Luke 13

English: There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.

Malayalam: ആ സമയത്തു തന്നേ അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ചിലർ പീലാത്തൊസ് ചില ഗലീലക്കാരുടെ ചോര അവരുടെ യാഗങ്ങളോടു കലർത്തിയ വർത്തമാനം അവനോടു അറിയിച്ചു.

English: And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose all of you that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?

Malayalam: അതിന്നു അവൻ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതു: “ആ ഗലീലക്കാർ ഇതു അനുഭവിക്കായാൽ എല്ലാ ഗലീലക്കാരിലും പാപികൾ ആയിരുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾക്കു തോന്നുന്നുവോ?

English: I tell you, Nay: but, except all of you repent, all of you shall all likewise perish.

Malayalam: അല്ലല്ല, മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടാഞ്ഞാൽ നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും അങ്ങനെതന്നേ നശിച്ചുപോകും” എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

English: Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think all of you that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?

Malayalam: അല്ല, ശീലോഹാമിലെ ഗോപുരം വീണു മരിച്ചുപോയ ആ പതിനെട്ടുപേർ യെരൂശലേമിൽ പാർക്കുന്ന സകല മനുഷ്യരിലും കുറ്റക്കാർ ആയിരുന്നു എന്നു തോന്നുന്നുവോ?

English: I tell you, Nay: but, except all of you repent, all of you shall all likewise perish.

Malayalam: അല്ലല്ല, മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടാഞ്ഞാൽ നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ നശിച്ചുപോകും” എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

English: He spoke also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.

Malayalam: അവൻ ഈ ഉപമയും പറഞ്ഞു: “ഒരുത്തന്നു തന്റെ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടത്തിൽ നട്ടിരുന്നോരു അത്തിവൃക്ഷം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവൻ അതിൽ ഫലം തിരഞ്ഞുവന്നു, കണ്ടില്ലതാനും.

English: Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbers it the ground?

Malayalam: അവൻ തോട്ടക്കാരനോടു: ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ മൂന്നു സംവത്സരമായി ഈ അത്തിയിൽ ഫലം തിരഞ്ഞുവരുന്നു കാണുന്നില്ലതാനും; അതിനെ വെട്ടിക്കളക അതു നിലത്തെ നിഷ്ഫലമാക്കുന്നതു എന്തിന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:

Malayalam: അതിന്നു അവൻ: കർത്താവേ, ഞാൻ അതിന്നു ചുറ്റും കിളെച്ചു വളം ഇടുവോളം ഈ ആണ്ടും കൂടെ നിൽക്കട്ടെ.

English: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that you shall cut it down.

Malayalam: മേലാൽ കായിച്ചെങ്കിലോ - ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ വെട്ടിക്കളയാം” എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.

Malayalam: ഒരു ശബ്ബത്തിൽ അവൻ ഒരു പള്ളിയിൽ ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു;

English: And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.

Malayalam: അവിടെ പതിനെട്ടു സംവത്സരമായി ഒരു രോഗാത്മാവു ബാധിച്ചിട്ടു ഒട്ടും നിവിരുവാൻ കഴിയാതെ കൂനിയായോരു സ്ത്രീ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

English: And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, you are loosed from yours infirmity.

Malayalam: യേശു അവളെ കണ്ടു അടുക്കെ വിളിച്ചു: “സ്ത്രിയേ, നിന്റെ രോഗബന്ധനം അഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവളുടെ മേൽ കൈവെച്ചു.

English: And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

Malayalam: അവൾ ക്ഷണത്തിൽ നിവിർന്നു ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തി.

English: And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.

Malayalam: യേശു ശബ്ബത്തിൽ സൌഖ്യമാക്കിയതു കൊണ്ടു പള്ളി പ്രമാണി നീരസപ്പെട്ടു പുരുഷാരത്തോടു: വേല ചെയ്‍വാൻ ആറുദിവസമുണ്ടല്ലോ; അതിന്നകം വന്നു സൌഖ്യം വരുത്തിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ; ശബ്ബത്തിൽ അരുതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: The Lord then answered him, and said, You hypocrite, does not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?

Malayalam: കർത്താവു അവനോടു: “കപടഭക്തിക്കാരേ, നിങ്ങളിൽ ഓരോരുത്തൻ ശബ്ബത്തിൽ തന്റെ കാളയെയോ കഴുതയെയോ തൊട്ടിയിൽ നിന്നു അഴിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയി വെള്ളം കുടിപ്പിക്കുന്നില്ലയോ?

English: And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ സാത്താൻ പതിനെട്ടു സംവത്സരമായി ബന്ധിച്ചിരുന്ന അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ മകളായ ഇവളെ ശബ്ബത്തുനാളിൽ ഈ ബന്ധനം അഴിച്ചു വിടേണ്ടതല്ലയോ ” എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

Malayalam: അവൻ ഇതു പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ അവന്റെ വിരോധികൾ എല്ലാവരും നാണിച്ചു; അവനാൽ നടക്കുന്ന സകല മഹിമകളാലും പുരുഷാരം ഒക്കെയും സന്തോഷിച്ചു.

English: Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and unto which shall I resemble it?

Malayalam: പിന്നെ അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതു: “ദൈവരാജ്യം ഏതിനോടു സദൃശം? ഏതിനോടു അതിനെ ഉപമിക്കേണ്ടു?

English: It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.

Malayalam: ഒരു മനുഷ്യൻ എടുത്തു തന്റെ തോട്ടത്തിൽ ഇട്ട കടുകുമണിയോടു അതു സദൃശം; അതു വളർന്നു വൃക്ഷമായി, ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികളും വന്നു അതിന്റെ കൊമ്പുകളിൽ വസിച്ചു.

English: And again he said, Unto which shall I liken the kingdom of God?

Malayalam: പിന്നെയും അവൻ “ദൈവരാജ്യത്തെ ഏതിനോടു ഉപമിക്കേണ്ടു? അതു പുളിച്ചമാവിനോടു തുല്ല്യം;

English: It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

Malayalam: അതു ഒരു സ്ത്രീ എടുത്തു മൂന്നുപറ മാവിൽ ചേർത്തു എല്ലാം പുളിച്ചുവരുവോളം അടക്കിവെച്ചു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.

Malayalam: അവൻ പട്ടണംതോറും ഗ്രാമംതോറും സഞ്ചരിച്ചു യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു യാത്ര ചെയ്തു.

English: Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,

Malayalam: അപ്പോൾ ഒരുത്തൻ അവനോടു: കർത്താവേ, രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവർ ചുരുക്കമോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു:

English: Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

Malayalam: ഇടുക്കുവാതിലൂടെ കടപ്പാൻ പോരാടുവിൻ. പലരും കടപ്പാൻ നോക്കും കഴികയില്ലതാനും” എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

English: When once the master of the house has risen up, and has shut to the door, and all of you begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence all of you are:

Malayalam: വീട്ടുടയവൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റു കതകു അടെച്ചശേഷം നിങ്ങൾ പുറത്തുനിന്നു: കർത്താവേ, തുറന്നു തരേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടു കതകിന്നു മുട്ടിത്തുടങ്ങുമ്പോൾ: “നിങ്ങൾ എവിടെ നിന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നില്ല,” എന്നു അവൻ ഉത്തരം പറയും.

English: Then shall all of you begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in your presence, and you have taught in our streets.

Malayalam: അന്നേരം നിങ്ങൾ: നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ തിന്നുകയും കുടിക്കയും ഞങ്ങളുടെ തെരുക്കളിൽ നീ പഠിപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്തുവല്ലൊ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞുതുടങ്ങും.

English: But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence all of you are; depart from me, all you workers of iniquity.

Malayalam: അവനോ: “നിങ്ങൾ എവിടെ നിന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു; അനീതി പ്രവൃത്തിക്കുന്ന ഏവരുമായുള്ളോരേ, എന്നെ വിട്ടുപോകുവിൻ ”എന്നു പറയും.

English: There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when all of you shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

Malayalam: അവിടെ അബ്രാഹാമും യിസ്ഹാക്കും യാക്കോബും സകല പ്രവാചകന്മാരും ദൈവ രാജ്യത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നതും നിങ്ങളെ പുറത്തു തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞതും നിങ്ങൾ കാണുമ്പോൾ കരച്ചലും പല്ലുകടിയും ഉണ്ടാകും.

English: And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.

Malayalam: കിഴക്കുനിന്നും പടിഞ്ഞാറുനിന്നും തെക്കുനിന്നും വടക്കുനിന്നും അനേകർ വന്നു ദൈവരാജ്യത്തിൽ പന്തിയിലിരിക്കും.

English: And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

Malayalam: മുമ്പന്മാരായ്തീരുന്ന പിമ്പന്മാരുണ്ടു, പിമ്പന്മാരായ്തീരുന്ന മുമ്പന്മാരും ഉണ്ടു.

English: The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get you out, and depart behind: for Herod will kill you.

Malayalam: ആ നാഴികയിൽ തന്നേ ചില പരീശന്മാർ അടുത്തുവന്നു: ഇവിടം വിട്ടു പൊയ്ക്കാൾക ഹെരോദാവു നിന്നെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And he said unto them, Go all of you, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.

Malayalam: അവൻ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: “നിങ്ങൾ പോയി ആ കുറുക്കനോടു: ഞാൻ ഇന്നും നാളെയും ഭൂതങ്ങളെ പുറത്താക്കുകയും രോഗശാന്തി വരുത്തുകയും മൂന്നാം നാളിൽ സമാപിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

English: Nevertheless I must walk to day, and tomorrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.

Malayalam: എങ്കിലും ഇന്നും നാളെയും മറ്റെന്നാളും ഞാൻ സഞ്ചരിക്കേണ്ടതാകുന്നു; യെരൂശലേമിന്നു പുറത്തുവെച്ചു ഒരു പ്രവാചകൻ നശിച്ചുപോകുന്നതു അസംഭവ്യമല്ലോ ” എന്നു പറവിൻ.

English: O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which kill the prophets, and stone them that are sent unto you; how often would I have gathered your children together, as a hen does gather her brood under her wings, and all of you would not!

Malayalam: യെരൂശലേമേ, യെരൂശലേമേ, പ്രവാചകന്മാരെ കൊല്ലുകയും നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവരെ കല്ലെറികയും ചെയ്യുന്നവളേ, കോഴി തന്റെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ ചിറകിൻ കീഴിൽ ചേർക്കുംപോലെ നിന്റെ മക്കളെ എത്രവട്ടം ചേർത്തുകൊൾവാൻ എനിക്കു മനസ്സായിരുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾക്കോ മനസ്സായില്ല.

English: Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, All of you shall not see me, until the time come when all of you shall say, Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭവനം ശൂന്യമായ്ത്തീരും; കർത്താവിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ വരുന്നവൻ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറയുവോളം നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ കാണുകയില്ല ” എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.
