John 13

English: Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.

Malayalam: പെസഹപെരുനാളിന്നു മുമ്പെ താൻ ഈ ലോകം വിട്ടു പിതാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പോകുവാനുള്ള നാഴിക വന്നു എന്നു യേശു അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടു, ലോകത്തിൽ തനിക്കുള്ളവരെ സ്നേഹിച്ചതുപോലെ അവസാനത്തോളം അവരെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു.

English: And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him;

Malayalam: അത്താഴം ആയപ്പോൾ പിശാചു, ശിമോന്റെ മകനായ യൂദാ ഈസ്കർയോത്തവിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ അവനെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുപ്പാൻ തോന്നിച്ചിരുന്നു;

English: Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;

Malayalam: പിതാവു സകലവും തന്റെ കയ്യിൽ തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നും താൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽനിന്നു വന്നു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പോകുന്നു എന്നും യേശു അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കെ

English: He rises from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself.

Malayalam: അത്താഴത്തിൽ നിന്നു എഴുന്നേറ്റു വസ്ത്രം ഊരിവെച്ചു ഒരു തുവർത്തു എടുത്തു അരയിൽ ചുറ്റി

English: After that he pours water into a basin, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.

Malayalam: ഒരു പാത്രത്തിൽ വെള്ളം പകർന്നു ശിഷ്യന്മാരുടെ കാൽ കഴുകുവാനും അരയിൽ ചുറ്റിയിരുന്ന തുണികൊണ്ടു തുവർത്തുവാനും തുടങ്ങി.

English: Then comes he to Simon Peter: and Peter says unto him, Lord, do you wash my feet?

Malayalam: അവൻ ശിമോൻ പത്രൊസിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നപ്പോൾ അവൻ അവനോടു: കർത്താവേ, നീ എന്റെ കാൽ കഴുകുന്നുവോ, എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do you know not now; but you shall know hereafter.

Malayalam: യേശു അവനോടു: ഞാൻ ചെയ്യുന്നതു നീ ഇപ്പോൾ അറിയുന്നില്ല; പിന്നെ അറിയും എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Peter says unto him, You shall never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash you not, you have no part with me.

Malayalam: നീ ഒരുനാളും എന്റെ കാൽ കഴുകുകയില്ല എന്നു പത്രൊസ് പറഞ്ഞു. അതിന്നു യേശു: ഞാൻ നിന്നെ കഴുകാഞ്ഞാൽ നിനക്കു എന്നോടുകൂടെ പങ്കില്ല എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോൾ ശിമോൻ പത്രൊസ്:

English: Simon Peter says unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.

Malayalam: കർത്താവേ, എന്റെ കാൽ മാത്രമല്ല കയ്യും തലയും കൂടെ കഴുകേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Jesus says to him, He that is washed needs not save to wash his feet, but is clean everything: and all of you are clean, but not all.

Malayalam: യേശു അവനോടു: കുളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവന്നു കാൽ അല്ലാതെ കഴുകുവാൻ ആവശ്യം ഇല്ല; അവൻ മുഴുവനും ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവൻ; നിങ്ങൾ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവർ ആകുന്നു; എല്ലാവരും അല്ലതാനും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, All of you are not all clean.

Malayalam: തന്നെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്നവനെ അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കകൊണ്ടത്രേ എല്ലാവരും ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവരല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞതു.

English: So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know all of you what I have done to you?

Malayalam: അവൻ അവരുടെ കാൽ കഴുകീട്ടു വസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ചു വീണ്ടും ഇരുന്നു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ചെയ്തതു ഇന്നതു എന്നു അറിയുന്നുവോ?

English: All of you call me Master and Lord: and all of you say well; for so I am.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ ഗുരുവെന്നും കർത്താവെന്നും വിളിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ അങ്ങനെ ആകകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നതു ശരി.

English: If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; all of you also ought to wash one another's feet.

Malayalam: കർത്താവും ഗുരുവുമായ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ കാൽ കഴുകി എങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങളും തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ കാൽ കഴുകേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.

English: For I have given you an example, that all of you should do as I have done to you.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ചെയ്തതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ദൃഷ്ടാന്തം തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.

Malayalam: ആമേൻ, ആമേൻ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു: ദാസൻ യജമാനനെക്കാൾ വലിയവൻ അല്ല; ദൂതൻ തന്നെ അയച്ചവനെക്കാൾ വലിയവനുമല്ല.

English: If all of you know these things, happy are all of you if all of you do them.

Malayalam: ഇതു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നു എങ്കിൽ ചെയ്താൽ ഭാഗ്യവാന്മാർ.

English: I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങളെ എല്ലാവരെയും കുറിച്ചു പറയുന്നില്ല; ഞാൻ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തവരെ ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു; എന്നാൽ “എന്റെ അപ്പം തിന്നുന്നവൻ എന്റെ നേരെ കുതികാൽ ഉയർത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്നുള്ള തിരുവെഴുത്തിന്നു നിവൃത്തി വരേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.

English: Now I tell you before it come, that, when it has come to pass, all of you may believe that I am he.

Malayalam: അതു സംഭവിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ തന്നേ മശീഹ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ വിശ്വസിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ അതു സംഭവിക്കുംമുമ്പെ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

English: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receives whomsoever I send receives me; and he that receives me receives him that sent me.

Malayalam: ആമേൻ, ആമേൻ, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു: ഞാൻ അയക്കുന്നവനെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നവൻ എന്നെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നു; എന്നെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നവൻ എന്നെ അയച്ചവനെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നു.

English: When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.

Malayalam: ഇതു പറഞ്ഞിട്ടു യേശു ഉള്ളം കലങ്ങി: ആമേൻ, ആമേൻ, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു: നിങ്ങളിൽ ഒരുത്തൻ എന്നെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും എന്നു സാക്ഷീകരിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spoke.

Malayalam: ഇതു ആരെക്കുറിച്ചു പറയുന്നു എന്നു ശിഷ്യന്മാർ സംശയിച്ചു തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ നോക്കി.

English: Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.

Malayalam: ശിഷ്യന്മാരിൽ വെച്ചു യേശു സ്നേഹിച്ച ഒരുത്തൻ യേശുവിന്റെ മാർവ്വിടത്തു ചാരിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

English: Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom he spoke.

Malayalam: ശിമോൻ പത്രൊസ് അവനോടു ആംഗ്യം കാട്ടി, അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതു ആരെക്കൊണ്ടു എന്നു ചോദിപ്പാൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

English: He then lying on Jesus' breast says unto him, Lord, who is it?

Malayalam: അവൻ യേശുവിന്റെ നെഞ്ചോടു ചാഞ്ഞു: കർത്താവേ, അതു ആർ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

English: Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a morsel, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the morsel, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ അപ്പഖണ്ഡംമുക്കി കൊടുക്കുന്നവൻ തന്നേ എന്നു യേശു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു; ഖണ്ഡം മുക്കി ശിമോൻ ഈസ്കര്യോത്താവിന്റെ മകനായ യൂദെക്കു കൊടുത്തു.

English: And after the morsel Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That you do, do quickly.

Malayalam: ഖണ്ഡം വാങ്ങിയ ഉടനെ സാത്താൻ അവനിൽ കടന്നു; യേശു അവനോടു: നീ ചെയ്യുന്നതു വേഗത്തിൽ ചെയ്ക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spoke this unto him.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ ഇതു ഇന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞുവെന്നു പന്തിയിൽ ഇരുന്നവരിൽ ആരും അറിഞ്ഞില്ല.

English: For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.

Malayalam: പണസ്സഞ്ചി യൂദയുടെ പക്കൽ ആകയാൽ പെരുനാളിന്നു വേണ്ടുന്നതു മേടിപ്പാനോ ദരിദ്രർക്കു വല്ലതും കൊടുപ്പാനോ യേശു അവനോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ചിലർക്കു തോന്നി.

English: He then having received the morsel went immediately out: and it was night.

Malayalam: ഖണ്ഡം വാങ്ങിയ ഉടനെ അവൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റുപോയി, അപ്പോൾ രാത്രി ആയിരുന്നു.

English: Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.

Malayalam: അവൻ പോയശേഷം യേശു പറഞ്ഞതു: ഇപ്പോൾ മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ മഹത്വപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ദൈവവും അവനിൽ മഹത്വപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു;

English: If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall immediately glorify him.

Malayalam: ദൈവം അവനിൽ മഹത്വപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ ദൈവം അവനെ തന്നിൽ തന്നേ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും; ക്ഷണത്തിൽ അവനെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും.

English: Little children, yet a little while I am with you. All of you shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Where I go, all of you cannot come; so now I say to you.

Malayalam: കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളേ, ഞാൻ ഇനി കുറഞ്ഞോന്നു മാത്രം നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കും; നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കും; ഞാൻ പോകുന്ന ഇടത്തു നിങ്ങൾക്കു വരുവാൻ കഴികയില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ യെഹൂദന്മാരോടു പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ ഇന്നു നിങ്ങളോടും പറയുന്നു.

English: A new commandment I give unto you, That all of you love one another; as I have loved you, that all of you also love one another.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ സ്നേഹിക്കേണം എന്നു പുതിയോരു കല്പന ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു തരുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ സ്നേഹിച്ചതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളും തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ സ്നേഹിക്കേണം എന്നു തന്നേ.

English: By this shall all men know that all of you are my disciples, if all of you have love one to another.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾക്കു തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ സ്നേഹം ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ ശീഷ്യന്മാർ എന്നു എല്ലാവരും അറിയും.

English: Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, where go you? Jesus answered him, Where I go, you can not follow me now; but you shall follow me afterwards.

Malayalam: ശിമോൻ പത്രൊസ് അവനോടു: കർത്താവേ, നീ എവിടെ പോകന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു: ഞാൻ പോകുന്ന ഇടത്തേക്കു നിനക്കു ഇപ്പോൾ എന്നെ അനുഗമിപ്പാൻ കഴികയില്ല; പിന്നെത്തേതിൽ നീ എന്നെ അനുഗമിക്കും എന്നു യേശു അവനോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow you now? I will lay down my life for your sake.

Malayalam: പത്രൊസ് അവനോടു: കർത്താവേ, ഇപ്പോൾ എനിക്കു നിന്നെ അനുഗമിപ്പാൻ കഴിയാത്തതു എന്തു? ഞാൻ എന്റെ ജീവനെ നിനക്കു വേണ്ടി വെച്ചുകളയും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Jesus answered him, Will you lay down your life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto you, The cock shall not crow, till you have denied me three times.

Malayalam: അതിന്നു യേശു: നിന്റെ ജീവനെ എനിക്കുവേണ്ടി വെച്ചുകളയുമോ? ആമേൻ, ആമേൻ, ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു പറയുന്നു: നീ മൂന്നു പ്രവശ്യം എന്നെ തള്ളിപ്പറയുവോളം കോഴി ക്കുകുകയില്ല എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
