John 16

English: These things have I spoken unto you, that all of you should not be offended.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ ഇടറിപ്പോകാതിരിപ്പാൻ ഞാൻ ഇതു നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time comes, that whosoever kills you will think that he does God service.

Malayalam: അവർ നിങ്ങളെ പള്ളിഭ്രഷ്ടർ ആക്കും; അത്രയുമല്ല നിങ്ങളെ കൊല്ലുന്നവൻ എല്ലാം ദൈവത്തിന്നു വഴിപാടു കഴിക്കുന്നു എന്നു വിചാരിക്കുന്ന നാഴിക വരുന്നു.

English: And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.

Malayalam: അവർ പിതാവിനെയും എന്നെയും അറിയായ്കകൊണ്ടു ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യും.

English: But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, all of you may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.

Malayalam: അതിന്റെ നാഴിക വരുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ അതു നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നു നിങ്ങൾ ഓർക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇതു നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ആദിയിൽ ഇതു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയാഞ്ഞതു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കകൊണ്ടത്രേ.

English: But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asks me, Where go you?

Malayalam: ഇപ്പോഴോ ഞാൻ എന്നെ അയച്ചവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പോകുന്നു: നീ എവിടെ പോകുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ ആരും എന്നോടു ചോദിക്കുന്നില്ല.

English: But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow has filled your heart.

Malayalam: എങ്കിലും ഇതു നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിക്കകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ദുഃഖം നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു സത്യം പറയുന്നു; ഞാൻ പോകുന്നതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു പ്രയോജനം; ഞാൻ പോകാഞ്ഞാൽ കാര്യസ്ഥൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ വരികയില്ല; ഞാൻ പോയാൽ അവനെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ അയക്കും.

English: And when he has come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

Malayalam: അവൻ വന്നു പാപത്തെക്കുറിച്ചും നീതിയെക്കുറിച്ചും ന്യായവിധിയെക്കുറിച്ചും ലോകത്തിന്നു ബോധം വരുത്തും.

English: Of sin, because they believe not on me;

Malayalam: അവർ എന്നിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു പാപത്തെക്കുറിച്ചും

English: Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and all of you see me no more;

Malayalam: ഞാൻ പിതാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പോകയും നിങ്ങൾ ഇനി എന്നെ കാണാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു

English: Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

Malayalam: നീതിയെക്കുറിച്ചും ഈ ലോകത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭു വിധിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു ന്യായവിധിയെക്കുറിച്ചും തന്നേ.

English: I have yet many things to say unto you, but all of you cannot bear them now.

Malayalam: ഇനിയും വളരെ നിങ്ങളോടു പറവാൻ ഉണ്ടു; എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഇപ്പോൾ വഹിപ്പാൻ കഴിവില്ല.

English: Nevertheless when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.

Malayalam: സത്യത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവു വരുമ്പോഴോ അവൻ നിങ്ങളെ സകല സത്യത്തിലും വഴിനടത്തും; അവൻ സ്വയമായി സംസാരിക്കാതെ താൻ കേൾക്കുന്നതു സംസാരിക്കയും വരുവാനുള്ളതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു അറിയിച്ചുതരികയും ചെയ്യും.

English: He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you.

Malayalam: അവൻ എനിക്കുള്ളതിൽനിന്നു എടുത്തു നിങ്ങൾക്കു അറിയിച്ചുതരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു എന്നെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും.

English: All things that the Father has are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you.

Malayalam: പിതാവിന്നുള്ളതു ഒക്കെയും എനിക്കുള്ളതു; അതുകൊണ്ടത്രേ അവൻ എനിക്കുള്ളതിൽ നിന്നു എടുത്തു നിങ്ങൾക്കു അറിയിച്ചുതരും എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞതു.

English: A little while, and all of you shall not see me: and again, a little while, and all of you shall see me, because I go to the Father.

Malayalam: കുറഞ്ഞോന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ കാണുകയില്ല; പിന്നെയും കുറഞ്ഞോന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ കാണും.

English: Then said some of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he says unto us, A little while, and all of you shall not see me: and again, a little while, and all of you shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?

Malayalam: അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരിൽ ചിലർ: കുറഞ്ഞോന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ കാണുകയില്ല; പിന്നെയും കുറഞ്ഞോന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു എന്നെ കാണും എന്നും പിതാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പോകുന്നു എന്നും അവൻ നമ്മോടു ഈ പറയുന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു തമ്മിൽ ചോദിച്ചു.

English: They said therefore, What is this that he says, A little while? we cannot tell what he says.

Malayalam: കുറഞ്ഞോന്നു എന്നു ഈ പറയുന്നതു എന്താകുന്നു? അവൻ എന്തു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നാം അറിയുന്നില്ല എന്നും അവർ പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do all of you enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and all of you shall not see me: and again, a little while, and all of you shall see me?

Malayalam: അവർ തന്നോടു ചോദിപ്പാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞു യേശു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: കുറഞ്ഞോന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു എന്നെ കാണുകയില്ല; പിന്നെയും കുറഞ്ഞോന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു എന്നെ കാണും എന്നു ഞാൻ പറകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ ചോദിക്കുന്നുവോ?

English: Verily, verily, I say unto you, That all of you shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and all of you shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.

Malayalam: ആമേൻ, ആമേൻ, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു: നിങ്ങൾ കരഞ്ഞു വിലപിക്കും; ലോകമോ സന്തോഷിക്കും; നിങ്ങൾ ദുഃഖിക്കും; എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദുഃഖം സന്തോഷമായിത്തീരും.

English: A woman when she is in travail has sorrow, because her hour has come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembers no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

Malayalam: സ്ത്രീ പ്രസവിക്കുമ്പോൾ തന്റെ നാഴിക വന്നതു കൊണ്ടു അവൾക്കു ദുഃഖം ഉണ്ടു; കുഞ്ഞിനെ പ്രസവിച്ചശേഷമോ ഒരു മനുഷ്യൻ ലോകത്തിലേക്കു പിറന്നിരിക്കുന്ന സന്തോഷം നിമിത്തം അവൾ തന്റെ കഷ്ടം പിന്നെ ഓർക്കുന്നില്ല.

English: And all of you now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man takes from you.

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഇപ്പോൾ ദുഃഖം ഉണ്ടു എങ്കിലും ഞാൻ പിന്നെയും നിങ്ങളെ കാണും; നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം സന്തോഷിക്കും; നിങ്ങളുടെ സന്തോഷം ആരും നിങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നു എടുത്തുകളകയില്ല.

English: And in that day all of you shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever all of you shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

Malayalam: അന്നു നിങ്ങൾ എന്നോടു ഒന്നും ചോദിക്കയില്ല. ആമേൻ, ആമേൻ, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു: നിങ്ങൾ പിതാവിനോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും അവൻ എന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു തരും.

English: Until now have all of you asked nothing in my name: ask, and all of you shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Malayalam: ഇന്നുവരെ നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ ഒന്നും അപേക്ഷിച്ചിട്ടില്ല; അപേക്ഷിപ്പിൻ; എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ സന്തോഷം പൂർണ്ണമാകുംവണ്ണം നിങ്ങൾക്കു ലഭിക്കും.

English: These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time comes, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall show you plainly of the Father.

Malayalam: ഇതു ഞാൻ സദൃശമായി നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എങ്കിലും ഞാൻ ഇനി സദൃശമായി നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിക്കാതെ പിതാവിനെ സംബന്ധിച്ചു സ്പഷ്ടമായി നിങ്ങളോടു അറിയിക്കുന്ന നാഴിക വരുന്നു.

English: At that day all of you shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:

Malayalam: അന്നു നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ അപേക്ഷിക്കും; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി പിതാവിനോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കും എന്നു ഞാൻ പറയുന്നില്ല.

English: For the Father himself loves you, because all of you have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു, ഞാൻ പിതാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽനിന്നു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു വിശ്വസിച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു പിതാവു താനും നിങ്ങളെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.

English: I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ പിതാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു ലോകത്തിൽ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; പിന്നെയും ലോകത്തെ വിട്ടു പിതാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പോകുന്നു.

English: His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speak you plainly, and speak no proverb.

Malayalam: അതിന്നു അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ: ഇപ്പോൾ നീ സദൃശം ഒന്നും പറയാതെ സ്പഷ്ടമായി സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Now are we sure that you know all things, and need not that any man should ask you: by this we believe that you came forth from God.

Malayalam: നീ സകലവും അറിയുന്നു എന്നും ആരും നിന്നോടു ചോദിപ്പാൻ നിനക്കു ആവശ്യം ഇല്ല എന്നും ഞങ്ങൾ ഇപ്പോൾ അറിയുന്നു; ഇതിനാൽ നീ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽനിന്നു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Jesus answered them, Do all of you now believe?

Malayalam: യേശു അവരോടു: ഇപ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നുവോ?

English: Behold, the hour comes, yea, is now come, that all of you shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ സ്വന്തത്തിലേക്കു ചിതറിപ്പോകയും എന്നെ ഏകനായി വിടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന നാഴിക വരുന്നു; വന്നുമിരിക്കുന്നു; പിതാവു എന്നോടുകൂടെ ഉള്ളതു കൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ ഏകനല്ല താനും.

English: These things I have spoken unto you, that in me all of you might have peace. In the world all of you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾക്കു എന്നിൽ സമാധാനം ഉണ്ടാകേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇതു നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ലോകത്തിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കഷ്ടം ഉണ്ടു; എങ്കിലും ധൈര്യപ്പെടുവിൻ; ഞാൻ ലോകത്തെ ജയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
