Job 37

English: At this also my heart trembles, and is moved out of his place.

Malayalam: ഇതിനാൽ എന്റെ ഹൃദയം വിറെച്ചു തന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു പാളിപ്പോകുന്നു.

English: Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goes out of his mouth.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ നാദത്തിന്റെ മുഴക്കവും അവന്റെ വായിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുന്ന ഗർജ്ജനവും ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചുകേൾപ്പിൻ.

English: He directs it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.

Malayalam: അവൻ അതു ആകാശത്തിൻ കീഴിലൊക്കെയും അതിന്റെ മിന്നൽ ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റത്തോളവും അയക്കുന്നു.

English: After it a voice roars: he thunders with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard.

Malayalam: അതിന്റെ പിന്നാലെ ഒരു മുഴക്കം കേൾക്കുന്നു; അവൻ തന്റെ മഹിമാനാദംകൊണ്ടു ഇടമുഴക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ നാദം കേൾക്കുമ്പോൾ അവയെ തടുക്കുന്നില്ല.

English: God thunders marvellously with his voice; great things does he, which we cannot comprehend.

Malayalam: ദൈവം തന്റെ നാദം അതിശയമായി മുഴക്കുന്നു; നുമുകൂ ഗ്രഹിച്ചുകൂടാത്ത മഹാകാര്യങ്ങളെ ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: For he says to the snow, Be you on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.

Malayalam: അവൻ ഹിമത്തോടു: ഭൂമിയിൽ പെയ്യുക എന്നു കല്പിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ മഴയോടും വമ്പിച്ച പെരുമഴയോടും കല്പിക്കുന്നു.

English: He seals up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work.

Malayalam: താൻ സൃഷ്ടിച്ച മനുഷ്യരൊക്കെയും അറിവാന്തക്കവണ്ണം അവൻ സകലമനുഷ്യരുടെയും കൈ മുദ്രയിടുന്നു.

English: Then the beasts go into dens, and remain in their places.

Malayalam: കാട്ടുമൃഗം ഒളിവിടത്തു ചെന്നു തന്റെ ഗുഹയിൽ കിടക്കുന്നു.

English: Out of the south comes the whirlwind: and cold out of the north.

Malayalam: ദക്ഷിണമണ്ഡലത്തിൽനിന്നു കൊടുങ്കാറ്റും ഉത്തരദിക്കിൽനിന്നു കുളിരും വരുന്നു.

English: By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened.

Malayalam: ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ശ്വാസംകൊണ്ടു നീർക്കട്ട ഉളവാകുന്നു; വെള്ളങ്ങളുടെ വിശാലത ഉറെച്ചു പോകുന്നു.

English: Also by watering he wearies the thick cloud: he scatters his bright cloud:

Malayalam: അവൻ കാർമ്മേഘത്തെ ഈറംകൊണ്ടു കനപ്പിക്കുന്നു; തന്റെ മിന്നലുള്ള മേഘത്തെ പരത്തുന്നു.

English: And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commands them upon the face of the world in the earth.

Malayalam: അവൻ അവയോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും ഭൂമിയുടെ ഉപരിഭാഗത്തു ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന്റെ ആദേശപ്രകാരം അവ ചുറ്റി സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു.

English: He causes it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.

Malayalam: ശിക്ഷെക്കായിട്ടോ ദേശത്തിന്റെ നന്മെക്കായിട്ടോ ദയെക്കായിട്ടോ അവൻ അതു വരുത്തുന്നു.

English: Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.

Malayalam: ഇയ്യോബേ, ഇതു ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചുകൊൾക; മിണ്ടാതിരുന്നു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ചിന്തിച്ചുകൊൾക.

English: Do you know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine?

Malayalam: ദൈവം അവെക്കു കല്പന കൊടുക്കുന്നതും തന്റെ മേഘത്തിലെ മിന്നൽ പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കുന്നതും എങ്ങനെ എന്നു നീ അറിയുന്നുവോ?

English: Do you know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?

Malayalam: മേഘങ്ങളുടെ ആക്കത്തൂക്കവും ജ്ഞാനസമ്പൂർണ്ണനായവന്റെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും നീ അറിയുന്നുവോ?

English: How your garments are warm, when he stills the earth by the south wind?

Malayalam: തെന്നിക്കാറ്റുകൊണ്ടു ഭൂമി അനങ്ങാതിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ നിന്റെ വസ്ത്രത്തിന്നു ചൂടുണ്ടാകുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ?

English: Have you with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?

Malayalam: ലോഹദർപ്പണംപോലെ ഉറപ്പുള്ള ആകാശത്തെ നിനക്കു അവനോടുകൂടെ വിടർത്തു വെക്കുമോ?

English: Teach us what we shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.

Malayalam: അവനോടു എന്തു പറയേണമെന്നു ഞങ്ങൾക്കു ഉപദേശിച്ചു തരിക; അന്ധകാരംനിമിത്തം ഞങ്ങളൾക്കു ഒന്നും പ്രസ്താവിപ്പാൻ കഴിവില്ല.

English: Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.

Malayalam: എനിക്കു സംസാരിക്കേണം എന്നു അവനോടു ബോധിപ്പിക്കേണമോ? നാശത്തിന്നിരയായ്തീരുവാൻ ആരാനും ഇച്ഛിക്കുമോ?

English: And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passes, and cleanses them.

Malayalam: ഇപ്പോൾ ആകാശത്തിൽ വെളിച്ചം ശോഭിക്കുന്നതു കാണുന്നില്ല; എങ്കിലും കാറ്റു കടന്നു അതിനെ തെളിവാക്കുന്നു.

English: Fair weather comes out of the north: with God is terrible majesty.

Malayalam: വടക്കുനിന്നു സ്വർണ്ണശോഭപോലെ വരുന്നു; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ചുറ്റും ഭയങ്കരതേജസ്സുണ്ടു.

English: Concerning the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.

Malayalam: സർവ്വശക്തനെയോ നാം കണ്ടെത്തുകയില്ല; അവൻ ശക്തിയിൽ അത്യുന്നതനാകുന്നു; അവൻ ന്യായത്തിന്നും പൂർണ്ണനീതിക്കും ഭംഗം വരുത്തുന്നില്ല.

English: Men do therefore fear him: he respects not any that are wise of heart.

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു മനുഷ്യർ അവനെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു; ജ്ഞാനികളെന്നു ഭാവിക്കുന്നവരെ അവൻ കടാക്ഷിക്കുന്നില്ല.
