Luke 10

English: After these things the LORD appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, where he himself would come.

Malayalam: അനന്തരം കർത്താവു വേറെ എഴുപതു പേരെ നിയമിച്ചു, താൻ ചെല്ലുവാനുള്ള ഓരോ പട്ടണത്തിലേക്കും സ്ഥലത്തിലേക്കും അവരെ തനിക്കു മുമ്പായി ഈരണ്ടായി അയച്ചു, അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു:

English: Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray all of you therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

Malayalam: കൊയ്ത്തു വളരെ ഉണ്ടു സത്യം; വേലക്കാരോ ചുരുക്കം; ആകയാൽ കൊയ്ത്തിന്റെ യജമാനനോടു തന്റെ കൊയ്ത്തിന്നു വേലക്കാരെ അയക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അപേക്ഷിപ്പിൻ.

English: Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.

Malayalam: പോകുവിൻ; ചെന്നായ്ക്കളുടെ നടുവിൽ കുഞ്ഞാടുകളെപ്പോലെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ അയക്കുന്നു.

English: Carry neither purse, nor pouch, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.

Malayalam: സഞ്ചിയും പൊക്കണവും ചെരിപ്പും എടുക്കരുതു; വഴിയിൽ വെച്ചു ആരെയും വന്ദനം ചെയ്കയുമരുതു;

English: And into whatsoever house all of you enter, first say, Peace be to this house.

Malayalam: ഏതു വീട്ടിൽ എങ്കിലും ചെന്നാൽ: ഈ വീട്ടിന്നു സമാധാനം എന്നു ആദ്യം പറവിൻ

English: And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.

Malayalam: അവിടെ ഒരു സമാധാനപുത്രൻ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ സമാധാനം അവന്മേൽ വസിക്കും; ഇല്ലെന്നുവരികിലോ നിങ്ങളിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോരും.

English: And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.

Malayalam: അവർ തരുന്നതു തിന്നും കുടിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു ആ വീട്ടിൽ തന്നേ പാർപ്പിൻ; വേലക്കാരൻ തന്റെ കൂലിക്കു യോഗ്യനല്ലോ; വീട്ടിൽനിന്നു വീട്ടിലേക്കു മാറിപ്പോകരുതു.

English: And into whatsoever city all of you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:

Malayalam: ഏതു പട്ടണത്തിലെങ്കിലും ചെന്നാൽ അവർ നിങ്ങളെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ വെക്കുന്നതു ഭക്ഷിപ്പിൻ.

English: And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God has come nigh unto you.

Malayalam: അതിലെ രോഗികളെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കി, ദൈവരാജ്യം നിങ്ങൾക്കു സമീപിച്ചുവന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അവരോടു പറവിൻ.

English: But into whatsoever city all of you enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say,

Malayalam: ഏതു പട്ടണത്തിലെങ്കിലും ചെന്നാൽ അവർ നിങ്ങളെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ അതിന്റെ തെരുക്കളിൽ പോയി:

English: Even the very dust of your city, which cleaves on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be all of you sure of this, that the kingdom of God has come nigh unto you.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങളുടെ പട്ടണത്തിൽനിന്നു ഞങ്ങളുടെ കാലിന്നു പറ്റിയ പൊടിയും ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കുടഞ്ഞേച്ചുപോകുന്നു; എന്നാൽ ദൈവരാജ്യം സമീപിച്ചുവന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞുകൊൾവിൻ എന്നു പറവിൻ.

English: But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.

Malayalam: ആ പട്ടണത്തെക്കാൾ സൊദോമ്യർക്കു ആ നാളിൽ സഹിക്കാവതാകും” എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

English: Woe unto you, Chorazin! woe unto you, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.

Malayalam: കോരസീനേ, നിനക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! ബേത്ത്സയിദേ, നിനക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! നിങ്ങളിൽ നടന്ന വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികൾ സോരിലും സീദോനിലും നടന്നിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അവർ പണ്ടുതന്നേ രട്ടിലും വെണ്ണീറിലും ഇരുന്നു മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടുമായിരുന്നു.

English: But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ ന്യായവിധിയിൽ നിങ്ങളെക്കാൾ സോരിന്നും സീദോന്നും സഹിക്കാവതാകും.

English: And you, Capernaum, which are exalted to heaven, shall be thrust down to hell.

Malayalam: നീയോ കഫർന്നഹൂമേ, സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തോളം ഉയർന്നിരിക്കുമോ? നീ പാതാളത്തോളം താണുപോകും.

English: He that hears you hears me; and he that despises you despises me; and he that despises me despises him that sent me.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങളുടെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കുന്നവൻ എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങളെ തള്ളുന്നവൻ എന്നെ തള്ളുന്നു; എന്നെ തള്ളുന്നവൻ എന്നെ അയച്ചവനെ തള്ളുന്നു.

English: And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through your name.

Malayalam: ആ എഴുപതുപേർ സന്തോഷത്തേടെ മടങ്ങിവന്നു: കർത്താവേ, നിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ ഭൂതങ്ങളും ഞങ്ങൾക്കു കീഴടങ്ങുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു;

English: And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

Malayalam: അവൻ അവരോടു: “സാത്താൻ മിന്നൽപോലെ ആകാശത്തു നിന്നു വീഴുന്നതു ഞാൻ കണ്ടു.

English: Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Malayalam: പാമ്പുകളെയും തേളുകളെയും ശത്രുവിന്റെ സകല ബലത്തെയും ചവിട്ടുവാൻ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു അധികാരം തരുന്നു; ഒന്നും നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഒരിക്കലും ദോഷം വരുത്തുകയും ഇല്ല.

English: Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Malayalam: എങ്കിലും ഭൂതങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കീഴടങ്ങുന്നതിലല്ല. നിങ്ങളുടെ പേർ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതിലത്രേ സന്തോഷിപ്പിൻ.

English: In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hid these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in your sight.

Malayalam: ആ നാഴികയിൽ അവൻ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിൽ ആനന്ദിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞതു: “പിതാവേ, സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിന്നും ഭൂമിക്കും കർത്താവായുള്ളോവേ, നീ ഇവ ജ്ഞാനികൾക്കും വിവേകികൾക്കും മറെച്ചു ശിശുക്കൾക്കു വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വാഴ്ത്തുന്നു. അതേ, പിതാവേ, ഇങ്ങനെ നിനക്കു പ്രസാദം തോന്നിയല്ലോ.

English: All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knows who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.

Malayalam: എന്റെ പിതാവു സകലവും എങ്കൽ ഭരമേല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. പുത്രൻ ഇന്നവൻ എന്നു പിതാവല്ലാതെ ആരും അറിയുന്നില്ല; പിതാവു ഇന്നവൻ എന്നു പുത്രനും പുത്രൻ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിക്കൊടുപ്പാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നവനും അല്ലാതെ ആരും അറിയുന്നതുമില്ല.

English: And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that all of you see:

Malayalam: പിന്നെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരുടെ നേരെ തിരിഞ്ഞു: “നിങ്ങൾ കാണുന്നതിനെ കാണുന്ന കണ്ണു ഭാഗ്യമുള്ളതു.

English: For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which all of you see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which all of you hear, and have not heard them.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ കാണുന്നതിനെ കാണ്മാൻ ഏറിയ പ്രവാചകന്മാരും രാജാക്കന്മാരും ഇച്ഛിച്ചിട്ടും കണ്ടില്ല; നിങ്ങൾ കേൾക്കുന്നതിനെ കേൾപ്പാൻ ഇച്ഛിച്ചിട്ടും കേട്ടില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു” എന്നു പ്രത്യേകം പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

Malayalam: അനന്തരം ഒരു ന്യായശാസ്ത്രി എഴുന്നേറ്റു: ഗുരോ, ഞാൻ നിത്യജീവന്നു അവകാശി ആയിത്തീരുവാൻ എന്തു ചെയ്യേണം എന്നു അവനെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു ചോദിച്ചു.

English: He said unto him, What is written in the law? how read you?

Malayalam: അവൻ അവനോടു: “ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽ എന്തു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ എങ്ങനെ വായിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു അവൻ:

English: And he answering said, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbour as yourself.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ കർത്താവിനെ നീ പൂർണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടും പൂർണ്ണാത്മാവോടും പൂർണ്ണശക്തിയോടും പൂർണ്ണമനസ്സോടും കൂടെ സ്നേഹിക്കേണം എന്നും കൂട്ടുകാരനെ നിന്നെപ്പോലെതന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കേണം എന്നും തന്നെ എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And he said unto him, You have answered right: this do, and you shall live.

Malayalam: അവൻ അവനോടു: “നീ പറഞ്ഞ ഉത്തരം ശരി; അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്ക; എന്നാൽ നീ ജീവിക്കും” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?

Malayalam: അവൻ തന്നെത്താൻ നീതീകരിപ്പാൻ ഇച്ഛിച്ചിട്ടു യേശുവിനോടു: എന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരൻ ആർ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു യേശു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതു:

English: And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.

Malayalam: ഒരു മനുഷ്യൻ യെരൂശലേമിൽ നിന്നു യെരീഹോവിലേക്കു പോകുമ്പോൾ കള്ളന്മാരുടെ കയ്യിൽ അകപ്പെട്ടു; അവർ അവനെ വസ്ത്രം അഴിച്ചു മുറിവേല്പിച്ചു അർദ്ധപ്രാണനായി വിട്ടേച്ചു പോയി.

English: And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

Malayalam: ആ വഴിയായി യദൃച്ഛയാ ഒരു പുരോഹിതൻ വന്നു അവനെ കണ്ടിട്ടു മാറി കടന്നു പോയി.

English: And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ഒരു ലേവ്യനും ആ സ്ഥലത്തിൽ എത്തി അവനെ കണ്ടിട്ടു മാറി കടന്നുപോയി.

English: But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,

Malayalam: ഒരു ശമര്യക്കാരനോ വഴിപോകയിൽ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ എത്തി അവനെ കണ്ടിട്ടു മനസ്സലിഞ്ഞു അരികെ ചെന്നു

English: And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

Malayalam: എണ്ണയും വീഞ്ഞും പകർന്നു അവന്റെ മുറിവുകളെ കെട്ടി അവനെ തന്റെ വാഹനത്തിൽ കയറ്റി വഴിയമ്പലത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി രക്ഷചെയ്തു.

English: And on the next day when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever you spend more, when I come again, I will repay you.

Malayalam: പിറ്റെന്നാൾ അവൻ പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ രണ്ടു വെള്ളിക്കാശ് എടുത്തു വഴിയമ്പലക്കാരന്നു കൊടുത്തു: ഇവനെ രക്ഷ ചെയ്യേണം; അധികം വല്ലതും ചെലവിട്ടാൽ ഞാൻ മടങ്ങിവരുമ്പോൾ തന്നു കൊള്ളാം എന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Which now of these three, think you, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?

Malayalam: കള്ളന്മാരുടെ കയ്യിൽ അകപ്പെട്ടവന്നു ഈ മൂവരിൽ ഏവൻ കൂട്ടുകാരനായിത്തീർന്നു എന്നു നിനക്കു തോന്നുന്നു?

English: And he said, He that showed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do you likewise.

Malayalam: അവനോടു കരുണ കാണിച്ചവൻ എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു. യേശു അവനോടു “നീയും പോയി അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ചെയ്ക” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.

Malayalam: പിന്നെ അവർ യാത്രപോകയിൽ അവൻ ഒരു ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ എത്തി; മാർത്താ എന്നു പേരുള്ള ഒരു സ്ത്രീ അവനെ വീട്ടിൽ കൈക്കൊണ്ടു.

English: And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.

Malayalam: അവൾക്കു മറിയ എന്ന ഒരു സഹോദരി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവൾ കർത്താവിന്റെ കാൽക്കൽ ഇരുന്നു അവന്റെ വചനം കേട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

English: But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.

Malayalam: മാർത്തയോ വളരെ ശുശ്രൂഷയാൽ കുഴങ്ങീട്ടു അടുക്കെവന്നു: കർത്താവേ, എന്റെ സഹോദരി ശുശ്രൂഷെക്കു എന്നെ തനിച്ചു വിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതിൽ നിനക്കു വിചാരമില്ലയോ? എന്നെ സഹായിപ്പാൻ അവളോടു കല്പിച്ചാലും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, you are careful and troubled about many things:

Malayalam: കർത്താവു അവളോടു: “മാർത്തയേ, മാർത്തയേ, നീ പലതിനെച്ചൊല്ലി വിചാരപ്പെട്ടും മനം കലങ്ങിയുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: But one thing is necessary: and Mary has chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ അല്പമേ വേണ്ടു; അല്ല, ഒന്നു മതി. മറിയ നല്ല അംശം തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു ആരും അവളോടു അപഹരിക്കയുമില്ല.
