English: And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:

Malayalam: മൂന്നാം നാൾ ഗലീലയിലെ കാനാവിൽ ഒരു കല്യാണം ഉണ്ടായി; യേശുവിന്റെ അമ്മ അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

English: And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.

Malayalam: യേശുവിനെയും ശിഷ്യന്മാരെയും കല്യാണത്തിന്നു ക്ഷണിച്ചിരുന്നു.

English: And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus says unto him, They have no wine.

Malayalam: വീഞ്ഞു പോരാതെവരികയാൽ യേശുവിന്റെ അമ്മ അവനോടു: അവർക്കു വീഞ്ഞു ഇല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Jesus says unto her, Woman, what have I to do with you? mine hour is not yet come.

Malayalam: യേശു അവളോടു: “സ്ത്രീയേ, എനിക്കും നിനക്കും തമ്മിൽ എന്തു? എന്റെ നാഴിക ഇതുവരെ വന്നിട്ടില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു”.

English: His mother says unto the servants, Whatsoever he says unto you, do it.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ അമ്മ ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരോടു: അവൻ നിങ്ങളോടു എന്തെങ്കിലും കല്പിച്ചാൽ അതു ചെയ്‍വിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And there were set there six water pots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.

Malayalam: അവിടെ യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ ശുദ്ധീകരണനിയമം അനുസരിച്ചു രണ്ടോ മൂന്നോ പറവീതം കൊള്ളുന്ന ആറു കല്പാത്രം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

English: Jesus says unto them, Fill the water pots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.

Malayalam: യേശു അവരോടു: “ഈ കല്പാത്രങ്ങളിൽ വെള്ളം നിറെപ്പിൻ ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അവർ വക്കൊളവും നിറെച്ചു.

English: And he says unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.

Malayalam: “ഇപ്പോൾ കോരിവിരുന്നുവാഴിക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി കൊടുപ്പിൻ ” എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു; അവർ കൊണ്ടുപോയി കൊടുത്തു.

English: When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,

Malayalam: അതു എവിടെനിന്നു എന്നു വെള്ളം കോരിയ ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരല്ലാതെ വിരുന്നുവാഴി അറിഞ്ഞില്ല. വീഞ്ഞായിത്തീർന്ന വെള്ളം വിരുന്നുവാഴി രുചിനോക്കിയാറെ മണവാളനെ വിളിച്ചു:

English: And says unto him, Every man at the beginning does set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but you have kept the good wine until now.

Malayalam: എല്ലാവരും ആദ്യം നല്ല വീഞ്ഞും ലഹരി പിടിച്ചശേഷം ഇളപ്പമായതും കൊടുക്കുമാറുണ്ടു; നീ നല്ല വീഞ്ഞു ഇതുവരെയും സൂക്ഷിച്ചുവെച്ചുവല്ലോ എന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.

Malayalam: യേശു ഇതിനെ അടയാളങ്ങളുടെ ആരംഭമായി ഗലീലയിലെ കാനാവിൽ വെച്ചു ചെയ്തു തന്റെ മഹത്വം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി; അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ അവനിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചു.

English: After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days.

Malayalam: അനന്തരം അവനും അവന്റെ അമ്മയും സഹോദരന്മാരും ശിഷ്യന്മാരും കഫർന്നഹൂമിലേക്കു പോയി; അവിടെ ഏറനാൾ പാർത്തില്ല.

English: And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

Malayalam: യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ പെസഹ സമീപം ആകകൊണ്ടു യേശു യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു പോയി.

English: And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:

Malayalam: ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ കാള, ആടു, പ്രാവു, എന്നിവയെ വില്ക്കുന്നവരെയും അവിടെ ഇരിക്കുന്ന പൊൻവാണിഭക്കാരെയും കണ്ടിട്ടു,

English: And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;

Malayalam: കയറുകൊണ്ടു ഒരു ചമ്മട്ടി ഉണ്ടാക്കി ആടുമാടുകളോടും കൂടെ എല്ലാവരെയും ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ നിന്നു പുറത്താക്കി. പൊൻവാണിഭക്കാരുടെ നാണ്യം തൂകിക്കളഞ്ഞു മേശകളെ മറിച്ചിട്ടു;

English: And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things behind; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.

Malayalam: പ്രാവുകളെ വില്ക്കുന്നവരോടു: “ഇതു ഇവിടെനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുപോകുവിൻ; എന്റെ പിതാവിന്റെ ആലയത്തെ വാണിഭശാല ആക്കരുതു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of yours house has eaten me up.

Malayalam: അപ്പോൾ അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ: നിന്റെ ആലയത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള എരിവു എന്നെ തിന്നുകളയുന്നു എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതു ഓർത്തു.

English: Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign show you unto us, seeing that you do these things?

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ യെഹൂദന്മാർ അവനോടു: നിനക്കു ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യാം എന്നതിന്നു നീ എന്തു അടയാളം കാണിച്ചു തരും എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

English: Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

Malayalam: യേശു അവരോടു: “ഈ മന്ദിരം പൊളിപ്പിൻ; ഞാൻ മൂന്നു ദിവസത്തിന്നകം അതിനെ പണിയും” എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and will you rear it up in three days?

Malayalam: യെഹൂദന്മാർ അവനോടു: ഈ മന്ദിരം നാല്പത്താറു സംവത്സരം കൊണ്ടു പണിതിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ മൂന്നു ദിവസത്തിനകം അതിനെ പണിയുമോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

English: But he spoke of the temple of his body.

Malayalam: അവനോ തന്റെ ശരീരം എന്ന മന്ദിരത്തെക്കുറിച്ചത്രേ പറഞ്ഞതു.

English: When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

Malayalam: അവൻ ഇതു പറഞ്ഞു എന്നു അവൻ മരിച്ചവരിൽ നിന്നു ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റ ശേഷം ശിഷ്യന്മാർ ഓർത്തു തിരുവെഴുത്തും യേശു പറഞ്ഞ വചനവും വിശ്വസിച്ചു.

English: Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.

Malayalam: പെസഹപെരുന്നാളിൽ യെരൂശലേമിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവൻ ചെയ്ത അടയാളങ്ങൾ കണ്ടിട്ടു പലരും അവന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചു.

English: But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,

Malayalam: യേശുവോ എല്ലാവരെയും അറികകൊണ്ടു തന്നെത്താൻ അവരുടെ പക്കൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചേല്പിച്ചില്ല.

English: And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.

Malayalam: മനുഷ്യനിലുള്ളതു എന്തു എന്നു സ്വതവെ അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കയാൽ തനിക്കു മനുഷ്യനെക്കുറിച്ചു യാതൊരുത്തന്റെയും സാക്ഷ്യം ആവശ്യമായിരുന്നില്ല.
