നിന്നെയും അവൻ കഷ്ടതയുടെ വായിൽ നിന്നു ഇടുക്കമില്ലാത്ത വിശാലതയിലേക്കു നടത്തുമായിരുന്നു. നിന്റെ മേശമേൽ സ്വാദുഭോജനം വെക്കുമായിരുന്നു.

English: But you have fulfilled the judgment of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold on you.

Malayalam: നീയോ ദുഷ്ടവിധികൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; വിധിയും നീതിയും നിന്നെ പിടിക്കും.

English: Because there is wrath, beware lest he take you away with his stroke: then a great ransom cannot deliver you.

Malayalam: കോപം നിന്നെ പരിഹാസത്തിന്നായി വശീകരിക്കരുതു; മറുവിലയുടെ വലിപ്പം ഓർത്തു നീ തെറ്റിപ്പോകയുമരുതു.

English: Will he esteem your riches? no, not gold, nor all the forces of strength.

Malayalam: കഷ്ടത്തിൽ അകപ്പെടാതിരിപ്പാൻ നിന്റെ നിലവിളിയും ശക്തിയേറിയ പരിശ്രമങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെയും മതിയാകുമോ?

English: Desire not the night, when people are cut off in their place.

Malayalam: ജാതികൾ തങ്ങളുടെ സ്ഥലത്തുവെച്ചു മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകുന്ന രാത്രിയെ നീ കാംക്ഷിക്കരുതു.

English: Take heed, regard not iniquity: for this have you chosen rather than affliction.

Malayalam: സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾക; നീതികേടിലേക്കു തിരിയരുതു; അതല്ലോ നീ അരിഷ്ടതയെക്കാൾ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നതു.

English: Behold, God exalts by his power: who teaches like him?

Malayalam: ദൈവം തന്റെ ശക്തിയാൽ ഉന്നതമായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു; അവന്നു തുല്യനായ ഉപദേശകൻ ആരുള്ളു?

English: Who has commanded with authority him his way? or who can say, You have wrought iniquity?

Malayalam: അവനോടു അവന്റെ വഴിയെ കല്പിച്ചതാർ? നീ നീതികേടു ചെയ്തു എന്നു അവനോടു ആർക്കു പറയാം?

English: Remember that you magnify his work, which men behold.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയെ മഹിമപ്പെടുത്തുവാൻ നീ ഓർത്തുകൊൾക; അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചല്ലോ മനുഷ്യർ പാടിയിരിക്കുന്നതു.

English: Every man may see it; man may behold it far off.

Malayalam: മനുഷ്യരൊക്കെയും അതു കണ്ടു രസിക്കുന്നു; ദൂരത്തുനിന്നു മർത്യൻ അതിനെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുനോക്കുന്നു.

English: Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.

Malayalam: നമുക്കു അറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാതവണ്ണം ദൈവം അത്യുന്നതൻ; അവന്റെ ആണ്ടുകളുടെ സംഖ്യ ആരാഞ്ഞുകൂടാത്തതു.

English: For he makes small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof:

Malayalam: അവൻ നീർത്തുള്ളികളെ ആകർഷിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ ആവിയാൽ അവ മഴയായി പെയ്യുന്നു.

English: Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly.

Malayalam: മേഘങ്ങൾ അവയെ ചൊരിയുന്നു; മനുഷ്യരുടെമേൽ ധാരാളമായി പൊഴിക്കുന്നു.

English: Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle?

Malayalam: ആർക്കെങ്കിലും മേഘങ്ങളുടെ വിരിവുകളെയും അവന്റെ കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ മുഴക്കത്തെയും ഗ്രഹിക്കാമോ?

English: Behold, he spreads his light upon it, and covers the bottom of the sea.

Malayalam: അവൻ തന്റെ ചുറ്റും പ്രകാശം വിരിക്കുന്നു; സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ അടിയെ മൂടുന്നു.

English: For by them judges he the people; he gives food in abundance.

Malayalam: ഇവയാൽ അവൻ ജാതികളെ ന്യായം വിധിക്കുന്നു; ആഹാരവും ധാരാളമായി കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

English: With clouds he covers the light; and commands it not to shine by the cloud that comes between.

Malayalam: അവൻ മിന്നൽകൊണ്ടു തൃക്കൈ നിറെക്കുന്നു; പ്രതിയോഗിയുടെ നേരെ അതിനെ നിയോഗിക്കുന്നു.

English: The noise thereof shows concerning it, the cattle also concerning the vapour.

Malayalam: അതിന്റെ മുഴക്കം അവനെയും കന്നുകാലികൾ എഴുന്നെള്ളുന്നവനെയും കുറിച്ചു അറിവുതരുന്നു.
