John 17

English: These words spoke Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son, that your Son also may glorify you:

Malayalam: ഇതു സംസാരിച്ചിട്ടു യേശു സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തേക്കു നോക്കി പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ: പിതാവേ, നാഴിക വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ പുത്രൻ നിന്നെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു പുത്രനെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തേണമേ.

English: As you have given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as you have given him.

Malayalam: നീ അവന്നു നല്കീട്ടുള്ളവർക്കെല്ലാവർക്കും അവൻ നിത്യജീവനെ കൊടുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ സകല ജഡത്തിന്മേലും അവന്നു അധികാരം നൽക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

English: And this is life eternal, that they might know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

Malayalam: ഏകസത്യദൈവമായ നിന്നെയും നീ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിനെയും അറിയുന്നതു തന്നേ നിത്യജീവൻ ആകുന്നു.

English: I have glorified you on the earth: I have finished the work which you gave me to do.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ ഭൂമിയിൽ നിന്നെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തി, നീ എനിക്കു ചെയ്‍വാൻ തന്ന പ്രവൃത്തി തികെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: And now, O Father, glorify you me with yours own self with the glory which I had with you before the world was.

Malayalam: ഇപ്പോൾ പിതാവേ, ലോകം ഉണ്ടാകുംമുമ്പെ എനിക്കു നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന മഹത്വത്തിൽ എന്നെ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തേണമേ.

English: I have manifested your name unto the men which you gave me out of the world: yours they were, and you gave them me; and they have kept your word.

Malayalam: നീ ലോകത്തിൽനിന്നു എനിക്കു തന്നിട്ടുള്ള മനുഷ്യർക്കു ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നാമം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. അവർ നിനക്കുള്ളവർ ആയിരുന്നു; നീ അവരെ എനിക്കു തന്നു; അവർ നിന്റെ വചനം പ്രമാണിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Now they have known that all things whatsoever you have given me are of you.

Malayalam: നീ എനിക്കു തന്നതു എല്ലാം നിന്റെ പക്കൽ നിന്നു ആകുന്നു എന്നു അവർ ഇപ്പോൾ അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: For I have given unto them the words which you gave me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from you, and they have believed that you did send me.

Malayalam: നീ എനിക്കു തന്ന വചനം ഞാൻ അവർക്കു കൊടുത്തു; അവർ അതു കൈക്കൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ നിന്നു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു സത്യമായിട്ടു അറിഞ്ഞും നീ എന്നെ അയച്ചു എന്നു വിശ്വസിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which you have given me; for they are yours.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ അവർക്കു വേണ്ടി അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; ലോകത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടി അല്ല; നീ എനിക്കു തന്നിട്ടുള്ളവർ നിനക്കുള്ളവർ ആകകൊണ്ടു അവർക്കു വേണ്ടിയത്രേ ഞാൻ അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതു.

English: And all mine are yours, and yours are mine; and I am glorified in them.

Malayalam: എന്റേതു എല്ലാം നിന്റേതും നിന്റേതു എന്റേതും ആകുന്നു; ഞാൻ അവരിൽ മഹത്വപ്പെട്ടുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to you. Holy Father, keep through yours own name those whom you have given me, that they may be one, as we are.

Malayalam: ഇനി ഞാൻ ലോകത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നില്ല; ഇവരോ ലോകത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുന്നു. പരിശുദ്ധപിതാവേ, അവർ നമ്മെപ്പോലെ ഒന്നാകേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ എനിക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ അവരെ കാത്തുകൊള്ളേണമേ.

English: While I was with them in the world, I kept them in your name: those that you gave me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

Malayalam: അവരോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്നപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ അവരെ നീ എനിക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ കാത്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; ഞാൻ അവരെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചു; തിരുവെഴുത്തിന്നു നിവൃത്തി വരേണ്ടതിന്നു ആ നാശയോഗ്യനല്ലാതെ അവരിൽ ആരും നശിച്ചുപോയിട്ടില്ല.

English: And now come I to you; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

Malayalam: ഇപ്പോഴോ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുന്നു; എന്റെ സന്തോഷം അവർക്കു ഉള്ളിൽ പൂർണ്ണമാകേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇതു ലോകത്തിൽവെച്ചു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.

English: I have given them your word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ അവർക്കു നിന്റെ വചനം കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ ലൌകികനല്ലാത്തതുപോലെ അവരും ലൌകികന്മാരല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു ലോകം അവരെ പകെച്ചു.

English: I pray not that you should take them out of the world, but that you should keep them from the evil.

Malayalam: അവരെ ലോകത്തിൽ നിന്നു എടുക്കേണം എന്നല്ല, ദുഷ്ടന്റെ കയ്യിൽ അകപ്പെടാതവണ്ണം അവരെ കാത്തുകൊള്ളേണം എന്നത്രേ ഞാൻ അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതു.

English: They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ ലൌകികനല്ലാത്തതുപോലെ അവരും ലൌകികന്മാരല്ല.

English: Sanctify them through your truth: your word is truth.

Malayalam: സത്യത്താൽ അവരെ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണമേ, നിന്റെ വചനം സത്യം ആകുന്നു.

English: As you have sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

Malayalam: നീ എന്നെ ലോകത്തിലേക്കു അയച്ചതുപോലെ ഞാൻ അവരെയും ലോകത്തിലേക്കു അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

Malayalam: അവരും സാക്ഷാൽ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടവർ ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ അവർക്കു വേണ്ടി എന്നെത്തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

Malayalam: ഇവർക്കു വേണ്ടിമാത്രമല്ല, ഇവരുടെ വചനത്താൽ എന്നിൽ വിശ്വസിപ്പാനിരിക്കുന്നവർക്കു വേണ്ടിയും ഞാൻ അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

English: That they all may be one; as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that you have sent me.

Malayalam: നീ എന്നെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ലോകം വിശ്വസിപ്പാൻ അവർ എല്ലാവരും ഒന്നാകേണ്ടതിന്നു, പിതാവേ, നീ എന്നിലും ഞാൻ നിന്നിലും ആകുന്നതുപോലെ അവരും നമ്മിൽ ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

English: And the glory which you gave me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

Malayalam: നീ എനിക്കു തന്നിട്ടുള്ള മഹത്വം ഞാൻ അവർക്കു കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു;

English: I in them, and you in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that you have sent me, and have loved them, as you have loved me.

Malayalam: നീ എന്നെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നും നീ എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവരെയും സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു എന്നും ലോകം അറിവാൻ, നാം ഒന്നായിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവരും ഒന്നാകേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ അവരിലും നീ എന്നിലുമായി അവർ ഐക്യത്തിൽ തികെഞ്ഞവരായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നെ.

English: Father, I will that they also, whom you have given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which you have given me: for you loved me before the foundation of the world.

Malayalam: പിതാവേ, നീ ലോകസ്ഥാപനത്തിന്നു മുമ്പെ എന്നെ സ്നേഹിച്ചരിക്കകൊണ്ടു എനിക്കു നല്കിയ മഹത്വം നീ എനിക്കു തന്നിട്ടുള്ളവർ കാണേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ ഇരിക്കുന്ന ഇടത്തു അവരും എന്നോടു കൂടെ ഇരിക്കേണം എന്നു ഞാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നു.

English: O righteous Father, the world has not known you: but I have known you, and these have known that you have sent me.

Malayalam: നീതിയുള്ള പിതാവേ, ലോകം നിന്നെ അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല; ഞാനോ നിന്നെ അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ എന്നെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഇവരും അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: And I have declared unto them your name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.

Malayalam: നീ എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന സ്നേഹം അവരിൽ ആകുവാനും ഞാൻ അവരിൽ ആകുവാനും ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നാമം അവർക്കു വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇനിയും വെളിപ്പെടുത്തും.
